1 Und das Wort des HERRN geschah zu mir so: 2 Menschensohn, sage zum Fürsten von Tyrus: So spricht der Herr, HERR: Weil dein Herz hoch hinaus will und du sagst: »Gott bin ich, den Wohnsitz der Götter bewohne ich im Herzen der Meere!«, während du ⟨doch nur⟩ ein Mensch bist und nicht Gott; du aber erhebst dein Herz, als wäre es Gottes Herz^[1] – (Ps 9,21; Jes 14,14; Jes 31,3; Hes 29,3; Dan 11,36; Mt 11,21; Apg 12,22; 2Thess 2,4)

6 darum, so spricht der Herr, HERR: Weil du dein Herz erhebst, als wäre es Gottes Herz^[3], 7 darum, siehe, ich bringe Fremde über dich, die gewalttätigsten Nationen, die werden ihre Schwerter ziehen gegen die Schönheit deiner Weisheit und werden deinen Glanz entweihen. (Hes 30,10; Hes 31,12; Hes 32,12) 8 In die Grube werden sie dich hinabfahren lassen, und du wirst den Tod eines Erschlagenen sterben im Herzen der Meere. 9 Wirst du dann angesichts deiner Mörder auch noch sagen: »Gott bin ich!«, während du ⟨doch nur⟩ ein Mensch bist und nicht Gott, in der Hand derer, die dich durchbohren^[4]? (Ps 82,7) 10 Den Tod^[5] von Unbeschnittenen wirst du sterben durch die Hand der Fremden; denn ich habe geredet, spricht der Herr, HERR^[6]. (Hes 32,19) 11 Und das Wort des HERRN geschah zu mir so: 12 Menschensohn, erhebe ein Klagelied über den König von Tyrus und sage ihm: So spricht der Herr, HERR: Du warst das vollendete Siegel^[7], voller Weisheit und vollkommen an Schönheit, 13 du warst in Eden, dem Garten Gottes; aus Edelsteinen jeder ⟨Art⟩ war deine Decke: Karneol, Topas und Jaspis, Türkis, Onyx und Nephrit, Saphir, Rubin und Smaragd; und Arbeit in Gold waren deine Ohrringe^[8] und deine Perlen^[9] an dir; am Tag, als du geschaffen wurdest, wurden sie bereitet. (1Mo 2,8; Hes 31,8) 14 Du warst ein mit ausgebreiteten ⟨Flügeln⟩^[10] schirmender Cherub, und ich hatte dich ⟨dazu⟩ gemacht^[11]; du warst auf Gottes heiligem Berg, mitten unter feurigen Steinen gingst du einher. (Jes 14,13; Hes 10,18) 15 Vollkommen warst du in deinen Wegen von dem Tag an, als du geschaffen wurdest, bis sich Unrecht an dir fand. (Pred 7,29) 16 Durch die Menge deines Handels fülltest du^[12] dein Inneres mit Gewalttat und sündigtest. Und ich verstieß dich vom Berg Gottes und trieb dich ins Verderben, du schirmender Cherub^[13], aus der Mitte der feurigen Steine. (Ob 1,4) 17 Dein Herz wollte hoch hinaus wegen deiner Schönheit, du hast deine Weisheit zunichtegemacht um deines Glanzes willen. Ich habe dich zu Boden geworfen, habe dich vor Königen dahingegeben, damit sie ihre Lust an dir sehen. (Spr 16,18; Jes 26,5) 18 Durch die Menge deiner Sünden, in der Unredlichkeit deines Handels, hast du deine Heiligtümer entweiht. Darum habe ich aus deiner Mitte ein Feuer ausgehen lassen, das hat dich verzehrt, und ich habe dich zu Asche auf der Erde gemacht vor den Augen aller, die dich sehen. (Jes 66,16; Mal 3,19) 19 Alle, die dich kennen unter den Völkern, entsetzen sich über dich; ein Schrecken bist du geworden und bist dahin auf ewig!

Drohrede gegen Sidon – Die zukünftige Heilszeit für Israel

20 Und das Wort des HERRN geschah zu mir so: 21 Menschensohn, richte dein Gesicht gegen Sidon und weissage über es, (Jos 19,28; Jes 23,4; Jer 25,22; Joe 4,4; Sach 9,2; Mt 11,21)

22 und sage: So spricht der Herr, HERR: Siehe, ich will an dich, Sidon, und will mich in deiner Mitte verherrlichen; und sie werden erkennen, dass ich der HERR bin, wenn ich Strafgerichte an ihm übe und mich an ihm als heilig erweise. 23 Und ich werde die Pest hineinsenden und Blut auf seine Straßen; und Erschlagene werden in seiner Mitte fallen durch das Schwert, ⟨das⟩ von allen Seiten über es ⟨kommt⟩. Und sie werden erkennen, dass ich der HERR bin. – (Hes 5,17; Hes 21,14; Hes 30,4; Hes 32,30)

