1A Psalm. A Song for the Sabbath. It is good to give thanks to the Lord, to sing praises to your name, O Most High; (创14:19; 诗71:22; 诗147:1)2to declare your steadfast love in the morning, and your faithfulness by night, (诗36:5; 诗119:147)3to the music of the lute and the harp, to the melody of the lyre. (诗33:2)4For you, O Lord, have made me glad by your work; at the works of your hands I sing for joy. (诗8:6; 诗90:16)5How great are your works, O Lord! Your thoughts are very deep! (诗36:6; 诗40:5; 诗111:2; 诗139:17; 羅11:33; 启15:3)6The stupid man cannot know; the fool cannot understand this:7that though the wicked sprout like grass and all evildoers flourish, they are doomed to destruction forever; (伯21:7; 诗94:4; 诗125:5)8but you, O Lord, are on high forever. (诗93:4)9For behold, your enemies, O Lord, for behold, your enemies shall perish; all evildoers shall be scattered. (诗68:1)10But you have exalted my horn like that of the wild ox; you have poured over me[1] fresh oil. (民23:22; 撒上2:1; 诗23:5; 诗75:10)11My eyes have seen the downfall of my enemies; my ears have heard the doom of my evil assailants. (诗37:34; 诗54:7)12The righteous flourish like the palm tree and grow like a cedar in Lebanon. (民24:6; 诗1:3; 诗52:8; 诗72:7; 箴11:28; 赛61:3; 何14:5)13They are planted in the house of the Lord; they flourish in the courts of our God. (诗100:4; 诗116:19; 诗135:2)14They still bear fruit in old age; they are ever full of sap and green,15to declare that the Lord is upright; he is my rock, and there is no unrighteousness in him. (伯34:10; 诗18:2; 诗58:11)
