Salme 95

Salme 95

English Standard Version

fra Crossway
1 Oh come, let us sing to the Lord; let us make a joyful noise to the rock of our salvation! (Salm 66,1; Salm 89,26; Salm 94,22)2 Let us come into his presence with thanksgiving; let us make a joyful noise to him with songs of praise! (Salm 95,1; Mika 6,6)3 For the Lord is a great God, and a great King above all gods. (2.Krøn 2,5; Salm 86,8; Salm 93,4; Salm 96,4; Salm 97,9; Salm 135,5)4 In his hand are the depths of the earth; the heights of the mountains are his also.5 The sea is his, for he made it, and his hands formed the dry land. (1.Mos 1,9; Jonas 1,9)6 Oh come, let us worship and bow down; let us kneel before the Lord, our Maker! (5.Mos 32,6; 5.Mos 32,15; 5.Mos 32,18; 2.Krøn 6,13; Salm 100,3; Salm 149,2; Dan 6,10)7 For he is our God, and we are the people of his pasture, and the sheep of his hand. Today, if you hear his voice, (4.Mos 14,22; Salm 48,14; Salm 74,1; Heb 3,7; Heb 3,15; Heb 4,7)8 do not harden your hearts, as at Meribah, as on the day at Massah in the wilderness, (2.Mos 9,34; 2.Mos 17,7; 4.Mos 20,13; 5.Mos 6,16; 1.Sam 6,6; 2.Krøn 36,13; Ord 28,14)9 when your fathers put me to the test and put me to the proof, though they had seen my work. (4.Mos 14,22; Salm 78,18; Salm 78,41; Salm 78,56; Salm 90,16; 1.Kor 10,9)10 For forty years I loathed that generation and said, “They are a people who go astray in their heart, and they have not known my ways.” (5.Mos 9,7; Salm 81,13; Ap G 7,36; Ap G 13,18; Heb 3,17)11 Therefore I swore in my wrath, “They shall not enter my rest.” (4.Mos 14,23; 4.Mos 14,28; 4.Mos 14,30; 5.Mos 1,35; 5.Mos 12,9; Heb 3,11; Heb 4,3; Heb 4,5)
