1 基 督 耶 稣 的 仆 人 保 罗 和 提 摩 太 写 信 给 凡 住 腓 立 比 、 在 基 督 耶 稣 里 的 众 圣 徒 ， 和 诸 位 监 督 ， 诸 位 执 事 。 2 愿 恩 惠 、 平 安 从 神 我 们 的 父 并 主 耶 稣 基 督 归 与 你 们 ！ 3 我 每 逢 想 念 你 们 ， 就 感 谢 我 的 神 ； 4 每 逢 为 你 们 众 人 祈 求 的 时 候 ， 常 是 欢 欢 喜 喜 的 祈 求 。 5 因 为 从 头 一 天 直 到 如 今 ， 你 们 是 同 心 合 意 的 兴 旺 福 音 。 6 我 深 信 那 在 你 们 心 里 动 了 善 工 的 ， 必 成 全 这 工 ， 直 到 耶 稣 基 督 的 日 子 。 7 我 为 你 们 众 人 有 这 样 的 意 念 ， 原 是 应 当 的 ； 因 你 们 常 在 我 心 里 ， 无 论 我 是 在 捆 锁 之 中 ， 是 辩 明 证 实 福 音 的 时 候 ， 你 们 都 与 我 一 同 得 恩 。 8 我 体 会 基 督 耶 稣 的 心 肠 ， 切 切 的 想 念 你 们 众 人 ； 这 是 神 可 以 给 我 作 见 证 的 。 9 我 所 祷 告 的 ， 就 是 要 你 们 的 爱 心 在 知 识 和 各 样 见 识 上 多 而 又 多 ， 10 使 你 们 能 分 别 是 非 （ 或 作 ： 喜 爱 那 美 好 的 事 ） ， 作 诚 实 无 过 的 人 ， 直 到 基 督 的 日 子 ； 11 并 靠 着 耶 稣 基 督 结 满 了 仁 义 的 果 子 ， 叫 荣 耀 称 赞 归 与 神 。 12 弟 兄 们 ， 我 愿 意 你 们 知 道 ， 我 所 遭 遇 的 事 更 是 叫 福 音 兴 旺 ， 13 以 致 我 受 的 捆 锁 在 御 营 全 军 和 其 馀 的 人 中 ， 已 经 显 明 是 为 基 督 的 缘 故 。 14 并 且 那 在 主 里 的 弟 兄 多 半 因 我 受 的 捆 锁 就 笃 信 不 疑 ， 越 发 放 胆 传 神 的 道 ， 无 所 惧 怕 。 15 有 的 传 基 督 是 出 於 嫉 妒 纷 争 ， 也 有 的 是 出 於 好 意 。 16 这 一 等 是 出 於 爱 心 ， 知 道 我 是 为 辩 明 福 音 设 立 的 ； 17 那 一 等 传 基 督 是 出 於 结 党 ， 并 不 诚 实 ， 意 思 要 加 增 我 捆 锁 的 苦 楚 。 18 这 有 何 妨 呢 ？ 或 是 假 意 ， 或 是 真 心 ， 无 论 怎 样 ， 基 督 究 竟 被 传 开 了 。 为 此 ， 我 就 欢 喜 ， 并 且 还 要 欢 喜 ； 19 因 为 我 知 道 ， 这 事 藉 着 你 们 的 祈 祷 和 耶 稣 基 督 之 灵 的 帮 助 ， 终 必 叫 我 得 救 。 20 照 着 我 所 切 慕 、 所 盼 望 的 ， 没 有 一 事 叫 我 羞 愧 。 只 要 凡 事 放 胆 ， 无 论 是 生 是 死 ， 总 叫 基 督 在 我 身 上 照 常 显 大 。 21 因 我 活 着 就 是 基 督 ， 我 死 了 就 有 益 处 。 22 但 我 在 肉 身 活 着 ， 若 成 就 我 工 夫 的 果 子 ， 我 就 不 知 道 该 挑 选 甚 麽 。 23 我 正 在 两 难 之 间 ， 情 愿 离 世 与 基 督 同 在 ， 因 为 这 是 好 得 无 比 的 。 24 然 而 ， 我 在 肉 身 活 着 ， 为 你 们 更 是 要 紧 的 。 25 我 既 然 这 样 深 信 ， 就 知 道 仍 要 住 在 世 间 ， 且 与 你 们 众 人 同 住 ， 使 你 们 在 所 信 的 道 上 又 长 进 又 喜 乐 ， 26 叫 你 们 在 基 督 耶 稣 里 的 欢 乐 ， 因 我 再 到 你 们 那 里 去 ， 就 越 发 加 增 。 27 只 要 你 们 行 事 为 人 与 基 督 的 福 音 相 称 ， 叫 我 或 来 见 你 们 ， 或 不 在 你 们 那 里 ， 可 以 听 见 你 们 的 景 况 ， 知 道 你 们 同 有 一 个 心 志 ， 站 立 得 稳 ， 为 所 信 的 福 音 齐 心 努 力 。 28 凡 事 不 怕 敌 人 的 惊 吓 ， 这 是 证 明 他 们 沉 沦 ， 你 们 得 救 都 是 出 於 神 。 29 因 为 你 们 蒙 恩 ， 不 但 得 以 信 服 基 督 ， 并 要 为 他 受 苦 。 30 你 们 的 争 战 ， 就 与 你 们 在 我 身 上 从 前 所 看 见 、 现 在 所 听 见 的 一 样 。

1 Paul and Timothy, servants[1] of Christ Jesus, To all the saints in Christ Jesus who are at Philippi, with the overseers[2] and deacons:[3] (徒20:28; 林后1:1; 西1:2; 提前3:8; 提前3:12) 2 Grace to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ. (羅1:7; 林前1:3) 3 I thank my God in all my remembrance of you, (羅1:8; 羅1:9; 弗1:16; 提后1:3) 4 always in every prayer of mine for you all making my prayer with joy, 5 because of your partnership in the gospel from the first day until now. (徒16:12; 腓2:12; 腓4:15) 6 And I am sure of this, that he who began a good work in you will bring it to completion at the day of Jesus Christ. (诗57:2; 诗138:8; 林前1:8; 帖前1:3; 帖前5:24) 7 It is right for me to feel this way about you all, because I hold you in my heart, for you are all partakers with me of grace,[4] both in my imprisonment and in the defense and confirmation of the gospel. (徒20:23; 徒26:29; 林后7:3; 弗3:1; 腓1:16; 腓4:14; 西4:18; 提后2:9; 门1:10; 门1:13) 8 For God is my witness, how I yearn for you all with the affection of Christ Jesus. (羅1:9; 羅1:11; 羅9:1; 羅15:23; 