1 И чух от храма висок глас да казва на седемте ангела: „Идете и излейте на земята седемте чаши с Божия гняв.“ (Отк 8:6) 2 Отиде първият ангел и изля своята чаша на земята. И ето – болезнени и тежки рани се появиха по хората, които имаха белега на звяра и се покланяха на изображението му. (Изх 9:10; Отк 13:16) 3 Вторият ангел изля своята чаша в морето. И ето – то се превърна в кръв, като кръвта на мъртво тяло; и измряха всички живи същества в морето. (Изх 7:14; Отк 8:8) 4 Третият ангел изля чашата си в реките и във водните извори. И ето – те се превърнаха в кръв. (Пс 78:44; Отк 8:10; Отк 11:6) 5 Тогава чух ангела на водите да казва: „Справедливо е, пресвети Господи, Който си и Който беше, че така отсъди, (Отк 1:4; Отк 11:17) 6 понеже те проляха кръв на вярващи и пророци, затова и Ти им даде кръв да пият – те заслужават това.“ (Ис 49:26; Отк 18:24) 7 И чух друг да говори от жертвеника: „Да, Господи, Боже Вседържителю, истинни и справедливи са Твоите присъди.“ (Отк 19:2) 8 Четвъртият ангел изля чашата си върху слънцето. И ето – даде му се да обгаря с огън хората. (Отк 8:12) 9 И силна жега обгори хората, а те похулиха името на Бога, Който имаше власт над тези наказания, и не се покаяха, за да Му въздадат слава. (Отк 9:20) 10 Петият ангел изля чашата си върху престола на звяра. Тогава мрак покри неговото царство, хората хапеха езика си от болка (Изх 10:21; Ис 8:22; Отк 9:1) 11 и похулиха Небесния Бог поради болките и раните си, но не се покаяха за делата си. 12 Шестият ангел изля чашата си в голямата река Ефрат. И ето – пресъхна водата и, за да се приготви пътят за царете, идващи от изток. (Ис 11:15) 13 И видях да излизат от устата на змея и на звяра, както и от устата на лъжепророка, три нечисти духа, подобни на жаби – 14 това са бесовски духове, които вършат знамения. И ето – от престола на небесния храм се раздаде висок глас: „Свърши се!“ (Ис 66:6; Отк 21:6) 18 И се появиха светкавици и гръмотевични трясъци, и започна силен трус – такъв голям и силен трус, какъвто не е ставал, откакто има хора на земята. (Изх 19:16; Отк 4:5; Отк 6:12; Отк 8:5; Отк 11:13; Отк 11:19) 19 Великият град се раздели на три части, а градовете на всички народи бяха разрушени. 1 Then I heard a loud voice from the temple telling the seven angels, “Go and pour out on the earth the seven bowls of the wrath of God.” (Пс 79:6; Ер 10:25; Соф 3:8; Отк 15:1; Отк 15:7) 2 So the first angel went and poured out his bowl on the earth, and harmful and painful sores came upon the people who bore the mark of the beast and worshiped its image. (Изх 9:9; Отк 13:16; Отк 16:11) 3 The second angel poured out his bowl into the sea, and it became like the blood of a corpse, and every living thing died that was in the sea. (Отк 8:8; Отк 8:9) 4 The third angel poured out his bowl into the rivers and the springs of water, and they became blood. (Изх 7:17; Отк 8:10) 5 And I heard the angel in charge of the waters[1] say, “Just are you, O Holy One, who is and who was, for you brought these judgments. (Ер 12:1; Йн 17:25; Отк 1:4; Отк 1:8; Отк 4:8; Отк 11:17; Отк 15:4) 6 For they have shed the blood of saints and prophets, and you have given them blood to drink. It is what they deserve!” (Ис 49:26; Лк 11:49; Отк 11:18; Отк 13:15; Отк 18:24) 7 And I heard the altar saying, “Yes, Lord God the Almighty, true and just are your judgments!” (Пс 119:137; Отк 6:9; Отк 15:3; Отк 19:2) 8 The fourth angel poured out his bowl on the sun, and it was allowed to scorch people with fire. (Отк 9:17; Отк 14:18) 9 They were scorched by the fierce heat, and they cursed[2] the name of God who had power over these plagues. They did not repent and give him glory. (Дан 5:22; Дан 5:23; Отк 2:21; Отк 11:13; Отк 16:11; Отк 16:21) 10 The fifth angel poured out his bowl on the throne of the beast, and its kingdom was plunged into darkness. People gnawed their tongues in anguish (Изх 10:21; Отк 9:2; Отк 13:2) 11 and cursed the God of heaven for their pain and sores. They did not repent of their deeds. (Отк 2:21; Отк 11:13; Отк 16:2) 12 The sixth angel poured out his bowl on the great river Euphrates, and its water was dried up, to prepare the way for the kings from the east. (Съд 5:19; Зах 12:11; Отк 19:19) 17 The seventh angel poured out his bowl into the air, and a loud voice came out of the temple, from the throne, saying, “It is done!” (Еф 2:2; Отк 10:6) 18 And there were flashes of lightning, rumblings,[3] peals of thunder, and a great earthquake such as there had never been since man was on the earth, so great was that earthquake.
