Let the Redeemed of the Lord Say So

1 Oh give thanks to the Lord, for he is good, for his steadfast love endures forever! (Ps 100:5; Ps 105:1) 2 Let the redeemed of the Lord say so, whom he has redeemed from trouble^[1] (Ps 106:10; Isa 62:12; Isa 63:4) 3 and gathered in from the lands, from the east and from the west, from the north and from the south. 4 Some wandered in desert wastes, finding no way to a city to dwell in; (De 32:10; Ps 107:36; Ps 107:40) 5 hungry and thirsty, their soul fainted within them. Danklied der Erlösten

1 Dankt dem HERRN, denn er ist gut, denn seine Huld währt ewig. (Ps 106:1; Ps 118:1; Ps 136:1) 2 So sollen sprechen die vom HERRN Erlösten, die er erlöst hat aus der Hand des Bedrängers. 3 Er hat sie aus den Ländern gesammelt,/ vom Aufgang und vom Untergang, von Norden und vom Meer her. (Isa 43:5) 4 Sie, die umherirrten in der Wüste, im Ödland, und den Weg zur bewohnten Stadt nicht fanden, (De 8:15) 5 die Hunger litten und Durst, denen das Leben dahinschwand. (Isa 49:10) 6 Sie schrien zum HERRN in ihrer Bedrängnis und er entriss sie ihren Nöten, (Ps 50:15) 7 er führte sie auf geraden Wegen, sodass sie zur bewohnten Stadt gelangten. 8 Sie sollen dem HERRN danken für seine Huld, für seine Wundertaten an den Menschen, 9 denn er hat gesättigt die lechzende Kehle und die hungernde Kehle hat er gefüllt mit Gutem. (Isa 65:21) 38 Er segnete sie, sodass sie sich gewaltig vermehrten, und ihr Vieh machte er nicht weniger. (De 7:13) 39 Dann aber wurden sie weniger und beugten sich unter der Last von Unheil und Kummer. 40 Er goss Verachtung aus über die Edlen, er ließ sie umherirren in wegloser Wüste. 35 Mais il change aussi le désert en lac et la terre aride en sources d’eau vive, 36 et il y établit ╵ceux qui ont faim, pour qu’ils y fondent ╵une ville habitable, 37 qu’ils ensemencent des champs et plantent des vignes qui porteront des fruits en abondance. 38 Il les bénit en sorte qu’ils se multiplient, et il ne laisse pas ╵décroître leur bétail. 39 D’autres sont réduits à un petit nombre, ╵écrasés sous le poids de l’oppression, ╵du malheur et de la souffrance. 40 Dieu répand le mépris sur les puissants, les fait errer dans un désert sans route. 41 Mais il délivre le pauvre de la détresse et rend les familles fécondes ╵comme le petit bétail. 42 Les hommes droits le voient et ils s’en réjouissent, mais toute méchanceté a la bouche close. 43 Que celui qui est sage ╵prête attention à tout cela, et qu’il médite sur l’amour ╵de l’Eternel.
