1 ¡Alegraos, oh justos, en YHVH! En los íntegros es hermosa la alabanza. 2 Dad gracias a YHVH con arpa, Cantadle con salterio y decacordio. 3 Cantadle cántico nuevo, ¡Hacedlo bien, tañendo con júbilo! 4 Pues recta es la palabra de YHVH, Y toda su obra es con fidelidad. 5 Él ama la rectitud y la justicia. De la misericordia de YHVH está llena la tierra. 6 Por la palabra de YHVH fueron hechos los cielos, Y todas sus constelaciones por el aliento de su boca. 7 Él junta como montón las aguas del mar, Él pone en depósitos los abismos. 8 ¡Tema a YHVH toda la tierra! ¡Tiemblen delante de Él todos los habitantes del mundo! 9 Porque Él dijo y se hizo, Él ordenó y se cumplió. 10 YHVH hace nulo el consejo de las naciones, Y frustra los planes de los pueblos. 11 El consejo de YHVH permanece para siempre, Y los pensamientos de su corazón por todas las generaciones. 12 ¡Cuán bienaventurada es la nación cuyo Dios es YHVH! El pueblo que Él escogió para su propia heredad. 13 YHVH mira desde los cielos, Contempla a todos los hijos del hombre. 14 Desde el lugar de su morada, Observa a todos los habitantes de la tierra. 15 El que forma los corazones de todos ellos, Considera todas sus acciones. 16 El rey no se salva por la multitud del ejército, Ni el poderoso escapa por la mucha fuerza. 17 Vano es el caballo para la victoria, Ni su gran fuerza permitirá escapar. 18 He aquí el ojo de YHVH sobre los que lo temen, Sobre los que esperan en su misericordia, 19 Para salvar sus almas de la muerte, Y mantenerlos vivos en tiempo de hambre. 20 Nuestra alma ha esperado por YHVH, Él es nuestra ayuda y nuestro escudo. 21 Por tanto, en Él se alegrará nuestro corazón, Porque en su santo Nombre hemos confiado. 22 Sea tu misericordia sobre nosotros, oh YHVH, Según esperamos en ti.

1 Shout for joy in the Lord, O you righteous! Praise befits the upright. (Sal 32:11; Sal 147:1) 2 Give thanks to the Lord with the lyre; make melody to him with the harp of ten strings! (Sal 71:22; Sal 144:9) 3 Sing to him a new song; play skillfully on the strings, with loud shouts. (Sal 40:3; Sal 96:1; Is 42:10) 4 For the word of the Lord is upright, and all his work is done in faithfulness. (Sal 119:75) 5 He loves righteousness and justice; the earth is full of the steadfast love of the Lord. (Sal 11:7; Sal 36:5; Sal 45:7; Sal 89:14; Sal 119:64) 6 By the word of the Lord the heavens were made, and by the breath of his mouth all their host. (Gn 1:6; Gn 2:1; Job 26:13; Is 11:4; Jn 1:3; Heb 11:3; 2 P 3:5) 7 He gathers the waters of the sea as a heap; he puts the deeps in storehouses. (Ex 15:8; Jos 3:13; Jos 3:16; Job 38:8; Sal 78:13) 8 Let all the earth fear the Lord; let all the inhabitants of the world stand in awe of him! 9 For he spoke, and it came to be; he commanded, and it stood firm. (Gn 1:3; Sal 147:15; Sal 147:18; Sal 148:5) 10 The Lord brings the counsel of the nations to nothing; he frustrates the plans of the peoples. (Pr 19:21; Is 46:10) 12 Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord, the people whom he has chosen as his heritage! (Ex 19:5; Dt 7:6; Dt 33:29; Sal 65:4; Sal 144:15) 13 The Lord looks down from heaven; he sees all the children of man; (Job 28:24; Sal 11:4) 14 from where he sits enthroned he looks out on all the inhabitants of the earth, (1 R 8:39; 1 R 8:43; 1 R 8:49; Pr 15:3; Jer 32:19) 15 he who fashions the hearts of them all and observes all their deeds. 16 The king is not saved by his great army; a warrior is not delivered by his great strength. (Sal 44:6) 17 The war horse is a false hope for salvation, and by its great might it cannot rescue. (Sal 20:7; Sal 147:10; Pr 21:31; Os 1:7) 18 Behold, the eye of the Lord is on those who fear him, on those who hope in his steadfast love, (Job 36:7; Sal 34:15; Sal 147:11; 1 P 3:12) 19 that he may deliver their soul from death and keep them alive in famine. (Job 5:20; Sal 37:19; Hch 12:11) 20 Our soul waits for the Lord; he is our help and our shield. (Sal 3:3; Sal 62:1; Sal 62:5; Sal 115:9; Sal 130:6; Is 8:17) 21 For our heart is glad in him, because we trust in his holy name.
