Ankündigung von Gerichtsnot und Erlösung für Israel und Juda
1Das Wort, das von dem HERRN zu Jeremia geschah:2So spricht der HERR, der Gott Israels: Schreibe dir alle Worte, die ich zu dir geredet habe, in ein Buch! (2Mo 17,14; Jes 8,1; Jer 36,2; Jer 51,60)3Denn siehe, Tage kommen, spricht der HERR[1], da wende ich das Geschick meines Volkes Israel und Juda, spricht der HERR. Und ich bringe sie in das Land zurück, das ich ihren Vätern gegeben habe, damit sie es in Besitz nehmen. (Jer 16,15; Jer 29,14; Hes 34,13; Am 9,14; Zef 2,7)4Und das sind die Worte, die der HERR über Israel und über Juda geredet hat.5Denn so spricht der HERR: Eine Stimme des Schreckens haben wir[2] gehört. ⟨Da ist⟩ Furcht[3] und kein Friede. (Jer 6,22; Hab 1,6)6Fragt doch nach und seht, ob ein Mann[4] gebären kann! Warum sehe ich die Hände eines jeden Mannes auf seinen Lenden, einer Gebärenden gleich, und alle Gesichter in Blässe verwandelt? (Jer 4,31; Joe 2,6)7Wehe! Denn groß ist jener Tag, keiner ist wie er, und es ist eine Zeit der Bedrängnis für Jakob; doch wird er aus ihr gerettet werden. (Dan 9,12; Dan 12,1; Joe 2,11; Mi 4,9; Hab 3,16; Zef 1,14; Offb 6,17; Offb 7,14)8Denn an jenem Tag wird es geschehen, spricht der HERR[5] der Heerscharen, da zerbreche ich sein Joch von deinem Hals und zerreiße ich deine Stricke, und Fremde sollen ihn[6] nicht mehr dienstbar machen; (Jes 10,27; Jes 14,1; Hes 34,27)9sondern sie[7] werden dem HERRN, ihrem Gott, dienen und ihrem König David, den ich ihnen erwecke. (Jer 46,27; Hes 34,24; Hos 3,5)10Und du, fürchte dich nicht, mein Knecht Jakob, spricht der HERR[8], und erschrick nicht, Israel! Denn siehe, ich will dich retten aus der Ferne und deine Nachkommen aus dem Land ihrer Gefangenschaft. Und Jakob wird zurückkehren und Ruhe haben, er wird sicher sein, und niemand wird ihn aufschrecken. (Jes 41,13; Jes 49,12; Jer 23,6; Hes 34,28; Dan 12,1; Hos 2,20; Hos 6,11; Mi 4,4; Mi 4,9; Lk 1,71)11Denn ich bin mit dir, spricht der HERR[9], um dich zu retten. Denn ich werde ein Ende machen mit[10] allen Nationen, unter die ich dich zerstreut habe. Nur mit dir werde ich kein Ende machen, sondern dich mit rechtem Maß[11] züchtigen und dich keineswegs ungestraft lassen. (2Mo 34,7; 2Sam 24,12; Jes 27,7; Jer 1,19; Jer 5,10; Jer 10,24; Hos 11,9; Am 9,8)12Denn so spricht der HERR: Unheilbar ist dein Bruch, bösartig ist deine Wunde! (Jes 1,6; Jer 6,7; Jer 15,18; Kla 2,13; Mi 1,9; Nah 3,19)13Niemand führt deine Rechtssache, für das Geschwür ⟨gibt es keine⟩ Heilung, keine heilende Haut[12] für dich![13] (Jer 8,22; Jer 14,19)14All deine Liebhaber haben dich vergessen, sie fragen nicht nach dir. Denn ich habe dich verwundet, wie man einen Feind verwundet[14]. Deine Züchtigung war grausam[15] um der Größe deiner Schuld willen, weil deine Sünden zahlreich sind. (Jer 4,30; Jer 5,6; Jer 32,29; Kla 1,2; Kla 2,1; Dan 9,5)15Was schreist du um Hilfe über deinen Bruch, dass dein Schmerz unheilbar ist? Um der Größe deiner Schuld willen, weil deine Sünden zahlreich sind, habe ich dir das angetan. (Jes 1,6; Jer 6,7; Jer 15,18; Kla 2,13; Kla 3,39; Mi 1,9; Nah 3,19)16Darum sollen alle, die dich fressen, gefressen werden[16], und alle deine Bedränger sollen insgesamt in die Gefangenschaft gehen. Und deine Plünderer sollen der Plünderung verfallen, und alle, die dich beraubt haben, werde ich dem Raub preisgeben. (5Mo 30,7; 1Sam 17,53; Spr 22,23; Jer 10,25; Sach 1,15; Sach 2,12)17Denn ich will dir Genesung bringen[17] und dich von deinen Wunden heilen, spricht der HERR[18], weil man dich eine Verstoßene nennt: »Das ist Zion, nach dem niemand fragt!« (Jes 30,26; Jes 54,6; Jes 57,18; Jer 10,20; Jer 33,6; Hos 6,1)18So spricht der HERR: Siehe, ich will das Geschick der Zelte Jakobs wenden, und über seine Wohnungen will ich mich erbarmen. Und die Stadt wird auf ihrem Hügel ⟨wieder⟩ erbaut, und der Palast wird an seinem rechten Platz stehen[19]; (Ps 102,14; Jes 44,26; Jer 32,44; Sach 1,16)19und Lobgesang und die Stimme der Spielenden[20] soll ⟨wieder⟩ von ihnen ausgehen. Und ich will sie vermehren, und sie werden sich nicht vermindern. Und ich will sie herrlich machen, und sie werden nicht gering ⟨geachtet⟩ werden. (Jes 26,15; Jes 51,11; Jer 3,16; Jer 31,4; Hes 36,10; Zef 3,19; Sach 8,5; Sach 10,8)20Und seine Söhne werden sein