1“You shall make the altar of acacia wood, five cubits[1] long and five cubits broad. The altar shall be square, and its height shall be three cubits. (Ex 38:1; Eze 43:13)2And you shall make horns for it on its four corners; its horns shall be of one piece with it, and you shall overlay it with bronze. (Ex 29:12; Ex 30:2; Le 4:7; Le 4:30; Nu 16:38; 1Ki 1:50; Ps 118:27)3You shall make pots for it to receive its ashes, and shovels and basins and forks and fire pans. You shall make all its utensils of bronze. (1Sa 2:13)4You shall also make for it a grating, a network of bronze, and on the net you shall make four bronze rings at its four corners.5And you shall set it under the ledge of the altar so that the net extends halfway down the altar.6And you shall make poles for the altar, poles of acacia wood, and overlay them with bronze.7And the poles shall be put through the rings, so that the poles are on the two sides of the altar when it is carried.8You shall make it hollow, with boards. As it has been shown you on the mountain, so shall it be made. (Ex 25:40)
The Court of the Tabernacle
9“You shall make the court of the tabernacle. On the south side the court shall have hangings of fine twined linen a hundred cubits long for one side. (Ex 38:9)10Its twenty pillars and their twenty bases shall be of bronze, but the hooks of the pillars and their fillets shall be of silver.11And likewise for its length on the north side there shall be hangings a hundred cubits long, its pillars twenty and their bases twenty, of bronze, but the hooks of the pillars and their fillets shall be of silver.12And for the breadth of the court on the west side there shall be hangings for fifty cubits, with ten pillars and ten bases.13The breadth of the court on the front to the east shall be fifty cubits.14The hangings for the one side of the gate shall be fifteen cubits, with their three pillars and three bases.15On the other side the hangings shall be fifteen cubits, with their three pillars and three bases.16For the gate of the court there shall be a screen twenty cubits long, of blue and purple and scarlet yarns and fine twined linen, embroidered with needlework. It shall have four pillars and with them four bases. (Ex 26:36)17All the pillars around the court shall be filleted with silver. Their hooks shall be of silver, and their bases of bronze.18The length of the court shall be a hundred cubits, the breadth fifty, and the height five cubits, with hangings of fine twined linen and bases of bronze.19All the utensils of the tabernacle for every use, and all its pegs and all the pegs of the court, shall be of bronze.
Oil for the Lamp
20“You shall command the people of Israel that they bring to you pure beaten olive oil for the light, that a lamp may regularly be set up to burn. (Le 24:1)21In the tent of meeting, outside the veil that is before the testimony, Aaron and his sons shall tend it from evening to morning before the Lord. It shall be a statute forever to be observed throughout their generations by the people of Israel. (Ex 25:22; Ex 26:31; Ex 29:42; Ex 30:36)

Heiligtum: Brandopferaltar
1Den Altar sollst du aus Akazienholz machen, fünf Ellen lang und fünf Ellen breit – viereckig[1] soll der Altar sein – und drei Ellen hoch. (Ex 31:9; 2Ch 4:1; Ezr 3:2; Eze 43:13)2Seine Hörner mache an seinen vier Ecken – seine Hörner sollen aus ⟨einem Stück mit⟩ ihm sein – und überziehe ihn mit Bronze! (Ex 29:12; 1Ki 1:50; Ps 118:27)3Fertige auch seine Töpfe an, ⟨die man braucht,⟩ um ihn von der Fettasche zu reinigen, und seine Schaufeln, seine Sprengschalen, seine Fleischgabeln und seine Feuerbecken[2]! Für all seine Geräte sollst du Bronze verwenden. (Ex 27:19; 1Ki 7:45)4Und mache für ihn ein bronzenes Gitter wie ein Netz[3], befestige an dem Netz⟨gitter⟩ vier bronzene Ringe an seinen vier Ecken5und setze es unter die Einfassung des Altars, von unten her, dass das Netz bis zur halben Höhe des Altars reicht!6Mache auch Stangen für den Altar, Stangen aus Akazienholz, und überzieh sie mit Bronze!7Diese seine Stangen sollen in die Ringe gesteckt werden, sodass die Stangen an beiden Seiten des Altars sind, wenn man ihn trägt.8Aus Brettern sollst du ihn anfertigen – ⟨innen⟩ hohl. Wie es dir auf dem Berg gezeigt worden ist, so soll man ihn machen. (Ex 25:40; Ex 38:9)
Heiligtum: Vorhof
9Und du sollst den Vorhof der Wohnung machen: an der Südseite, nach Süden zu, für den Vorhof Behänge aus gezwirntem Byssus, auf der einen Seite hundert Ellen lang. (Ex 35:17; 2Ch 4:9; Eze 40:17)10Seine zwanzig Säulen und ihre zwanzig Fußgestelle ⟨mache⟩ aus Bronze, die Nägel der Säulen und ihre Bindestäbe[4] aus Silber!11Und ebenso sollen an der Nordseite der Länge nach Behänge sein, hundert ⟨Ellen⟩ lang; seine zwanzig Säulen und ihre zwanzig Fußgestelle aus Bronze, die Nägel der Säulen und ihre Bindestäbe[5] aus Silber.12Und die Breite des Vorhofs an der Westseite ⟨soll⟩ an Behängen fünfzig Ellen ⟨betragen⟩, mit ihren zehn Säulen und ihren zehn Fußgestellen.13Auch die Breite des Vorhofs an der östlichen, dem Sonnenaufgang zugekehrten Seite ⟨soll⟩ fünfzig Ellen ⟨betragen⟩:14fünfzehn Ellen Behänge seien auf der einen Seite mit ihren drei Säulen und ihren drei Fußgestellen,15und ⟨auch⟩ auf der anderen Seite[6] fünfzehn ⟨Ellen⟩ Behänge, ihre drei Säulen und ihre drei Füße.16Das Tor des Vorhofs aber soll einen Vorhang[7] von zwanzig Ellen haben, aus violettem und rotem Purpur, Karmesinstoff und gezwirntem Byssus, in Buntwirkerarbeit, ihre vier Säulen und ihre vier Füße. (Ex 26:36)17Alle Säulen des Vorhofs ringsum ⟨sollen⟩ mit silbernen Bindestäben[8] versehen ⟨sein⟩, ihre Nägel ⟨seien aus⟩ Silber und ihre Fußgestelle ⟨aus⟩ Bronze.18Die Länge des Vorhofs ⟨betrage⟩ hundert Ellen, die Breite fünfzig gegen fünfzig und die Höhe fünf Ellen: ⟨alle Behänge seien aus⟩ gezwirntem Byssus, ihre Fußgestelle aber ⟨aus⟩ Bronze.19Alle Geräte der Wohnung für den ganzen Dienst in ihr[9], auch all ihre Pflöcke und alle Pflöcke des Vorhofs sollen ⟨aus⟩ Bronze sein. Heiligtum: Öl für den Leuchter
20Du nun gebiete den Söhnen Israel, dass sie dir reines Öl aus zerstoßenen Oliven[10] für den Leuchter bringen, damit man beständig eine Lampe daraufsetzen kann! (1Sa 3:3)21Im Zelt der Begegnung, außerhalb des Vorhangs[11], der vor dem Zeugnis[12] ist, sollen Aaron und seine Söhne sie herrichten, ⟨damit sie⟩ vom Abend bis zum Morgen vor dem HERRN ⟨brennt⟩. ⟨Das ist⟩ bei den Söhnen Israel eine ewige Ordnung für ⟨all⟩ ihre Generationen.
