1 Halleluja! Singt dem HERRN ein neues Lied, sein Lob in der Gemeinde der Getreuen! (Ps 33,3; Ps 111,1) 2 Israel freue sich seines Schöpfers! Die Kinder Zions sollen jauchzen über ihren König! (Jes 43,15; Zef 3,14; Sach 9,9) 3 Loben sollen sie seinen Namen beim Reigen, mit Tamburin und Zither sollen sie ihm spielen! (Ps 81,3; Ps 87,7; Ps 150,4) 4 Denn der HERR hat Wohlgefallen an seinem Volk. Er schmückt die Demütigen mit Heil^[1]! (Jes 62,4) 5 Die Getreuen sollen jubeln in Herrlichkeit, jauchzen sollen sie auf ihren Lagern! (Hi 35,10; Ps 145,10) 6 Lobpreis^[2] Gottes sei in ihrer Kehle und ein zweischneidiges Schwert in ihrer Hand, 7 um Rache zu vollziehen an den Nationen, Strafgerichte an den Völkerschaften, (Mi 5,14) 8 um ihre Könige zu binden mit Ketten, ihre Edlen mit eisernen Fesseln, 9 um das ⟨schon⟩ aufgeschriebene Gericht an ihnen zu vollziehen! Das ist Ehre für alle seine Getreuen. Halleluja! (5Mo 32,41; Ps 148,14)
