1 But the Lord said to Moses, “Now you shall see what I will do to Pharaoh; for with a strong hand he will send them out, and with a strong hand he will drive them out of his land.” (Ex 3:19; Ex 11:1; Ex 12:33; Ex 12:39; Ex 13:3) 2 God spoke to Moses and said to him, “I am the Lord. (Isa 42:8; Mal 3:6) 3 I appeared to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob, as God Almighty,[1] but by my name the Lord I did not make myself known to them. (Ge 17:1; Ps 68:4; Ps 83:18; Joh 8:58; Re 1:4; Re 1:8) 4 I also established my covenant with them to give them the land of Canaan, the land in which they lived as sojourners. (Ge 15:18; Ge 17:4; Ge 17:7; Ge 17:8; Ge 28:4) 5 Moreover, I have heard the groaning of the people of Israel whom the Egyptians hold as slaves, and I have remembered my covenant. (Ex 2:24) 6 Say therefore to the people of Israel, ‘I am the Lord, and I will bring you out from under the burdens of the Egyptians, and I will deliver you from slavery to them, and I will redeem you with an outstretched arm and with great acts of judgment. (Ex 3:17; Ex 7:4; Ex 15:13; De 7:8; De 26:8; 2Ki 17:36; 1Ch 17:21; Ne 1:10; Ps 136:11; Isa 42:8; Mal 3:6) 7 I will take you to be my people, and I will be your God, and you shall know that I am the Lord your God, who has brought you out from under the burdens of the Egyptians. I will give it to you for a possession. I am the Lord.’” (Ge 14:22; Ge 15:18; Ge 26:3; Ge 28:13; Ge 35:12; Ex 6:6; Ex 32:13; De 32:40; Eze 20:5; Eze 20:6; Eze 20:42; Eze 47:14) 9 Moses spoke thus to the people of Israel, but they did not listen to Moses, because of their broken spirit and harsh slavery. (Ex 5:21; Ac 7:25) 10 So the Lord said to Moses, 11 “Go in, tell Pharaoh king of Egypt to let the people of Israel go out of his land.” 12 But Moses said to the Lord, “Behold, the people of Israel have not listened to me. How then shall Pharaoh listen to me, for I am of uncircumcised lips?” (Ex 4:10; Ex 6:9; Ex 6:30; Jer 1:6; Jer 6:10; Eze 44:7) 13 But the Lord spoke to Moses and Aaron and gave them a charge about the people of Israel and about Pharaoh king of Egypt: to bring the people of Israel out of the land of Egypt. 14 These are the heads of their fathers’ houses: the sons of Reuben, the firstborn of Israel: Hanoch, Pallu, Hezron, and Carmi; these are the clans of Reuben. (Ge 46:9; 1Ch 5:3) 15 The sons of Simeon: Jemuel, Jamin, Ohad, Jachin, Zohar, and Shaul, the son of a Canaanite woman; these are the clans of Simeon. (Ge 46:10; 1Ch 4:24) 16 These are the names of the sons of Levi according to their generations: Gershon, Kohath, and Merari, the years of the life of Levi being 137 years. (Ge 46:11; Nu 3:17; 1Ch 6:1; 1Ch 6:16) 17 The sons of Gershon: Libni and Shimei, by their clans. (Nu 3:18; 1Ch 6:17; 1Ch 23:7) 18 The sons of Kohath: Amram, Izhar, Hebron, and Uzziel, the years of the life of Kohath being 133 years. (Nu 3:19; Nu 26:57; 1Ch 6:2; 1Ch 6:18) 19 The sons of Merari: Mahli and Mushi. These are the clans of the Levites according to their generations. (Nu 3:20; 1Ch 6:19; 1Ch 23:21) 20 Amram took as his wife Jochebed his father’s sister, and she bore him Aaron and Moses, the years of the life of Amram being 137 years. (Ex 2:1) 21 The sons of Izhar: Korah, Nepheg, and Zichri. (Nu 16:1; 1Ch 6:37) 22 The sons of Uzziel: Mishael, Elzaphan, and Sithri. (Le 10:4; Nu 3:30) 23 Aaron took as his wife Elisheba, the daughter of Amminadab and the sister of Nahshon, and she bore him Nadab, Abihu, Eleazar, and Ithamar. (Le 10:1; Nu 1:7; Nu 2:3; Nu 3:2; Nu 7:12; Nu 7:17; Nu 10:14; Nu 26:60; Ru 4:19; 1Ch 2:10; 1Ch 6:3; 1Ch 24:1; Mt 1:4; Lu 3:32; Lu 3:33) 24 The sons of Korah: Assir, Elkanah, and Abiasaph; these are the clans of the Korahites. (1Ch 6:22; 1Ch 6:37) 25 Eleazar, Aaron’s son, took as his wife one of the daughters of Putiel, and she bore him Phinehas. These are the heads of the fathers’ houses of the Levites by their clans. (Nu 25:7; Nu 25:11; Jos 24:33; Ps 106:30) 26 These are the Aaron and Moses to whom the Lord said: “Bring out the people of Israel from the land of Egypt by their hosts.” (Ex 6:13; Ex 7:4; Ex 12:17; Ex 12:51; Nu 33:1) 27 It was they who spoke to Pharaoh king of Egypt about bringing out the people of Israel from Egypt, this Moses and this Aaron. 28 On the day when the Lord spoke to Moses in the land of Egypt, 29 the Lord said to Moses, “I am the Lord; tell Pharaoh king of Egypt all that I say to you.” (Ex 6:2; Ex 6:11; Ex 7:2) 30 But Moses said to the Lord, “Behold, I am of uncircumcised lips. How will Pharaoh listen to me?” (Ex 6:12; Isa 6:5)