腓4:1; 帖前3:6; 提后1:4) 9 And it is my prayer that your love may abound more and more, with knowledge and all discernment, (西1:9; 西3:10; 帖前3:12; 帖后1:3; 门1:6) 10 so that you may approve what is excellent, and so be pure and blameless for the day of Christ, (徒24:16; 腓1:6; 帖前3:13; 帖前5:23) 11 filled with the fruit of righteousness that comes through Jesus Christ, to the glory and praise of God. (约15:4; 弗1:12; 弗1:14; 西1:6; 西1:10; 雅3:18) 12 I want you to know, brothers,[5] that what has happened to me has really served to advance the gospel, (腓1:25; 提前4:15) 13 so that it has become known throughout the whole imperial guard[6] and to all the rest that my imprisonment is for Christ. (路21:13; 徒28:30; 腓1:7; 提后2:9) 14 And most of the brothers, having become confident in the Lord by my imprisonment, are much more bold to speak the word[7] without fear. (徒4:31) 15 Some indeed preach Christ from envy and rivalry, but others from good will. (林后11:13) 16 The latter do it out of love, knowing that I am put here for the defense of the gospel. (林前9:17; 腓1:7) 17 The former proclaim Christ out of selfish ambition, not sincerely but thinking to afflict me in my imprisonment. (腓2:3; 雅3:14) 18 What then? Only that in every way, whether in pretense or in truth, Christ is proclaimed, and in that I rejoice. Yes, and I will rejoice, 19 for I know that through your prayers and the help of the Spirit of Jesus Christ this will turn out for my deliverance, (徒16:7; 林后1:11; 加3:5) 20 as it is my eager expectation and hope that I will not be at all ashamed, but that with full courage now as always Christ will be honored in my body, whether by life or by death. (珥2:27; 徒4:13; 羅5:5; 羅14:8; 林前6:20; 提后2:15) 21 For to me to live is Christ, and to die is gain. (加2:20) 22 If I am to live in the flesh, that means fruitful labor for me. Yet which I shall choose I cannot tell. 23 I am hard pressed between the two. My desire is to depart and be with Christ, for that is far better. (约12:26; 林后5:8; 提后4:6) 24 But to remain in the flesh is more necessary on your account. 25 Convinced of this, I know that I will remain and continue with you all, for your progress and joy in the faith, (徒20:25; 羅15:13; 腓1:12; 腓2:24) 26 so that in me you may have ample cause to glory in Christ Jesus, because of my coming to you again. (林后1:14) 27 Only let your manner of life be worthy[8] of the gospel of Christ, so that whether I come and see you or am absent, I may hear of you that you are standing firm in one spirit, with one mind striving side by side for the faith of the gospel, (林前1:10; 林前16:13; 弗4:1; 腓2:2; 腓3:20; 犹1:3) 28 and not frightened in anything by your opponents. This is a clear sign to them of their destruction, but of your salvation, and that from God. (徒14:22; 帖后1:5) 29 For it has been granted to you that for the sake of Christ you should not only believe in him but also suffer for his sake, (太5:12; 腓1:28) 30 engaged in the same conflict that you saw I had and now hear that I still have. (徒16:19; 西1:29; 西2:1; 帖前2:2; 提前6:12; 提后4:7; 來10:32)