24 Und für das Haus Israel soll es nicht mehr einen stechenden Dorn und einen schmerzenden Stachel geben von allen ⟨Nachbarn⟩ um sie her, die sie verachten. Und sie werden erkennen, dass ich der Herr, HERR, bin. (4Mo 33,55) 25 So spricht der Herr, HERR: Wenn ich das Haus Israel aus den Völkern sammle, unter die sie zerstreut worden sind, und ich mich an ihnen vor den Augen der Nationen als heilig erweise, dann werden sie in ihrem Land wohnen, das ich meinem Knecht Jakob gegeben habe. 26 Und sie werden in Sicherheit darin wohnen und Häuser bauen und Weinberge pflanzen; und sie werden in Sicherheit wohnen, wenn ich Strafgerichte geübt habe an allen, die sie verachteten aus ihrer Umgebung. 1 The word of the LORD came again unto me, saying, 2 Son of man, say unto the prince of Tyrus, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Because thine heart is lifted up, and thou hast said, I am a God, I sit in the seat of God, in the midst of the seas; yet thou art a man, and not God, though thou set thine heart as the heart of God: 3 Behold, thou art wiser than Daniel; there is no secret that they can hide from thee: 4 With thy wisdom and with thine understanding thou hast gotten thee riches, and hast gotten gold and silver into thy treasures: 5 By thy great wisdom and by thy traffick hast thou increased thy riches, and thine heart is lifted up because of thy riches: 6 Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD; Because thou hast set thine heart as the heart of God; 7 Behold, therefore I will bring strangers upon thee, the terrible of the nations: and they shall draw their swords against the beauty of thy wisdom, and they shall defile thy brightness. 8 They shall bring thee down to the pit, and thou shalt die the deaths of them that are slain in the midst of the seas. 9 Wilt thou yet say before him that slayeth thee, I am God? but thou shalt be a man, and no God, in the hand of him that slayeth thee. 10 Thou shalt die the deaths of the uncircumcised by the hand of strangers: for I have spoken it , saith the Lord GOD. 11 Moreover the word of the LORD came unto me, saying, 12 Son of man, take up a lamentation upon the king of Tyrus, and say unto him, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Thou sealest up the sum, full of wisdom, and perfect in beauty. 13 Thou hast been in Eden the garden of God; every precious stone was thy covering, the sardius, topaz, and the diamond, the beryl, the onyx, and the jasper, the sapphire, the emerald, and the carbuncle, and gold: the workmanship of thy tabrets and of thy pipes was prepared in thee in the day that thou wast created. 14 Thou art the anointed cherub that covereth; and I have set thee so : thou wast upon the holy mountain of God; thou hast walked up and down in the midst of the stones of fire. 15 Thou wast perfect in thy ways from the day that thou wast created, till iniquity was found in thee. 16 By the multitude of thy merchandise they have filled the midst of thee with violence, and thou hast sinned: therefore I will cast thee as profane out of the mountain of God: and I will destroy thee, O covering cherub, from the midst of the stones of fire. 17 Thine heart was lifted up because of thy beauty, thou hast corrupted thy wisdom by reason of thy brightness: I will cast thee to the ground, I will lay thee before kings, that they may behold thee. 18 Thou hast defiled thy sanctuaries by the multitude of thine iniquities, by the iniquity of thy traffick; therefore will I bring forth a fire from the midst of thee, it shall devour thee, and I will bring thee to ashes upon the earth in the sight of all them that behold thee. 19 All they that know thee among the people shall be astonished at thee: thou shalt be a terror, and never shalt thou be any more. 20 Again the word of the LORD came unto me, saying, 21 Son of man, set thy face against Zidon, and prophesy against it, 22 And say, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I am against thee, O Zidon; and I will be glorified in the midst of thee: and they shall know that I am the LORD, when I shall have executed judgments in her, and shall be sanctified in her. 23 For I will send into her pestilence, and blood into her streets; and the wounded shall be judged in the midst of her by the sword upon her on every side; and they shall know that I am the LORD. 24 And there shall be no more a pricking brier unto the house of Israel, nor any grieving thorn of all that are round about them, that despised them; and they shall know that I am the Lord GOD. 25 Thus saith the Lord GOD; When I shall have gathered the house of Israel from the people among whom they are scattered, and shall be sanctified in them in the sight of the heathen, then shall they dwell in their land that I have given to my servant Jacob. 26 And they shall dwell safely therein, and shall build houses, and plant vineyards; yea, they shall dwell with confidence, when I have executed judgments upon all those that despise them round about them; and they shall know that I am the LORD their God.
