ZAPLESEJTE, SPRAVEDLIVÍ, HOSPODINU

1 Zaplesejte, spravedliví, Hospodinu, přímým lidem sluší se ho chválit. 2 Hospodinu vzdejte chválu při citeře, zpívejte mu žalmy s harfou o deseti strunách. 3 Zpívejte mu novou píseň, hrejte dobře za hlaholu polnic. 4 Neboť slovo Hospodinovo je přímé, v každém svém díle je věrný. 5 Miluje spravedlnost a právo, Hospodinova milosrdenství je plná země. 6 Nebesa byla učiněna Hospodinovým slovem, dechem jeho úst pak všechen jejich zástup. 7 Jako hrází drží pohromadě mořské vody, vodstva propastí uložil v zásobnicích. 8 Boj se Hospodina, celá země, všichni obyvatelé světa, žijte v jeho bázni! 9 Co on řekl, to se stalo, jak přikázal, tak vše stojí. 10 Záměry národů Hospodin maří, lidem úmysly hatí. 11 Záměry Hospodinovy platí věčně, úmysly jeho srdce po všechna pokolení. 12 Blaze národu, jemuž je Hospodin Bohem, lidu, jejž si zvolil za dědictví. 13 Hospodin se dívá z nebe, vidí všechny lidské syny, 14 ze svého pevného trůnu shlíží na všechny, kdo obývají zemi. 15 On utvořil srdce každého z nich, on též rozumí všem jejich skutkům. 16 Král se nezachrání velkým vojskem, rek se nevyprostí velkou zmužilostí. 17 Selže kůň, k záchraně nepostačí, velkou silou svou k úniku nepomůže. 18 Ale oko Hospodinovo bdí nad těmi, kdo se ho bojí, nad těmi, kdo čekají na jeho milosrdenství, 19 aby ze smrti je vysvobodil, naživu je zachoval v čas hladu. 20 Naše duše s touhou vzhlíží k Hospodinu, on je naše pomoc, náš štít. 21 Z něho se raduje naše srdce, my doufáme v jeho svaté jméno. 22 Tvoje milosrdenství buď, Hospodine, s námi; na tebe s důvěrou čekáme!
