1 我 儿 ， 要 留 心 我 智 慧 的 话 语 ， 侧 耳 听 我 聪 明 的 言 词 ， 2 为 要 使 你 谨 守 谋 略 ， 嘴 唇 保 存 知 识 。 3 因 为 淫 妇 的 嘴 滴 下 蜂 蜜 ； 他 的 口 比 油 更 滑 ， 4 至 终 却 苦 似 茵 ? ， 快 如 两 刃 的 刀 。 5 他 的 脚 下 入 死 地 ； 他 脚 步 踏 住 阴 间 ， 6 以 致 他 找 不 着 生 命 平 坦 的 道 。 他 的 路 变 迁 不 定 ， 自 己 还 不 知 道 。 7 众 子 啊 ， 现 在 要 听 从 我 ； 不 可 离 弃 我 口 中 的 话 。 8 你 所 行 的 道 要 离 他 远 ， 不 可 就 近 他 的 房 门 ， 9 恐 怕 将 你 的 尊 荣 给 别 人 ， 将 你 的 岁 月 给 残 忍 的 人 ； 10 恐 怕 外 人 满 得 你 的 力 量 ， 你 劳 碌 得 来 的 ， 归 入 外 人 的 家 ； 11 终 久 ， 你 皮 肉 和 身 体 消 毁 ， 你 就 悲 叹 ， 12 说 ： 我 怎 麽 恨 恶 训 诲 ， 心 中 藐 视 责 备 ， 13 也 不 听 从 我 师 傅 的 话 ， 又 不 侧 耳 听 那 教 训 我 的 人 ？ 14 我 在 圣 会 里 ， 几 乎 落 在 诸 般 恶 中 。 15 你 要 喝 自 己 池 中 的 水 ， 饮 自 己 井 里 的 活 水 。 16 你 的 泉 源 岂 可 涨 溢 在 外 ？ 你 的 河 水 岂 可 流 在 街 上 ？ 17 惟 独 归 你 一 人 ， 不 可 与 外 人 同 用 。 18 要 使 你 的 泉 源 蒙 福 ； 要 喜 悦 你 幼 年 所 娶 的 妻 。 19 他 如 可 爱 的 ? 鹿 ， 可 喜 的 母 鹿 ； 愿 他 的 胸 怀 使 你 时 时 知 足 ， 他 的 爱 情 使 你 常 常 恋 慕 。 20 我 儿 ， 你 为 何 恋 慕 淫 妇 ？ 为 何 抱 外 女 的 胸 怀 ？ 21 因 为 ， 人 所 行 的 道 都 在 耶 和 华 眼 前 ； 他 也 修 平 人 一 切 的 路 。 22 恶 人 必 被 自 己 的 罪 孽 捉 住 ； 他 必 被 自 己 的 罪 恶 如 绳 索 缠 绕 。 23 他 因 不 受 训 诲 就 必 死 亡 ； 又 因 愚 昧 过 甚 ， 必 走 差 了 路 。

1 My son, be attentive to my wisdom; incline your ear to my understanding, (箴2:1; 箴4:20; 箴22:17) 2 that you may keep discretion, and your lips may guard knowledge. (箴1:4; 玛2:7) 3 For the lips of a forbidden[1] woman drip honey, and her speech[2] is smoother than oil, (诗55:21; 箴2:16) 4 but in the end she is bitter as wormwood, sharp as a two-edged sword. (申29:18; 诗55:21; 诗57:4; 诗149:6; 传7:26; 耶9:15; 哀3:15; 哀3:19; 启8:11) 5 Her feet go down to death; her steps follow the path to[3] Sheol; (箴7:27) 6 she does not ponder the path of life; her ways wander, and she does not know it. (箴4:26; 箴5:21) 7 And now, O sons, listen to me, and do not depart from the words of my mouth. (箴4:1) 8 Keep your way far from her, and do not go near the door of her house, 9 lest you give your honor to others and your years to the merciless, 10 lest strangers take their fill of your strength, and your labors go to the house of a foreigner, (诗127:2) 11 and at the end of your life you groan, when your flesh and body are consumed, (结24:23) 12 and you say, “How I hated discipline, and my heart despised reproof! (诗107:11; 箴1:22; 箴1:25; 箴1:29; 箴12:1) 13 I did not listen to the voice of my teachers or incline my ear to my instructors. 14 I am at the brink of utter ruin in the assembled congregation.” (诗94:17) 15 Drink water from your own cistern, flowing water from your own well. (箴5:18; 箴9:17; 歌4:12; 歌4:15; 耶2:13) 16 Should your springs be scattered abroad, streams of water in the streets? (诗68:26; 耶9:21; 亚8:5) 17 Let them be for yourself alone, and not for strangers with you. (箴14:10) 18 Let your fountain be blessed, and rejoice in the wife of your youth, (申24:5; 箴5:15; 玛2:14) 19 a lovely deer, a graceful doe. Let her breasts fill you at all times with delight; be intoxicated[4] always in her love. (歌2:9; 歌2:17; 歌8:14; 耶31:14) 20 Why should you be intoxicated, my son, with a forbidden woman and embrace the bosom of an adulteress?[5] (箴2:16) 21 For a man’s ways are before the eyes of the Lord, and he ponders[6] all his paths. (伯14:16; 诗11:4; 诗119:168; 箴5:6; 何7:2; 來4:13) 22 The iniquities of the wicked ensnare him, and he is held fast in the cords of his sin. (诗7:15; 箴6:2) 23 He dies for lack of discipline, and because of his great folly he is led astray. (伯4:21; 伯12:24)
