1Ein Mann aber mit Namen Hananias, mit Saphira, seiner Frau, verkaufte ein Gut2und schaffte von dem Kaufpreis beiseite, wovon auch die Frau wusste; und er brachte einen Teil und legte ihn nieder zu den Füßen der Apostel. (Apg 4,35)3Petrus aber sprach: Hananias, warum hat der Satan dein Herz erfüllt, dass du den Heiligen Geist belogen und von dem Kaufpreis des Feldes beiseitegeschafft hast? (Joh 13,2; Eph 4,30)4Blieb es nicht dein, wenn es ⟨unverkauft⟩ blieb, und war es nicht, nachdem es verkauft war, in deiner Verfügung[1]? Warum hast du dir diese Tat in deinem Herzen vorgenommen? Krankenheilungen durch die Apostel
12Aber durch die Hände der Apostel geschahen viele Zeichen und Wunder unter dem Volk; und sie waren alle einmütig in der Säulenhalle Salomos. (Mk 16,20; Apg 2,43; Apg 3,11)13Von den Übrigen aber wagte keiner, sich ihnen anzuschließen, doch das Volk rühmte sie.14Aber umso mehr wurden ⟨solche⟩, die an den Herrn glaubten, hinzugetan, Scharen von Männern und auch Frauen, (Apg 2,47)15sodass sie die Kranken auf die Straßen hinaustrugen und auf Betten und Lager legten, damit, wenn Petrus käme, auch nur sein Schatten einen von ihnen überschattete. (Apg 19,11)16Es kam aber auch die Menge aus den Städten um Jerusalem zusammen, und sie brachten Kranke und von unreinen Geistern Geplagte, die alle geheilt wurden. Gefangennahme und Befreiung der Apostel
17Der Hohe Priester aber trat auf und alle, die mit ihm waren, nämlich die Sekte der Sadduzäer[3], und wurden von Eifersucht[4] erfüllt; (Apg 4,1)18und sie legten Hand an die Apostel und setzten sie in öffentlichen Gewahrsam. (Apg 4,3)19Ein Engel des Herrn aber öffnete während der Nacht die Türen des Gefängnisses und führte sie hinaus und sprach: (Apg 8,26; Apg 10,3; Apg 12,7; Apg 12,10; Hebr 1,14)20Geht und stellt euch hin und redet im Tempel zu dem Volk alle Worte dieses Lebens! (Joh 6,68)21Als sie es aber gehört hatten, gingen sie frühmorgens in den Tempel und lehrten. Zeugnis der Apostel vor dem Hohen Rat
27Sie führten sie aber herbei und stellten sie vor den Hohen Rat; und der Hohe Priester befragte sie28und sprach: Wir haben euch streng geboten, in diesem Namen nicht zu lehren, und siehe, ihr habt Jerusalem mit eurer Lehre erfüllt und wollt das Blut dieses Menschen auf uns bringen. (Mt 27,25; Apg 4,18)29Petrus und die Apostel aber antworteten und sprachen: Man muss Gott mehr gehorchen als Menschen. (Apg 4,19)30Der Gott unserer Väter hat Jesus auferweckt, den ihr ermordet habt, indem ihr ihn ans Holz hängtet. (5Mo 21,22; Apg 2,24; Apg 3,13)31Diesen hat Gott durch seine Rechte zum Führer[6] und Retter erhöht, um Israel Buße und Vergebung der Sünden zu geben. (Lk 24,47; Apg 2,33; Apg 4,12; Apg 10,43; Apg 13,38; Apg 26,18)32Und wir sind Zeugen von diesen Dingen[7] und der Heilige Geist, den Gott denen gegeben hat, die ihm gehorchen. Rat des Gamaliel
34Es stand aber im Hohen Rat ein Pharisäer[9] mit Namen Gamaliel auf, ein Gesetzesgelehrter, angesehen bei dem ganzen Volk, und befahl, die Leute für kurze Zeit hinauszutun. (Apg 22,3)35Und er sprach zu ihnen: Männer von Israel[10], seht euch bei diesen Menschen vor, was ihr tun wollt!36Denn vor diesen Tagen stand Theudas auf und sagte, dass er selbst etwas sei, dem eine Anzahl von etwa vierhundert Männern anhing; der ist getötet worden, und alle, die ihm Gehör gaben, sind zerstreut und zunichtegeworden.37Nach diesem stand Judas der Galiläer auf, in den Tagen der Einschreibung[11], und machte ⟨eine Menge⟩ Volk abtrünnig ⟨und brachte sie⟩ hinter sich; auch der kam um, und alle, die ihm Gehör gaben, wurden zerstreut. (Mt 24,11; Lk 2,2)38Und jetzt sage ich euch: Lasst ab von diesen Menschen und lasst sie ⟨laufen⟩! Denn wenn dieser Rat oder dieses Werk aus Menschen ist, so wird es zugrunde gehen; (Mt 15,13)39wenn es aber aus Gott ist, so werdet ihr sie nicht zugrunde richten können; damit ihr nicht gar als solche befunden werdet, die gegen Gott streiten. Und sie gaben ihm Gehör.
