— Hospodin přemůže livjátana - Livjátan, obraz protibožského nepřátelství, bude přemožen.
1 V onen den Hospodin ztrestá svým tvrdým, velkým a pevným mečem livjátana, hada útočného, livjátana, hada svinutého; zabije draka v moři.
— Hospodin a jeho vinice - Hospodinova vinice začala přinášet úrodu. Vina jeho lidu je usmířena.
2 V onen den zpívejte o vinici, jež dává ohnivé víno. 3 „Já, Hospodin, ji střežím, každou chvíli ji zavlažuji. Aby ji nic nepostihlo, nocí dnem ji budu střežit. 4 Rozhořčen už na ni nejsem. Kdyby mi dávala bodláčí a křoví, zvedl bych proti ní boj a rázem bych ji spálil. 5 Ať se chopí mé záštity a uzavře se mnou pokoj, ať se mnou uzavře pokoj. 6 Přijdou dny, kdy Jákob zapustí kořeny, kdy bude pučet a rozkvete Izrael a naplní tvář světa svými plody.“ 7 Bil ho snad Bůh, jako bil ty, kdo bili jeho? Byl snad zavražděn jako jiní, kdo jím byli zavražděni? 8 Vyhnal jsi ji, vyhostils ji, tak jsi s ní vedl spor. Odklidil ji svým ostrým větrem, když zavál od východu. 9 Právě tím bude usmířena Jákobova nepravost. Až z něho sejme hřích, vydá toto ovoce: se všemi kameny oltáře naloží jako s kusy vápence, které se roztloukají. Nezůstanou stát posvátné kůly ani kadidlové oltáříky. 10 Opevněné město zpustne, bude jak bydliště zavržené a poušť opuštěná; bude se tam pást býček, odpočívat tam a spásat jeho ratolesti. 11 Až jeho snítky uschnou a polámou se, přijdou ženy a spálí je. Ten lid nic nechápe; proto ten, který jej učinil, se nad ním neslituje, jeho Tvůrce se nad ním nesmiluje.

12 I stane se v onen den, že Hospodin vymlátí klasy od Řeky až k potoku Egyptskému; to vy, synové Izraelovi, budete sbíráni jeden po druhém. 13 V onen den zaduje na velikou polnici a přijdou ti, kdo bloudí bez domova v zemi asyrské, i ti, kdo byli vyhnáni do egyptské země, a budou se klanět Hospodinu na svaté hoře v Jeruzalémě.
