1Thus says the Lord: “Heaven is my throne, and the earth is my footstool; what is the house that you would build for me, and what is the place of my rest? But this is the one to whom I will look: he who is humble and contrite in spirit and trembles at my word. Rejoice with Jerusalem
7“Before she was in labor she gave birth; before her pain came upon her she delivered a son. (Isa 13:8)8Who has heard such a thing? Who has seen such things? Shall a land be born in one day? Shall a nation be brought forth in one moment? For as soon as Zion was in labor she brought forth her children. (Isa 66:7)9Shall I bring to the point of birth and not cause to bring forth?” says the Lord; “shall I, who cause to bring forth, shut the womb?” says your God.10“Rejoice with Jerusalem, and be glad for her, all you who love her; rejoice with her in joy, all you who mourn over her; (Isa 65:19)11that you may nurse and be satisfied from her consoling breast; that you may drink deeply with delight from her glorious abundance.”[1]12For thus says the Lord: “Behold, I will extend peace to her like a river, and the glory of the nations like an overflowing stream; and you shall nurse, you shall be carried upon her hip, and bounced upon her knees. Final Judgment and Glory of the Lord
15“For behold, the Lord will come in fire, and his chariots like the whirlwind, to render his anger in fury, and his rebuke with flames of fire. (Ps 68:17; Isa 33:14; Mal 3:1; 2Th 1:7)16For by fire will the Lord enter into judgment, and by his sword, with all flesh; and those slain by the Lord shall be many. (Ps 97:3; Joe 3:2)17“Those who sanctify and purify themselves to go into the gardens, following one in the midst, eating pig’s flesh and the abomination and mice, shall come to an end together, declares the Lord. (Isa 65:3; Isa 65:4; Isa 65:5)18“For I know[2] their works and their thoughts, and the time is coming[3] to gather all nations and tongues. And they shall come and shall see my glory, (Isa 2:2; Zec 14:16)19and I will set a sign among them. And from them I will send survivors to the nations, to Tarshish, Pul, and Lud, who draw the bow, to Tubal and Javan, to the coastlands far away, that have not heard my fame or seen my glory. And they shall declare my glory among the nations. Was wäre das für ein Ort, / der meine Ruhe ist? (Ac 7:49)2Dies alles hat meine Hand gemacht / und so ist dies alles geworden - Spruch des HERRN.
Auf den blicke ich: auf den Armen / und auf den, der zerschlagenen Geistes ist / und der zittert vor meinem Wort.3Man schlachtet Stiere - und erschlägt Menschen; / man opfert Schafe - und bricht einem Hund das Genick;
man bringt Speiseopfer dar - / und auch Schweineblut;
man spendet Weihrauch - / und preist einen Götzen.
Wie diese Menschen ihre eigenen Wege wählen / und an ihren Scheußlichkeiten Gefallen finden,4so wähle ich für sie Strafen aus / und bringe über sie Schrecken.
Denn ich rief und niemand antwortete, / ich redete und sie hörten nicht.
Sie haben getan, was böse ist in meinen Augen, / und was mir nicht gefällt, das haben sie erwählt. (Isa 65:12)5Hört das Wort des HERRN, / die ihr zittert vor seinem Wort!
Eure Brüder, die euch hassen, / die euch um meines Namens willen verstoßen,
sie haben gesagt: Der HERR soll doch seine Herrlichkeit zeigen, / damit wir eure Freude sehen. / Aber sie werden beschämt.6Tosender Lärm aus der Stadt, / Lärm aus dem Tempel, / Lärm des HERRN: Er vergilt seinen Feinden ihr Tun. (Isa 59:18)
Tröstung durch Gott als Mutter
7Noch bevor sie ihre Wehen bekommt, / hat sie schon geboren;
noch bevor die Wehen über sie kommen, / hat sie schon einen Knaben zur Welt gebracht. (Re 12:2)8Wer hat so etwas je gehört, / wer hat je dergleichen gesehen?
Wird ein Land an einem einzigen Tag geboren, / kommt eine Nation auf einmal zur Welt?
Doch Zion, kaum in den Wehen, / hat schon ihre Kinder geboren.9Sollte ich den Schoß öffnen / und nicht gebären lassen?, spricht der HERR.
Sollte ich, der gebären lässt, / den Schoß verschließen?, spricht dein Gott.10Freut euch mit Jerusalem / und jauchzt in ihr alle, die ihr sie liebt!
Jubelt mit ihr, / alle, die ihr um sie trauert,11auf dass ihr trinkt und satt werdet an der Brust ihrer Tröstungen, / auf dass ihr schlürft und euch labt an der Brust ihrer Herrlichkeit! (Isa 49:23; Isa 60:16)12Denn so spricht der HERR: / Siehe, wie einen Strom / leite ich den Frieden zu ihr
und die Herrlichkeit der Nationen / wie einen rauschenden Bach, / auf dass ihr trinken könnt;
auf der Hüfte werdet ihr getragen, / auf Knien geschaukelt. (Isa 30:28; Isa 60:4)13Wie einen Mann, den seine Mutter tröstet, / so tröste ich euch; / in Jerusalem findet ihr Trost.14Ihr werdet das sehen und euer Herz wird jubeln / und eure Knochen werden sprossen wie frisches Grün.
