Und wer hat den Staub der Erde mit einem Maß[13] erfasst und die Berge mit der Waage gewogen, die Hügel mit Waagschalen? 1Comfort, comfort my people, says your God. (Jes 51,12; Lk 2,25)2Speak tenderly to Jerusalem, and cry to her that her warfare[1] is ended, that her iniquity is pardoned, that she has received from the Lord’s hand double for all her sins. (2Chr 36,22; Jer 25,12; Hos 2,14)3A voice cries:[2] “In the wilderness prepare the way of the Lord; make straight in the desert a highway for our God.
