1Liebe erfüllt mich, denn der HERR hört mein lautes Flehen.2Ja, er wendet mir sein Ohr zu und ich werde ihn anrufen, solange ich lebe.3Umschlungen hatten mich die Fesseln des Todes und die Unterwelt wollte mich verschlingen, Not und Kummer erfassten mich.4Da rief ich den Namen des HERRN an: »Ach, HERR, rette doch meine Seele!«5Voller Gnade ist der HERR und gerecht, ja, unser Gott ist voll Barmherzigkeit.6Der HERR beschützt die Unmündigen. Als ich hilflos war, hat er mir geholfen.7Beruhige dich doch wieder, meine Seele! Denn der HERR hat dich mit Gutem versorgt.8Ja, du hast meine Seele vor dem Tod bewahrt und mein Auge vor den Tränen, meinen Fuß vor dem Stolpern.9Ich werde mein Leben führen vor dem HERR unter den Menschen, die lebendig sind.10Ich habe weiter vertraut, auch wenn ich wusste: Ich habe viel gelitten.11Voll Bestürzung sagte ich: »Alle Menschen sind Lügner!«12Was soll ich dem HERRN zurückgeben für all das Gute, das er für mich getan hat?13Den Becher des Heils will ich erheben und den Namen des HERRN anrufen.14Was ich dem HERRN versprochen habe, will ich halten, ja, vor seinem ganzen Volk.15Wertvoll in den Augen des HERRN ist der Tod seiner treuen Freunde.16Ach, HERR, ich bin doch dein Diener. Ich bin dein Diener, der Sohn deiner Dienerin! Von meinen Fesseln hast du mich befreit.17Dir will ich Dankopfer bringen, ja, den Namen des HERRN will ich anrufen.18Was ich dem HERRN versprochen habe, will ich halten, ja, vor seinem ganzen Volk,19in den Innenhöfen des Hauses des HERRN, in deiner Mitte, Jerusalem.
