Psalm 138

Give Thanks to the Lord

1 Of David. I give you thanks, O Lord, with my whole heart; before the gods I sing your praise; (Ps 95:3; Ps 96:5; Ps 111:1) 

2 I bow down toward your holy temple and give thanks to your name for your steadfast love and your faithfulness, for you have exalted above all things your name and your word. (1Ki 8:29; Ps 5:7; Ps 28:2) 

3 On the day I called, you answered me; my strength of soul you increased. 

4 All the kings of the earth shall give you thanks, O Lord, for they have heard the words of your mouth, (Ps 102:15) 

5 and they shall sing of the ways of the Lord, for great is the glory of the Lord. (Ps 103:7) 

6 For though the Lord is high, he regards the lowly, but the haughty he knows from afar. (Ps 113:5; Ps 131:1; Pr 3:34; Lu 1:48; Jas 4:6) 

7 Though I walk in the midst of trouble, you preserve my life; you stretch out your hand against the wrath of my enemies, and your right hand delivers me. (1Sa 24:6; Job 1:12; Ps 23:4; Ps 60:5; Ps 71:20) 

8 The Lord will fulfill his purpose for me; your steadfast love, O Lord, endures forever. Do not forsake the work of your hands. (1Ch 16:41; Ps 57:2; Ps 100:3; Ps 136:1; Php 1:6)

1 Давидов псалом. Ще Те славя от все сърце, ще Ти пея хваления пред боговете, (Ps 119:46) 

2 ще Ти се поклоня пред святия Твой храм и ще славя Твоето име за милосърдието Ти и за верността Ти, защото си възвеличил думата Си повече от цялото Си име. (1Ki 8:29; 1Ki 8:30; Ps 5:7; Ps 28:2; Isa 42:21) 

3 В деня, когато извиках, Ти ме послуша; ободрил си ме със сила в душата ми. 

4 Ще Те прославят, ГОСПОДИ, всички земни царе, когато чуят думите на Твоите уста. (Ps 102:15; Ps 102:22) 

5 Да! Ще възпяват пътищата ГОСПОДНИ, че голяма е славата ГОСПОДНЯ. 

6 Защото, ако и да е възвишен ГОСПОД, пак гледа към смирения; а високоумния познава отдалеч. (Ps 113:5; Ps 113:6; Pr 3:34; Isa 57:16; Jas 4:6; 1Pe 5:5) 

7 Даже ако премина през утеснение, Ти ще ме съживиш; ще простреш ръката Си против гнева на неприятелите ми; и десницата Ти ще ме избави. (Ps 23:3; Ps 23:4) 

8 ГОСПОД ще извърши това, което е потребно за мене. ГОСПОДИ, понеже милостта Ти трае довека, не оставяй делата на Своите ръце. (Job 10:3; Job 10:8; Job 14:15; Ps 57:2; Php 1:6)