wie früher, und seine Gemeinde wird vor mir fest stehen; alle seine Unterdrücker aber werde ich heimsuchen. (Ps 102,29; Jer 50,33; Kla 5,21; Sach 10,6)21Und sein Mächtiger wird ⟨wieder⟩ aus ihm ⟨selbst⟩ sein und sein Herrscher aus seiner Mitte hervorgehen. Und ich will ihm Zutritt gewähren, und er wird mir nahen. Denn wer ist es, der sein Herz verpfändet, um zu mir zu nahen?, spricht der HERR[21]. (5Mo 17,15)22Und ihr werdet mein Volk, und ich werde euer Gott sein. (Jer 11,4; Jer 24,7; Jer 31,1; Hes 11,20; Hes 36,28; Hos 2,25; Sach 8,8)23Siehe, ein Sturmwind des HERRN, ⟨sein⟩ Grimm ist hervorgebrochen, ein wirbelnder Sturmwind[22]; auf den Kopf der Gottlosen wirbelt er herab. (Jer 4,11; Jer 23,19)24Nicht wendet sich die Glut des Zornes des HERRN, bis er getan und bis er ausgeführt hat die Pläne seines Herzens. Am Ende der Tage werdet ihr das verstehen. (Jer 23,19)
1This is the word that came to Jeremiah from the Lord:2‘This is what the Lord, the God of Israel, says: “Write in a book all the words I have spoken to you.3The days are coming,” declares the Lord, “when I will bring my people Israel and Judah back from captivity[1] and restore them to the land I gave to their ancestors to possess,” says the Lord.’4These are the words the Lord spoke concerning Israel and Judah:5‘This is what the Lord says: ‘ “Cries of fear are heard – terror, not peace.6Ask and see: can a man bear children? Then why do I see every strong man with his hands on his stomach like a woman in labour, every face turned deathly pale?7How awful that day will be! No other will be like it. It will be a time of trouble for Jacob, but he will be saved out of it.8‘ “In that day,” declares the Lord Almighty, “I will break the yoke off their necks and will tear off their bonds; no longer will foreigners enslave them.9Instead, they will serve the Lord their God and David their king, whom I will raise up for them.10‘ “So do not be afraid, Jacob my servant; do not be dismayed, Israel,” declares the Lord. “I will surely save you out of a distant place, your descendants from the land of their exile. Jacob will again have peace and security, and no-one will make him afraid.11I am with you and will save you,” declares the Lord. “Though I completely destroy all the nations among which I scatter you, I will not completely destroy you. I will discipline you but only in due measure; I will not let you go entirely unpunished.”12‘This is what the Lord says: ‘ “Your wound is incurable, your injury beyond healing.13There is no-one to plead your cause, no remedy for your sore, no healing for you.14All your allies have forgotten you; they care nothing for you. I have struck you as an enemy would and punished you as would the cruel, because your guilt is so great and your sins so many.15Why do you cry out over your wound, your pain that has no cure? Because of your great guilt and many sins I have done these things to you.16‘ “But all who devour you will be devoured; all your enemies will go into exile. Those who plunder you will be plundered; all who make spoil of you I will despoil.17But I will restore you to health and heal your wounds,” declares the Lord, “because you are called an outcast, Zion for whom no-one cares.”18‘This is what the Lord says: ‘ “I will restore the fortunes of Jacob’s tents and have compassion on his dwellings; the city will be rebuilt on her ruins, and the palace will stand in its proper place.19From them will come songs of thanksgiving and the sound of rejoicing. I will add to their numbers, and they will not be decreased; I will bring them honour, and they will not be disdained.20Their children will be as in days of old, and their community will be established before me; I will punish all who oppress them.21Their leader will be one of their own; their ruler will arise from among them. I will bring him near and he will come close to me – for who is he who will devote himself to be close to me?” declares the Lord.22“So you will be my people, and I will be your God.” ’23See, the storm of the Lord will burst out in wrath, a driving wind swirling down on the heads of the wicked.24The fierce anger of the Lord will not turn back until he fully accomplishes the purposes of his heart. In days to come you will understand this.