Freilassung der Apostel
40Und als sie die Apostel herbeigerufen hatten, schlugen sie sie[12] und geboten ihnen, nicht im Namen Jesu zu reden, und entließen sie. (Mk 13,9; Apg 4,18)41Sie nun gingen aus dem Hohen Rat fort, voller Freude, dass sie gewürdigt worden waren, für den Namen Schmach zu leiden; (Mt 5,11; Röm 5,3; 2Kor 12,10; Phil 1,29; 1Petr 4,13)42und sie hörten nicht auf, jeden Tag im Tempel und in den Häusern zu lehren und Jesus als den Christus zu verkündigen[13]. Many Signs and Wonders Done
12Now many signs and wonders were regularly done among the people by the hands of the apostles. And they were all together in Solomon’s Portico. (Mk 16,20; Joh 10,23; Apg 1,14; Apg 2,43; Apg 3,11; Apg 4,30; Apg 14,3; Apg 19,11; Röm 15,19; 2Kor 12,12; Hebr 2,4)13None of the rest dared join them, but the people held them in high esteem. (Apg 2,47; Apg 4,21; Apg 5,26)14And more than ever believers were added to the Lord, multitudes of both men and women, (Apg 6,1; Apg 6,2)15so that they even carried out the sick into the streets and laid them on cots and mats, that as Peter came by at least his shadow might fall on some of them. (2Kön 4,29; Mt 14,36; Mk 6,55; Mk 6,56; Apg 19,12)16The people also gathered from the towns around Jerusalem, bringing the sick and those afflicted with unclean spirits, and they were all healed. The Apostles Arrested and Freed
17But the high priest rose up, and all who were with him (that is, the party of the Sadducees), and filled with jealousy (Mt 22,23; Apg 7,9; Apg 13,45; Apg 17,5; Jak 3,14; Jak 3,16)18they arrested the apostles and put them in the public prison. E una volta venduto, il ricavato non era a tua disposizione? Perché ti sei messo in cuore questa cosa? Tu non hai mentito agli uomini, ma a Dio».5Anania, udendo queste parole, cadde e spirò. E un gran timore prese tutti quelli che lo udirono.6I giovani, alzatisi, ne avvolsero il corpo e, portatolo fuori, lo seppellirono.7Circa tre ore dopo sua moglie, non sapendo ciò che era accaduto, entrò.8E Pietro, rivolgendosi a lei: «Dimmi», le disse, «avete venduto il podere per tanto?» Ed ella rispose: «Sì, per tanto».9Allora Pietro le disse: «Perché vi siete accordati a tentare lo Spirito del Signore? Numerosi miracoli a Gerusalemme

Arresto degli apostoli
17Il sommo sacerdote e tutti quelli che erano con lui, cioè la setta dei sadducei, si alzarono, pieni di invidia,18e misero le mani sopra gli apostoli e li gettarono nella prigione pubblica.19Ma un angelo del Signore, nella notte, aprì le porte della prigione e, condottili fuori, disse:20«Andate, presentatevi nel tempio e annunciate al popolo tutte le parole di questa vita».21Essi, udito ciò, entrarono sul far del giorno nel tempio, e insegnavano. 33Ma essi, udendo queste cose, fremevano d’ira e si proponevano di ucciderli.34Ma un fariseo[2] di nome Gamaliele, dottore della legge, onorato da tutto il popolo, alzatosi in piedi nel sinedrio comandò che gli apostoli venissero un momento allontanati.35Poi disse loro: «Uomini d’Israele, badate bene a quello che state per fare circa questi uomini.36Poiché, prima d’ora, sorse Teuda, dicendo di essere qualcuno; presso di lui si raccolsero circa quattrocento uomini; egli fu ucciso, e tutti quelli che gli avevano dato ascolto furono dispersi e ridotti a nulla.37Dopo di lui sorse Giuda il Galileo, ai giorni del censimento, e si trascinò dietro della gente; anch’egli perì, e tutti quelli che gli avevano dato ascolto furono dispersi.38E ora vi dico: tenetevi lontani questi uomini e lasciateli stare; perché, se questo disegno o quest’opera è dagli uomini, sarà distrutta;39ma se è da Dio, voi non potrete distruggerli, se non volete trovarvi a combattere anche contro Dio».40Essi furono da lui convinti; e chiamati gli apostoli, li batterono, ingiunsero loro di non parlare nel nome di Gesù e li lasciarono andare.41Essi dunque se ne andarono via dal sinedrio, rallegrandosi di essere stati ritenuti degni di essere oltraggiati per il nome di Gesù.42E ogni giorno, nel tempio e per le case, non cessavano di insegnare e di portare il lieto messaggio che Gesù è il Cristo.
