Taste and See That the Lord Is Good

1  Of David, when he changed his behavior before Abimelech, so that he drove him out, and he went away. I will bless the Lord at all times; his praise shall continually be in my mouth. (1Sa 21:10; 1Sa 21:12; 1Sa 21:13; 1Sa 21:14; Eph 5:20; 1Th 5:18) 

2 My soul makes its boast in the Lord; let the humble hear and be glad. (1Sa 2:1; Ps 44:8; Ps 119:74; Jer 9:24) 

3 Oh, magnify the Lord with me, and let us exalt his name together! (Ps 35:27; Ps 40:16; Ps 69:30; Ps 70:4; Lu 1:46) 

4 I sought the Lord, and he answered me and delivered me from all my fears. (2Ch 15:2; Mt 7:7) 

5 Those who look to him are radiant, and their faces shall never be ashamed. (Ps 4:6; Isa 60:5) 

6 This poor man cried, and the Lord heard him and saved him out of all his troubles. (2Sa 22:1; Ps 34:15; Ps 34:17; Ps 34:19) 

7 The angel of the Lord encamps around those who fear him, and delivers them. (Ge 32:1; 2Ki 6:17; Da 6:22; Heb 1:14) 

8 Oh, taste and see that the Lord is good! Blessed is the man who takes refuge in him! (Ps 2:12; Ps 100:5; Heb 6:5; 1Pe 2:3) 

9 Oh, fear the Lord, you his saints, for those who fear him have no lack! 

10 The young lions suffer want and hunger; but those who seek the Lord lack no good thing. (Job 4:10; Ps 84:11) 

11 Come, O children, listen to me; I will teach you the fear of the Lord. (Ps 32:8; Ps 66:16) 

12 What man is there who desires life and loves many days, that he may see good? (Ec 3:13; Ec 6:6; 1Pe 3:10)

15 The eyes of the Lord are toward the righteous and his ears toward their cry. (Ps 33:18; Ps 34:6; Ps 34:8; Ps 145:18; Joh 9:31) 

16 The face of the Lord is against those who do evil, to cut off the memory of them from the earth. (Ps 21:10; Jer 44:11; Am 9:4) 

17 When the righteous cry for help, the Lord hears and delivers them out of all their troubles. (Ps 34:15) 

18 The Lord is near to the brokenhearted and saves the crushed in spirit. (Ps 51:17; Ps 147:3; Isa 57:15; Isa 61:1; Isa 66:2; Lu 15:17) 

19 Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but the Lord delivers him out of them all. (Ps 34:6; Ps 34:17; Ps 34:22; Ac 12:11; 2Ti 3:11) 

20 He keeps all his bones; not one of them is broken. (Joh 19:36) 

21 Affliction will slay the wicked, and those who hate the righteous will be condemned. (Ps 7:15; Ps 94:23; Pr 24:16) 

22 The Lord redeems the life of his servants; none of those who take refuge in him will be condemned. (Ps 25:22; Ro 8:33)

De David. Cuando cambió su conducta ante Abimelec, y éste lo echó y se fue.

1 Bendeciré a YHVH en todo tiempo, Su alabanza estará de continuo en mi boca. 

2 En YHVH se gloriará mi alma, Lo oirán los mansos y se alegrarán. 

3 Engrandeced a YHVH conmigo, Y exaltemos a una su Nombre. 

4 Busqué a YHVH y Él me respondió, Y me libró de todos mis temores. 

5 Los que miraron a Él fueron iluminados, Y sus rostros nunca serán avergonzados. 

6 Este pobre clamó, y YHVH lo escuchó, Y lo libró de todas sus angustias. 

7 El ángel de YHVH acampa alrededor de los que lo temen, Y los defiende. 

8 Gustad y ved que YHVH es bueno. ¡Cuán bienaventurado es el varón que se refugia en Él! 

9 Temed a YHVH, vosotros sus santos, Porque nada falta a los que le temen. 

10 Los leoncillos necesitan y tienen hambre, Pero los que buscan a YHVH no tendrán falta de ningún bien. 

11 Venid hijos, escuchadme, El temor de YHVH os enseñaré. 

12 ¿Quién es el hombre que desea la vida, Que desea muchos días para ver el bien? 

13 Guarda tu lengua del mal, Y tus labios de hablar engaño. 

14 Apártate del mal y haz el bien; Busca la paz y persíguela. 

15 Los ojos de YHVH están sobre los justos, Y sus oídos atentos al clamor de ellos. 

16 El rostro de YHVH está contra los que hacen el mal, Para cortar su memoria de la tierra. 

17 Claman los justos, y YHVH los oye, Y los libra de todas sus angustias. 

18 Cercano está YHVH a los quebrantados de corazón, Y salva a los contritos de espíritu. 

19 Muchas son las aflicciones del justo, Pero de todas ellas lo librará YHVH. 

20 Él guarda todos sus huesos, Ni uno de ellos será quebrantado. 

21 Matará al malo la maldad, Y los que aborrecen al justo serán declarados culpables. 

22 YHVH redimirá el alma de sus siervos, No serán condenados cuantos en Él confían.
