1 Und das Wort des HERRN geschah zu mir so: 2 Und du, Menschensohn, erhebe ein Klagelied über Tyrus, (Jer 9,16; Hes 19,1; Hes 27,32; Hes 32,2)

3 und sage zu Tyrus, das an den Zugängen zum Meer wohnt und Handel treibt mit den Völkern nach vielen Inseln^[1] hin: So spricht der Herr, HERR: Tyrus, du sagst: Ich bin von vollkommener Schönheit^[2]! 4 Dein Gebiet ist im Herzen der Meere; deine Bauleute haben deine Schönheit vollkommen gemacht. 5 Aus Wacholder vom Senir^[3] bauten sie dir ⟨auf beiden Seiten⟩ alle Planken; sie nahmen Zedern vom Libanon, um auf dir einen Mast zu machen; (5Mo 3,9; 2Chr 2,7) 6 aus Eichen von Baschan machten sie deine Ruder; dein Deck^[4] machten sie aus Elfenbein, ⟨eingefasst⟩ in Zypressen von den Inseln der Kittäer^[5]. (1Mo 10,4; Jer 2,10; Dan 11,30) 7 Byssus in Buntwirkerei aus Ägypten war dein Segel, um dir als Flagge zu dienen; violetter und roter Purpur von den Inseln Elischas war dein Kajütendach^[6]. (1Chr 1,7; Spr 7,16) 8 Die Bewohner von Sidon und Arwad^[7] waren deine Ruderer; deine Weisen, Tyrus, waren in dir, sie waren deine Matrosen; (1Mo 10,15) 9 die Ältesten von Gebal^[8] und seine Weisen waren in dir als Ausbesserer deiner Lecks. Alle Schiffe des Meeres und ihre Seeleute waren in dir, um deine Tauschwaren einzutauschen. (Jos 13,5; Ps 83,8) 10 ⟨Söldner aus⟩ Paras und Lud und Put waren in deinem Heer als deine Kriegsleute; Schild und Helm hängten sie in dir auf, die verliehen dir Glanz. (Jer 46,9; Hes 30,5; Hes 38,5) 11 Die Söhne Arwads waren mit deinem Heer auf deinen Mauern ringsum, und die Gammaditer^[9] waren auf deinen Türmen; ihre Schilde hängten sie ringsum an deinen Mauern auf. Die machten deine Schönheit vollkommen. 12 Tarsis^[10] war dein Aufkäufer wegen der Fülle an allem Besitz; für Silber, Eisen, Zinn und Blei gaben sie deine Waren. (1Kön 10,22; 2Chr 9,21; Hes 38,13) 13 Jawan^[11], Tubal und Meschech^[12] waren Händler für dich; ⟨für⟩ Menschenseelen^[13] und bronzene Geräte gaben sie deine Tauschware. 14 Aus dem Haus Togarma^[14]: ⟨Für Zug⟩pferde, Reitpferde und Maultiere gaben sie deine Waren. (1Mo 10,3; Hes 38,6) 15 Die Söhne Dedans^[15] waren deine Händler. Viele Inseln^[16] waren Aufkäufer in deinem Dienst^[17]: Elefantenzähne^[18] und Ebenholz erstatteten sie dir als Abgabe. (1Mo 10,7; 1Mo 25,3; 1Kön 10,22; 2Chr 9,21; Hes 25,13; Hes 38,13)

16 Edom^[19] war Aufkäufer für dich wegen der Fülle deiner Erzeugnisse; für Rubin, roten Purpur und Buntwirkerei und Byssus und Korallen und Edelsteine gaben sie deine Waren^[20]. 17 Juda und das Land Israel, sie waren deine Händler; für Weizen ⟨aus⟩ Minnit und Feigen^[21] und Honig und Öl und Balsam gaben sie deine Tauschware. 18 Damaskus war dein Aufkäufer wegen der Fülle deiner Erzeugnisse, wegen der Fülle an allem Besitz, gegen Wein von Helbon und Wolle von Zachar. (Jes 7,8) 19 ^[22] Und Wein gaben sie für deine Ware; bearbeitetes Eisen^[23], Zimtblüten und Würzrohr waren da für deine Tauschware. (2Mo 30,23; Spr 7,17; Hl 4,14) 20 Dedan war deine Händlerin mit Satteldecken zum Reiten. (1Mo 10,7; 1Mo 25,3; Hes 25,13) 21 Arabien und alle Fürsten von Kedar^[24], sie waren Aufkäufer in deinem Dienst^[25]; für Lämmer und Widder und Böcke, für sie waren sie deine Aufkäufer. 22 Die Kaufleute von Saba und Ragma waren deine Händler; für das Beste von allem Balsam und für allerlei Edelsteine und Gold gaben sie deine Waren. (1Mo 10,7; 1Kön 10,1; Hes 23,42; Joe 4,8)