1 Der HERR antwortete Mose: Jetzt wirst du sehen, was ich dem Pharao antue. Denn von starker Hand gezwungen, wird er sie ziehen lassen, ja, von starker Hand gezwungen, wird er sie sogar aus seinem Land ausweisen. 2 Gott redete mit Mose und sprach zu ihm: Ich bin der HERR. (Ex 3:15) 3 Ich bin Abraham, Isaak und Jakob als El-Schaddai erschienen, aber unter meinem Namen HERR habe ich mich ihnen nicht zu erkennen gegeben. 4 Auch habe ich einen Bund mit ihnen aufgerichtet und habe versprochen, ihnen das Land Kanaan zu geben, das Land, in dem sie als Fremde lebten. 5 Ferner habe ich gehört, wie die Israeliten darüber stöhnen, dass die Ägypter sie wie Sklaven behandeln. Da habe ich meines Bundes gedacht 6 und deshalb sag zu den Israeliten: Ich bin der HERR. Ich führe euch aus dem Frondienst für die Ägypter heraus und rette euch aus der Sklaverei. Ich erlöse euch mit hoch erhobenem Arm und durch gewaltige Entscheide. 7 Ich nehme euch mir zum Volk und werde euch Gott sein. Und ihr sollt wissen, dass ich der HERR bin, euer Gott, der euch aus dem Frondienst Ägyptens herausführt. 8 Ich führe euch in das Land, das ich Abraham, Isaak und Jakob unter Eid versprochen habe. Ich übergebe es euch als Eigentum, ich, der HERR. 9 So redete Mose zu den Israeliten. Sie aber hörten nicht auf Mose, weil sie vor harter Arbeit verzagten. 10 Da sprach der HERR zu Mose: 11 Geh, sag dem Pharao, dem König von Ägypten, er solle die Israeliten aus seinem Land fortziehen lassen! 12 Mose erwiderte dem HERRN: Wenn schon die Israeliten nicht auf mich hörten, wie sollte mich dann der Pharao anhören, zumal ich ungeschickt im Reden bin? 13 So redete der HERR mit Mose und mit Aaron. Er gab ihnen den Auftrag, zu den Israeliten und zum Pharao, dem König von Ägypten, zu gehen und die Israeliten aus Ägypten herauszuführen. 14 Das waren die Oberhäupter ihrer Großfamilien: Die Söhne Rubens, des Erstgeborenen Israels: Henoch, Pallu, Hezron und Karmi; das waren die Sippenverbände Rubens. (Nu 26:5) 15 Die Söhne Simeons: Jemuël, Jamin, Ohad, Jachin, Zohar und Schaul, der Sohn der Kanaaniterin; das waren die Sippenverbände Simeons. 16 Das waren die Namen der Söhne Levis nach ihrer Geschlechterfolge: Gerschon, Kehat und Merari. Die Lebenszeit Levis betrug hundertsiebenunddreißig Jahre. 17 Die Söhne Gerschons: Libni und Schimi, nach ihren Sippenverbänden. 18 Die Söhne Kehats: Amram, Jizhar, Hebron und Usiël. Die Lebenszeit Kehats betrug hundertdreiunddreißig Jahre. 19 Die Söhne Meraris: Machli und Muschi; das waren die Sippenverbände der Leviten nach ihrer Geschlechterfolge. 20 Amram nahm seine Tante Jochebed zur Frau. Sie gebar ihm Aaron und Mose. Die Lebenszeit Amrams betrug hundertsiebenunddreißig Jahre. (Ex 2:1; Nu 26:59) 21 Die Söhne Jizhars: Korach, Nefeg und Sichri. 22 Die Söhne Usiëls: Mischaël, Elizafan und Sitri. 23 Aaron nahm Elischeba, die Tochter Amminadabs, die Schwester Nachschons, zur Frau. Sie gebar ihm Nadab, Abihu, Eleasar und Itamar. 24 Die Söhne Korachs: Assir, Elkana und Abiasaf. Das waren die Sippenverbände der Korachiter. 25 Eleasar, der Sohn Aarons, nahm eine Tochter Putiëls zur Frau. Sie gebar ihm Pinhas. Das waren die Oberhäupter der levitischen Großfamilien nach ihren Sippenverbänden. 26 Das waren also Aaron und Mose, zu denen der HERR gesagt hatte: Führt die Israeliten aus dem Land Ägypten, ihre Scharen unter eurem Befehl! 27 Die beiden waren es, die mit dem Pharao, dem König von Ägypten, reden sollten, um die Israeliten aus Ägypten herauszuführen, Mose und Aaron. 28 Damals, als der HERR mit Mose in Ägypten redete, 29 sagte der HERR zu Mose: Ich bin der HERR. Sag dem Pharao, dem König von Ägypten, alles, was ich dir auftrage. 30 Mose aber antwortete dem HERRN: Ich bin doch ungeschickt im Reden; wie soll der Pharao auf mich hören?

