1 A Psalm of the Sons of Korah. A Song. On the holy mount stands the city he founded; (Ps 42:1; Ps 48:1; Isa 28:16) 2 the Lord loves the gates of Zion more than all the dwelling places of Jacob. (Ps 78:67) 3 Glorious things of you are spoken, O city of God. (Ps 46:4; Isa 54:1; Isa 60:1) 4 Among those who know me I mention Rahab and Babylon; behold, Philistia and Tyre, with Cush[1]— “This one was born there,” they say. (Job 9:13; Ps 36:10; Ps 68:31; Isa 19:22; Joh 10:14) 5 And of Zion it shall be said, “This one and that one were born in her”; for the Most High himself will establish her. (Ps 48:8) 6 The Lord records as he registers the peoples, “This one was born there.” (Ps 69:28) 7 Singers and dancers alike say, “All my springs are in you.” (2Sa 6:14; Ps 36:9; Ps 68:25; Isa 12:3; Re 21:6)

1 Ein Psalm der Korachiter. Ein Lied. Der HERR liebt seine Gründung auf heiligen Bergen, 2 die Tore Zions mehr als alle Stätten Jakobs. (Ps 76:3; Ps 78:68) 3 Herrliches sagt man von dir, du Stadt unseres Gottes: [Sela] 4 Ich zähle Rahab und Babel zu denen, die mich erkennen, / auch das Philisterland, Tyrus und Kusch: Diese sind dort geboren. (Isa 19:24) 5 Ja, über Zion wird man sagen: / Ein jeder ist in ihr geboren. Er, der Höchste, gibt ihr Bestand! 6 Der HERR zählt und verzeichnet die Völker: Diese sind dort geboren. [Sela] (Isa 4:3) 7 Und sie werden beim Reigentanz singen: All meine Quellen entspringen in dir. (Ps 149:3; Isa 12:3)

1 Psaume des Qoréites[1]. Cantique[2]. Elle est fondée ╵sur les montagnes saintes, (Ps 42:1) 2 l’Eternel aime ╵la ville[3] de Sion plus que tout autre lieu ╵du pays de Jacob. 3 O toi, cité de Dieu, ce que l’on dit de toi ╵est tout chargé de gloire: Pause 4 « Parmi tous ceux qui me connaissent, je ferai mention de Rahav, l’Egypte[4] ╵aussi bien que de Babylone, j’inscris la Philistie, ╵et Tyr, et l’Ethiopie, comme étant nés ici[5]. » (Ps 89:11; Isa 19:2; Isa 30:7; Isa 51:9) 5 De Sion, on dira: ╵« Tout homme est né ici », et le Très-Haut lui-même ╵la maintient fermement. 6 Dans le registre ╵où l’Eternel inscrit les peuples, ╵pour chacun d’eux il note: « Un tel est né ici », Pause 7 et ils diront ╵dans leurs chants et leurs danses: « Toutes mes sources sont en toi. »