23 Haran und Kanne und Eden, die Händler von Saba, ⟨dazu⟩ Assur ⟨und⟩ ganz Medien^[26] waren deine Händlerschaft. (1Mo 10,10; 1Mo 10,28; 2Kön 19,12) 24 Sie waren deine Händler für Prachtgewänder, für Mäntel aus violettem Purpur und Buntwirkerei und für Teppiche aus zweifarbigem Gewebe, für gewundene und feste Seile auf deinem Markt. 25 Die Schiffe von Tarsis waren deine Karawanen ⟨für⟩ deine Tauschware. Und du wurdest ⟨mit Reichtum⟩ angefüllt und sehr herrlich im Herzen der Meere. 26 Deine Ruderer führten dich über gewaltige Wasser; der Ostwind ⟨aber⟩ zerbrach dich im Herzen der Meere. (Ps 48,8) 27 Dein Besitz und deine Waren, deine Tauschwaren, deine Seeleute und deine Matrosen, die Ausbesserer deiner Lecks und die, die deine Tauschwaren eintauschten, und alle deine Kriegsleute, die in dir sind, und dein ganzes Aufgebot^[27], das in deiner Mitte ist, werden ins Herz der Meere fallen am Tag deines Sturzes. 28 Von dem lauten Geschrei deiner Matrosen werden die Weidegebiete^[28] erbeben. 29 Und alle, die das Ruder führen, die Seeleute, alle Matrosen des Meeres werden von ihren Schiffen herabsteigen, werden an Land bleiben 30 und werden ihre Stimme über dich hören lassen und bitter schreien; und sie werden Staub auf ihre Köpfe werfen, sich in der Asche wälzen. (Est 4,1; Hi 2,12; Jer 6,26) 31 Und sie werden sich deinetwegen eine Glatze scheren und sich Sacktuch umgürten und werden deinetwegen weinen in Bitterkeit der Seele mit bitterer Totenklage. (Joe 1,13) 32 Und sie werden ein Klagelied über dich erheben in ihrem Jammern und werden über dich klagen:^[29] Wer ist wie Tyrus, wie die Vernichtete^[30] mitten im Meer! (Hes 27,2) 33 Als deine Waren von den Meeren herkamen, sättigtest du viele Völker; mit der Menge deiner Besitztümer und deiner Tauschwaren hast du die Könige der Erde reich gemacht. 34 Jetzt bist du zerbrochen,^[31] von den Meeren ⟨verschwunden⟩ in den Tiefen des Wassers, und deine Tauschwaren und dein ganzes Aufgebot in deiner Mitte ist gesunken. 35 Alle Bewohner der Inseln entsetzen sich über dich, und ihren Königen stehen die Haare zu Berge, ihre Gesichter sind verstört. 36 Die Aufkäufer unter den Völkern pfeifen^[32] über dich. 1 The word of the LORD came again unto me, saying, 2 Now, thou son of man, take up a lamentation for Tyrus; 3 And say unto Tyrus, O thou that art situate at the entry of the sea, which art a merchant of the people for many isles, Thus saith the Lord GOD; O Tyrus, thou hast said, I am of perfect beauty. 4 Thy borders are in the midst of the seas, thy builders have perfected thy beauty. 5 They have made all thy ship boards of fir trees of Senir: they have taken cedars from Lebanon to make masts for thee. 6 Of the oaks of Bashan have they made thine oars; the company of the Ashurites have made thy benches of ivory, brought out of the isles of Chittim. 7 Fine linen with broidered work from Egypt was that which thou spreadest forth to be thy sail; blue and purple from the isles of Elishah was that which covered thee. 8 The inhabitants of Zidon and Arvad were thy mariners: thy wise men , O Tyrus, that were in thee, were thy pilots. 9 The ancients of Gebal and the wise men thereof were in thee thy calkers: all the ships of the sea with their mariners were in thee to occupy thy merchandise. 10 They of Persia and of Lud and of Phut were in thine army, thy men of war: they hanged the shield and helmet in thee; they set forth thy comeliness. 11 The men of Arvad with thine army were upon thy walls round about, and the Gammadims were in thy towers: they hanged their shields upon thy walls round about; they have made thy beauty perfect. 