Sendschreiben an Ephesus

1 Dem Engel der Gemeinde in Ephesus schreibe: Dies sagt der, der die sieben Sterne in seiner Rechten hält, der inmitten der sieben goldenen Leuchter wandelt: (Eph 1,1; Offb 1,13) 

2 Ich kenne deine Werke und deine Mühe und dein Ausharren, und dass du Böse nicht ertragen kannst; und du hast die geprüft, die sich Apostel nennen und es nicht sind, und hast sie als Lügner befunden; (Ps 139,21; 2Kor 11,13; 1Thess 1,3; Hebr 6,10; 1Joh 4,1; Offb 2,19; Offb 3,1) 

3 und du hast Ausharren und hast ⟨vieles⟩ getragen um meines Namens willen und bist nicht müde geworden. (Phil 1,29; 2Thess 1,4) 

4 Aber ich habe gegen dich, dass du deine erste Liebe verlassen hast. (Jer 2,2; Mt 24,12; Offb 2,14) 

5 Denke nun daran, wovon du gefallen bist, und tue Buße und tue die ersten Werke! Wenn aber nicht, so komme ich ⟨zu⟩ dir und werde deinen Leuchter von seiner Stelle wegrücken, wenn du nicht Buße tust. (Jer 18,8; Offb 2,16; Offb 3,3) 

6 Aber dies hast du, dass du die Werke der Nikolaiten hasst, die auch ich hasse. (Ps 139,21; Offb 2,15) 

7 Wer ein Ohr hat, höre, was der Geist den Gemeinden sagt! Wer überwindet, dem werde ich zu essen geben von dem Baum des Lebens, welcher in dem Paradies Gottes ist. (1Mo 2,9; 1Mo 3,22; Mt 11,15; Lk 23,43; Offb 2,11; Offb 3,5; Offb 3,6; Offb 13,9; Offb 21,7; Offb 22,2) 

Sendschreiben an Smyrna

8 Und dem Engel der Gemeinde in Smyrna schreibe: Dies sagt der Erste und der Letzte, der tot war und wieder lebendig wurde: (Offb 1,17) 

9 Ich kenne deine Bedrängnis und deine Armut – du bist aber reich – und die Lästerung von denen, die sagen, sie seien Juden, und es nicht sind, sondern eine Synagoge des Satans. (Jak 2,5; Offb 3,9) 

10 Fürchte dich nicht vor dem, was du leiden wirst! Siehe, der Teufel wird ⟨einige⟩ von euch ins Gefängnis werfen, damit ihr geprüft werdet, und ihr werdet Bedrängnis haben zehn Tage. Sei treu bis zum Tod! Und ich werde dir den Siegeskranz des Lebens geben. (Lk 21,12; Jak 1,12; 1Petr 3,14) 

11 Wer ein Ohr hat, höre, was der Geist den Gemeinden sagt! Wer überwindet, wird keinen Schaden erleiden von dem zweiten Tod. (Offb 2,7; Offb 20,6; Offb 21,8) 

Sendschreiben an Pergamon

12 Und dem Engel der Gemeinde in Pergamon schreibe: Dies sagt der, der das zweischneidige, scharfe Schwert hat: (Offb 1,16) 

13 Ich weiß, wo du wohnst; wo der Thron des Satans ist; und du hältst meinen Namen fest und hast den Glauben an mich nicht verleugnet, auch in den Tagen des Antipas, meines treuen Zeugen, der bei euch, wo der Satan wohnt, ermordet worden ist. (Apg 22,20; 1Tim 5,8) 

14 Aber ich habe ein weniges gegen dich, dass du solche dort hast, welche die Lehre Bileams festhalten, der den Balak lehrte, einen Fallstrick vor die Söhne Israel zu legen, sodass sie Götzenopfer aßen und Unzucht trieben. (4Mo 25,1; 4Mo 31,16; 2Petr 2,15; Offb 2,4) 

15 So hast auch du solche, die in gleicher Weise die Lehre der Nikolaiten festhalten. (2Petr 2,1; Offb 2,6) 

16 Tu nun Buße! Wenn aber nicht, so komme ich ⟨zu⟩ dir bald und werde Krieg mit ihnen führen mit dem Schwert meines Mundes. (Offb 1,16; Offb 2,5) 

17 Wer ein Ohr hat, höre, was der Geist den Gemeinden sagt! Wer überwindet, dem werde ich von dem verborgenen Manna geben; und ich werde ihm einen weißen Stein geben und, auf den Stein geschrieben, einen neuen Namen, den niemand kennt, als wer ihn empfängt. (Jes 56,5; Jes 62,2; Jes 65,15; Joh 6,31; Offb 2,7; Offb 3,12) 

Sendschreiben an Thyatira

18 Und dem Engel der Gemeinde in Thyatira schreibe: Dies sagt der Sohn Gottes, der Augen hat wie eine Feuerflamme und Füße gleich glänzendem Erz: (Lk 1,35; Offb 1,14) 

19 Ich kenne deine Werke und deine Liebe und deinen Glauben und deinen Dienst und dein Ausharren und ⟨weiß, dass⟩ deine letzten Werke mehr sind als die ersten. (Offb 2,2) 

20 Aber ich habe gegen dich, dass du das Weib Isebel gewähren lässt, die sich eine Prophetin nennt und meine Knechte lehrt und verführt, Unzucht zu treiben und Götzenopfer zu essen. (2Mo 34,15; 1Kön 16,31; 2Kön 9,22; 1Kor 10,20; Offb 2,4) 

