Elberfelder Bibel

(5Mo 28,6; Ps 125,2; Ps 131,3)

Psalm 121

New International Version

von Biblica
1 I lift up my eyes to the mountains – where does my help come from?2 My help comes from the Lord, the Maker of heaven and earth.3 He will not let your foot slip – he who watches over you will not slumber;4 indeed, he who watches over Israel will neither slumber nor sleep.5 The Lord watches over you – the Lord is your shade at your right hand;6 the sun will not harm you by day, nor the moon by night.7 The Lord will keep you from all harm – he will watch over your life;8 the Lord will watch over your coming and going both now and for evermore.

Psalm 121

New International Reader’s Version

von Biblica
1 I look up to the mountains. Where does my help come from?2 My help comes from the LORD. He is the Maker of heaven and earth.3 He won’t let your foot slip. He who watches over you won’t get tired.4 In fact, he who watches over Israel won’t get tired or go to sleep.5 The LORD watches over you. The LORD is like a shady tree at your right hand.6 The sun won’t harm you during the day. The moon won’t harm you during the night.7 The LORD will keep you from every kind of harm. He will watch over your life.8 The LORD will watch over your life no matter where you go, both now and for ever.

Psalm 121

King James Version

1 A Song of degrees. I will lift up mine eyes unto the hills, from whence cometh my help.2 My help cometh from the LORD, which made heaven and earth.3 He will not suffer thy foot to be moved: he that keepeth thee will not slumber.4 Behold, he that keepeth Israel shall neither slumber nor sleep.5 The LORD is thy keeper: the LORD is thy shade upon thy right hand.6 The sun shall not smite thee by day, nor the moon by night.7 The LORD shall preserve thee from all evil: he shall preserve thy soul.8 The LORD shall preserve thy going out and thy coming in from this time forth, and even for evermore.