12 Tarshish was thy merchant by reason of the multitude of all kind of riches; with silver, iron, tin, and lead, they traded in thy fairs. 13 Javan, Tubal, and Meshech, they were thy merchants: they traded the persons of men and vessels of brass in thy market. 14 They of the house of Togarmah traded in thy fairs with horses and horsemen and mules. 15 The men of Dedan were thy merchants; many isles were the merchandise of thine hand: they brought thee for a present horns of ivory and ebony. 16 Syria was thy merchant by reason of the multitude of the wares of thy making: they occupied in thy fairs with emeralds, purple, and broidered work, and fine linen, and coral, and agate. 17 Judah, and the land of Israel, they were thy merchants: they traded in thy market wheat of Minnith, and Pannag, and honey, and oil, and balm. 18 Damascus was thy merchant in the multitude of the wares of thy making, for the multitude of all riches; in the wine of Helbon, and white wool. 19 Dan also and Javan going to and fro occupied in thy fairs: bright iron, cassia, and calamus, were in thy market. 20 Dedan was thy merchant in precious clothes for chariots. 21 Arabia, and all the princes of Kedar, they occupied with thee in lambs, and rams, and goats: in these were they thy merchants. 22 The merchants of Sheba and Raamah, they were thy merchants: they occupied in thy fairs with chief of all spices, and with all precious stones, and gold. 23 Haran, and Canneh, and Eden, the merchants of Sheba, Asshur, and Chilmad, were thy merchants. 24 These were thy merchants in all sorts of things , in blue clothes, and broidered work, and in chests of rich apparel, bound with cords, and made of cedar, among thy merchandise. 25 The ships of Tarshish did sing of thee in thy market: and thou wast replenished, and made very glorious in the midst of the seas. 26 Thy rowers have brought thee into great waters: the east wind hath broken thee in the midst of the seas. 27 Thy riches, and thy fairs, thy merchandise, thy mariners, and thy pilots, thy calkers, and the occupiers of thy merchandise, and all thy men of war, that are in thee, and in all thy company which is in the midst of thee, shall fall into the midst of the seas in the day of thy ruin. 28 The suburbs shall shake at the sound of the cry of thy pilots. 29 And all that handle the oar, the mariners, and all the pilots of the sea, shall come down from their ships, they shall stand upon the land; 30 And shall cause their voice to be heard against thee, and shall cry bitterly, and shall cast up dust upon their heads, they shall wallow themselves in the ashes: 31 And they shall make themselves utterly bald for thee, and gird them with sackcloth, and they shall weep for thee with bitterness of heart and bitter wailing. 32 And in their wailing they shall take up a lamentation for thee, and lament over thee, saying , What city is like Tyrus, like the destroyed in the midst of the sea? 33 When thy wares went forth out of the seas, thou filledst many people; thou didst enrich the kings of the earth with the multitude of thy riches and of thy merchandise. 34 In the time when thou shalt be broken by the seas in the depths of the waters thy merchandise and all thy company in the midst of thee shall fall. 35 All the inhabitants of the isles shall be astonished at thee, and their kings shall be sore afraid, they shall be troubled in their countenance. 36 The merchants among the people shall hiss at thee; thou shalt be a terror, and never shalt be any more.
