1An jenem Tag wird der HERR mit seinem harten, großen und starken Schwert heimsuchen den Leviatan[1], die flüchtige Schlange, und den Leviatan[2], die gewundene Schlange, und wird das Ungeheuer erschlagen[3], das im Meer ist[4]. (Hi 26,13; Jes 51,9; Hes 29,3)2An jenem Tag ⟨wird man sagen⟩: Ein prächtiger Weinberg[5]! Besingt ihn! (Ps 80,9; Jes 5,1)3Ich, der HERR, behüte ihn, bewässere ihn alle Augenblicke. Damit ihm nichts zustößt[6], behüte ich ihn Nacht und Tag. (1Kön 8,59; Jes 44,3)4Zorn habe ich nicht. Oh, fände ich Dornen und Disteln ⟨darin⟩, im Kampf würde ich auf sie losgehen, sie allesamt verbrennen! (Jes 37,31; Hos 14,6)7Hat er es geschlagen, wie er die schlug, die es schlugen? Oder ist er ermordet worden, wie seine Mörder[8] ermordet wurden? (Jer 30,11)8Mit Maßen[9], als du es verstießest, hast du mit ihm einen Rechtsstreit geführt. Er trieb es fort[10] mit seinem heftigen Hauch am Tag des Ostwindes. (Ps 103,9; Jes 57,16; Jes 64,5; Kla 3,31)9Wahrlich, dadurch wird die Schuld Jakobs gesühnt werden. Und dies ist die ganze Frucht der Hinwegnahme seiner Sünde: dass es alle Altarsteine zerschlagenen Kalksteinen gleichmachen wird ⟨und Bilder der⟩ Ascherim und Räucheraltäre sich nicht mehr erheben. Dort weidet der Jungstier, und dort lagert er und frisst ihre Zweige kahl. (Jes 24,10)11Wenn ihre Zweige dürr geworden sind, werden sie abgebrochen; Frauen kommen, zünden sie an. Denn es ist kein verständiges Volk. Darum erbarmt sich über sie nicht, der es gemacht hat, und der es gebildet hat, erweist ihm keine Gnade. La vigne du Seigneur
2Ce jour-là, on dira: Chantez la vigne aux beaux raisins[2]. (Jes 5,1)3C’est moi, l’Eternel, qui la garde; en tout temps, je l’arrose. De peur que l’on s’en prenne à elle, nuit et jour je la garde.4Ma colère est passée, et s’il se trouve ╵des ronces, des épines, je marcherai contre elles ╵pour leur faire la guerre et j’y mettrai le feu.5A moins qu’on me prenne ╵pour refuge et rempart, qu’on fasse la paix, oui, la paix avec moi.6Dans les jours à venir, ╵Jacob prendra racine, Israël fleurira ╵et fera des bourgeons, il couvrira de fruits ╵la surface du monde.7L’Eternel les a-t-il frappés ╵comme il a frappé ceux ╵qui leur donnaient des coups? La ville abandonnée
10La cité fortifiée ╵restera solitaire et elle deviendra ╵un camp abandonné ╵et délaissé comme un désert; les veaux y viendront paître, ╵ils s’y reposeront, ils brouteront les branches.11Et quand les branches seront sèches, ╵on viendra les briser, des femmes les feront brûler. Car c’est un peuple sans intelligence; c’est pourquoi celui qui l’a fait ╵n’en aura pas pitié, et celui qui l’a façonné ╵ne lui fera pas grâce.
Le grand retour
12En ce jour-là, l’Eternel secouera les arbres des rives de l’Euphrate jusqu’au torrent d’Egypte. Et vous serez recueillis, vous, Israélites, un à un.13En ce jour-là, le grand cor sonnera, ceux qui dépérissaient en Assyrie et tous ceux qui étaient exilés en Egypte viendront adorer l’Eternel sur la sainte montagne au milieu de Jérusalem.
