2 Out of Zion, the perfection of beauty, God shines forth. (De 33:2; Ps 48:2; Ps 80:1; Ps 94:1; La 2:15)

7 “Hear, O my people, and I will speak; O Israel, I will testify against you. I am God, your God. (Ex 20:2; Ps 49:1; Ps 81:8) 8 Not for your sacrifices do I rebuke you; your burnt offerings are continually before me. (Ps 40:6) 9 I will not accept a bull from your house or goats from your folds. 10 For every beast of the forest is mine, the cattle on a thousand hills. 11 I know all the birds of the hills, and all that moves in the field is mine. 16 But to the wicked God says: “What right have you to recite my statutes or take my covenant on your lips? 17 For you hate discipline, and you cast my words behind you. (1Ki 14:9; Ne 9:26; Ro 2:21) 18 If you see a thief, you are pleased with him, and you keep company with adulterers. (Ro 1:32; 1Ti 5:22) 19 “You give your mouth free rein for evil, and your tongue frames deceit. (Ps 52:2) 20 You sit and speak against your brother; you slander your own mother’s son. 21 These things you have done, and I have been silent; you thought that I^[3] was one like yourself. 22 “Mark this, then, you who forget God, lest I tear you apart, and there be none to deliver! (Ps 7:2; Ps 9:17) 23 The one who offers thanksgiving as his sacrifice glorifies me; to one who orders his way rightly I will show the salvation of God!” (Ps 50:14; Ps 91:16; Ga 6:16)

Salmo de Asaf.

1 ’El, ’Elohim, YHVH: Ha hablado y convocado a la tierra desde el levante hasta el poniente. 2 Desde Sión, perfección de hermosura, ’Elohim resplandeció. 3 Nuestro Dios viene, y no en silencio; Un fuego devorador lo precede, Y en derredor suyo ruge una gran tempestad. 4 Desde arriba convoca a los cielos y a la tierra, Para juzgar a su pueblo: 5 ¡Juntadme a mis santos! Que sellaron pacto conmigo por medio del sacrificio. 6 Los cielos proclamarán su justicia, porque ’Elohim es el Juez. Selah 7 Oye, pueblo mío, y hablaré, Testificaré contra ti, Israel. Yo soy ’Elohim, el Dios tuyo. 8 No te reprendo por tus sacrificios, Ni por tus holocaustos, que están siempre delante de mí. 9 No aceptaré becerros de tu casa, Ni machos cabríos de tus apriscos. 10 Porque mía es toda bestia del bosque, Y los ganados sobre mil colinas. 11 Conozco toda ave de los montes, Y todo lo que se mueve en el campo me pertenece. 12 Si tuviera hambre, no te lo diría a ti, Porque mía es la tierra y su plenitud. 13 ¿Como Yo acaso carne de bueyes, o bebo sangre de machos cabríos? 14 ¡Sacrifica a ’Elohim ofrenda de alabanza! ¡Cumple a ’Elyón tus votos! 15 Invócame entonces en el día de angustia, Yo te libraré, y tú me honrarás. 16 Pero al malo dijo Dios: ¿Quién eres tú para recitar mis preceptos, y tomar mi pacto en tu boca? 17 Tú, que aborreces la corrección, y das la espalda a mis palabras. 18 Que si ves a un ladrón, corres en su compañía, Y con los adúlteros es tu parte. 19 Entregaste tu boca al mal, Y tu lengua trama el engaño. 20 Te sientas, y hablas contra tu hermano, Y difamas al hijo de tu propia madre. 21 Estas cosas has hecho, ¿Y guardaré silencio? ¿Pensaste que Yo soy igual a ti? Te reprenderé y expondré tus pecados ante tus propios ojos. 22 Entended bien esto, los que de ’Eloah os olvidáis, No sea que os destroce y no haya quien os salve. 23 El que sacrifica acciones de gracias, ése me honrará, Y al que ordena rectamente su camino, Le mostraré la salvación de Dios.
