(Ps 78,68; Offb 20,9)3Herrliches ist über dich geredet, du Stadt Gottes. // (Ps 48,2; Hes 48,35; Hebr 12,22)4Ich will Rahab[1] und Babel erwähnen bei denen, die mich kennen; siehe, Philistäa und Tyrus samt Kusch[2]. Dieser ist dort geboren.5Von Zion aber wird gesagt werden: Mann für Mann ist darin geboren. Und der Höchste, er wird es befestigen. (Ps 48,9)6Der HERR wird schreiben beim Verzeichnen[3] der Völker: Dieser ist dort geboren. // (Hes 13,9; Gal 4,26)7Und singend und den Reigen tanzend ⟨werden sie sagen⟩: Alle meine Quellen sind in dir! (Ps 68,26; Ps 149,3; Jes 12,3; Hes 47,1)
1The LORD has built his city on the holy mountain.2He loves the city of Zion more than all the other places where the people of Jacob live.3City of God, the LORD says glorious things about you.4He says, ‘I will include Egypt and Babylon in a list of nations who recognise me as king. I will also include Philistia and Tyre, along with Cush. I will say about them, “They were born in Zion.” ’5Certainly it will be said about Zion, ‘This nation and that nation were born in it. The Most High God himself will make it secure.’6Here is what the LORD will write in his list of the nations. ‘Each of them was born in Zion.’7As they make music they will sing, ‘Zion, all our blessings come from you.’