1 L’Eternel dit à Moïse: Maintenant, tu vas voir ce que je vais faire au pharaon. Sous l’emprise d’une main puissante, non seulement il laissera partir le peuple, mais il le chassera lui-même de son pays. 2 Puis Dieu ajouta: Je suis l’Eternel. 3 Je me suis révélé à Abraham, à Isaac et à Jacob comme le Dieu tout-puissant, mais je n’ai pas été connu par eux sous mon nom: l’Eternel[1]. (Ex 3:14) 4 Je me suis engagé par mon alliance avec eux à leur donner le pays de Canaan, ce pays où ils étaient étrangers et où ils ont mené une vie errante. 5 De plus, j’ai entendu les gémissements des Israélites réduits à l’esclavage par les Egyptiens, et je me suis souvenu de mon alliance. 6 C’est pourquoi dis-leur de ma part: « Je suis l’Eternel! Je vous soustrairai aux corvées auxquelles les Egyptiens vous soumettent: je vous libérerai de l’esclavage qu’ils vous imposent, et je vous délivrerai par la force de mon bras et en exerçant de terribles jugements. 7 Je vous prendrai pour mon peuple, et je serai votre Dieu. Ainsi vous saurez que je suis l’Eternel votre Dieu qui vous affranchis des corvées que les Egyptiens vous imposent. 8 Puis je vous ferai entrer dans le pays que j’ai juré de donner à Abraham, à Isaac et à Jacob; je vous le donnerai pour qu’il vous appartienne, moi, l’Eternel. » 9 Moïse répéta ces paroles aux Israélites, mais ils ne l’écoutèrent pas parce qu’ils étaient démoralisés, à cause de leur dur esclavage. 10 L’Eternel parla à Moïse et lui dit: 11 Va demander au pharaon, roi d’Egypte, de laisser partir les Israélites de son pays. 12 Mais Moïse lui répondit: Même les Israélites ne m’ont pas écouté. Comment le pharaon m’écouterait-il, moi qui n’ai pas la parole facile? 13 L’Eternel parla à Moïse et à Aaron et leur ordonna d’aller trouver les Israélites et le pharaon, roi d’Egypte, pour faire sortir les Israélites d’Egypte. 14 Voici les noms des chefs des groupes familiaux israélites: Fils de Ruben, premier-né d’Israël: Hénok, Pallou, Hetsrôn et Karmi. Telles sont les familles de la tribu de Ruben[2]. 15 Les fils de Siméon furent: Yemouel, Yamîn, Ohad, Yakîn, Tsohar et Saül, fils de la Cananéenne. Telles sont les familles de la tribu de Siméon. 16 Voici les noms des fils de Lévi – qui vécut cent trente-sept ans[3] – et de leur lignée: Guershôn, Qehath et Merari. (Ge 46:8; Nu 3:17; Nu 26:57; 1Ch 6:1) 17 Fils de Guershôn: Libni et Shimeï, ancêtres de leurs familles. 18 Fils de Qehath, qui vécut cent trente-trois ans: Amram, Yitsehar, Hébron et Ouzziel. 19 Fils de Merari: Mahli et Moushi. Telles sont les familles de la tribu de Lévi, selon leurs lignées. 20 Amram prit pour femme Yokébed, sa tante, et elle lui donna Aaron et Moïse. Amram vécut cent trente-sept ans. 21 Fils de Yitsehar: Qoré, Népheg et Zikri. 22 Fils d’Ouzziel: Mishaël, Eltsaphân et Sitri. 23 Aaron prit pour femme Elishéba, fille d’Amminadab et sœur de Nahshôn, et elle lui donna Nadab, Abihou, Eléazar et Itamar. 24 Fils de Qoré: Assir, Elqana, Abiasaph. Telles sont les familles des Qoréites. 25 Eléazar, fils d’Aaron, prit pour femme une des filles de Poutiel qui lui donna Phinéas. Tels sont les chefs des groupes familiaux des lévites selon leurs différentes familles. 26 C’est à Aaron et à Moïse dont il vient d’être question que l’Eternel ordonna: « Faites sortir d’Egypte les Israélites, comme une armée en bon ordre. » 27 Ce sont eux qui allèrent trouver le pharaon, roi d’Egypte, pour faire sortir les Israélites de son pays. 28 Voici ce qui arriva le jour où l’Eternel s’adressa à Moïse en Egypte. 29 L’Eternel dit à Moïse: Je suis l’Eternel. Répète au pharaon, roi d’Egypte, tout ce que je te dis. 30 Mais Moïse répondit à l’Eternel: Je n’ai pas la parole facile, comment le pharaon consentira-t-il à m’écouter?