So offenbart sich die Hand des HERRN an seinen Knechten, / aber er ergrimmt gegen seine Feinde.15Denn siehe, der HERR kommt im Feuer heran, / wie der Sturm sind seine Wagen,
um in Glut seinen Zorn auszulassen / und sein Drohen in feurigen Flammen.16Denn mit Feuer und seinem Schwert geht der HERR ins Gericht mit allem Fleisch / und die vom HERRN Durchbohrten werden zahlreich sein. (Jer 25:31)17Die sich heiligen und reinigen bei den Gärten / hinter dem einen, der in der Mitte steht,
die Schweinefleisch, Abscheuliches und Mäuse essen, / alle zusammen nehmen sie ein Ende - Spruch des HERRN. (Isa 65:3; Eze 8:10)
Verehrung Gottes durch alle Nationen
18Ich kenne ihre Taten und ihre Gedanken und komme, um alle Nationen und Sprachen zu versammeln, und sie werden kommen und meine Herrlichkeit sehen.[1]19Ich stelle bei ihnen ein Zeichen auf und schicke von ihnen einige, die entronnen sind, zu den Nationen: nach Tarschisch, Pul und Lud, die den Bogen spannen, nach Tubal und Jawan, zu den fernen Inseln, die noch keine Kunde von mir gehört und meine Herrlichkeit noch nicht gesehen haben. Sie sollen meine Herrlichkeit unter den Nationen verkünden.20Sie werden alle eure Brüder aus allen Nationen als Opfergabe für den HERRN herbeibringen auf Rossen und Wagen, in Sänften, auf Maultieren und Kamelen, zu meinem heiligen Berg nach Jerusalem, spricht der HERR, so wie die Söhne Israels ihre Opfergabe in reinen Gefäßen zum Haus des HERRN bringen.21Und auch aus ihnen nehme ich einige zu levitischen Priestern, spricht der HERR.22Denn wie der neue Himmel und die neue Erde, die ich mache, vor mir stehen - Spruch des HERRN -, so bleibt eure Nachkommenschaft und euer Name bestehen. (Isa 65:17; Re 21:1)23Und es wird geschehen, dass Neumond für Neumond und Sabbat für Sabbat alles Fleisch kommt, um sich vor mir niederzuwerfen, spricht der HERR. 1Così parla il Signore: «Il cielo è il mio trono e la terra è lo sgabello dei miei piedi; quale casa potreste costruirmi? Quale potrebbe essere il luogo del mio riposo?2Tutte queste cose le ha fatte la mia mano e così sono tutte venute all’esistenza», dice il Signore. «Ecco su chi io poserò lo sguardo: su colui che è umile, che ha lo spirito afflitto e trema alla mia parola.3Chi scanna un bue è come se uccidesse un uomo; chi sacrifica un agnello, come se accoppasse un cane; chi presenta un’offerta, come se offrisse sangue di porco; chi fa un profumo d’incenso, come se benedicesse un idolo. Come costoro hanno scelto le proprie vie e prendono piacere nelle loro abominazioni,4così sceglierò io la loro sventura e farò piombare loro addosso ciò che temono; poiché io ho chiamato e nessuno ha risposto, ho parlato ed essi non hanno dato ascolto, ma hanno fatto ciò che è male agli occhi miei e hanno preferito ciò che mi dispiace».5Ascoltate la parola del Signore, voi che tremate alla sua parola. «I vostri fratelli, che vi odiano e vi scacciano a causa del mio nome, dicono: “Si mostri il Signore nella sua gloria, affinché possiamo vedere la vostra gioia!” Ma essi saranno svergognati.6Uno strepito esce dalla città, un clamore viene dal tempio. È la voce del Signore, che dà la retribuzione ai suoi nemici.7Prima di provare le doglie del parto, essa ha partorito; prima che le venissero i dolori, ha dato alla luce un maschio.8Chi ha udito mai cosa siffatta? Rallegratevi grandemente con lei, voi tutti che siete in lutto per essa,11affinché siate allattati e saziati al seno delle sue consolazioni; affinché beviate a lunghi sorsi e con delizia l’abbondanza della sua gloria».12Poiché così parla il Signore: «Ecco, io dirigerò la pace verso di lei come un fiume, la ricchezza delle nazioni come un torrente che straripa, e voi sarete allattati, sarete portati in braccio, accarezzati sulle ginocchia.13Come un uomo consolato da sua madre così io consolerò voi, e sarete consolati in Gerusalemme».14Voi lo vedrete, e il vostro cuore gioirà, le vostre ossa, come l’erba, riprenderanno vigore; la mano del Signore si farà conoscere in favore dei suoi servi, e la sua indignazione contro i suoi nemici.15Poiché ecco, il Signore verrà nel fuoco e i suoi carri saranno come l’uragano per dare la retribuzione della sua ira furente, per eseguire le sue minacce con fiamme di fuoco.16Poiché il Signore eserciterà il suo giudizio con fuoco e spada, contro ogni carne; gli uccisi dal Signore saranno molti.17«Quelli che si santificano e si purificano per andare nei giardini dietro all’idolo che è là in mezzo, quelli che mangiano carne di porco, cose abominevoli e topi, saranno tutti consumati», dice il Signore.18«Io conosco le loro opere e i loro pensieri.