21 Und ich gab ihr Zeit, damit sie Buße tut, und sie will nicht Buße tun von ihrer Unzucht. 

22 Siehe, ich werfe sie aufs Bett und die, welche Ehebruch mit ihr treiben, in große Bedrängnis, wenn sie nicht Buße tun von ihren Werken. (Lk 13,3) 

23 Und ihre Kinder werde ich mit dem Tod töten, und alle Gemeinden werden erkennen, dass ich es bin, der Nieren und Herzen erforscht; und ich werde euch einem jeden nach euren Werken geben. (Ps 7,10; Ps 62,13; Jer 11,20; Jer 17,10; Jer 25,14; Mt 16,27; Joh 2,25; Apg 1,24; Röm 2,6; 2Tim 4,14; Offb 20,12; Offb 22,12) 

24 Euch aber sage ich, den Übrigen in Thyatira, allen, die diese Lehre nicht haben, welche die Tiefen des Satans, wie sie es nennen, nicht erkannt haben: Ich werfe keine andere Last auf euch. (Apg 15,28) 

25 Doch was ihr habt, haltet fest, bis ich komme! (Offb 3,11) 

26 Und wer überwindet und meine Werke bis ans Ende bewahrt, dem werde ich Macht über die Nationen geben; (1Kor 6,2; Hebr 3,14; Offb 2,7) 

27 und er wird sie hüten mit eisernem Stab, wie Töpfergefäße zerschmettert werden, (Ps 2,9; Offb 12,5; Offb 19,15) 

28 wie auch ich von meinem Vater empfangen habe; und ich werde ihm den Morgenstern geben. (2Petr 1,19; Offb 22,16) 

29 Wer ein Ohr hat, höre, was der Geist den Gemeinden sagt! (Offb 2,7)

1 Unto the angel of the church of Ephesus write; These things saith he that holdeth the seven stars in his right hand, who walketh in the midst of the seven golden candlesticks; 

2 I know thy works, and thy labour, and thy patience, and how thou canst not bear them which are evil: and thou hast tried them which say they are apostles, and are not, and hast found them liars: 

3 And hast borne, and hast patience, and for my name's sake hast laboured, and hast not fainted. 

4 Nevertheless I have somewhat against thee, because thou hast left thy first love. 

5 Remember therefore from whence thou art fallen, and repent, and do the first works; or else I will come unto thee quickly, and will remove thy candlestick out of his place, except thou repent. 

6 But this thou hast, that thou hatest the deeds of the Nicolaitanes, which I also hate. 

7 He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches; To him that overcometh will I give to eat of the tree of life, which is in the midst of the paradise of God. 

8 And unto the angel of the church in Smyrna write; These things saith the first and the last, which was dead, and is alive; 

9 I know thy works, and tribulation, and poverty, (but thou art rich) and I know the blasphemy of them which say they are Jews, and are not, but are the synagogue of Satan. 

10 Fear none of those things which thou shalt suffer: behold, the devil shall cast some of you into prison, that ye may be tried; and ye shall have tribulation ten days: be thou faithful unto death, and I will give thee a crown of life. 

11 He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches; He that overcometh shall not be hurt of the second death. 

12 And to the angel of the church in Pergamos write; These things saith he which hath the sharp sword with two edges; 

13 I know thy works, and where thou dwellest, even where Satan's seat is: and thou holdest fast my name, and hast not denied my faith, even in those days wherein Antipas was my faithful martyr, who was slain among you, where Satan dwelleth. 

14 But I have a few things against thee, because thou hast there them that hold the doctrine of Balaam, who taught Balac to cast a stumblingblock before the children of Israel, to eat things sacrificed unto idols, and to commit fornication. 

15 So hast thou also them that hold the doctrine of the Nicolaitanes, which thing I hate. 

16 Repent; or else I will come unto thee quickly, and will fight against them with the sword of my mouth. 

17 He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches; To him that overcometh will I give to eat of the hidden manna, and will give him a white stone, and in the stone a new name written, which no man knoweth saving he that receiveth it. 

18 And unto the angel of the church in Thyatira write; These things saith the Son of God, who hath his eyes like unto a flame of fire, and his feet are like fine brass; 

19 I know thy works, and charity, and service, and faith, and thy patience, and thy works; and the last to be more than the first. 

20 Notwithstanding I have a few things against thee, because thou sufferest that woman Jezebel, which calleth herself a prophetess, to teach and to seduce my servants to commit fornication, and to eat things sacrificed unto idols. 

21 And I gave her space to repent of her fornication; and she repented not. 

22 Behold, I will cast her into a bed, and them that commit adultery with her into great tribulation, except they repent of their deeds. 

23 And I will kill her children with death; and all the churches shall know that I am he which searcheth the reins and hearts: and I will give unto every one of you according to your works. 

24 But unto you I say, and unto the rest in Thyatira, as many as have not this doctrine, and which have not known the depths of Satan, as they speak; I will put upon you none other burden. 

25 But that which ye have already hold fast till I come. 

26 And he that overcometh, and keepeth my works unto the end, to him will I give power over the nations: 

27 And he shall rule them with a rod of iron; as the vessels of a potter shall they be broken to shivers: even as I received of my Father. 

28 And I will give him the morning star. 

29 He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches.
