1 But the Lord said to Moses, “Now you shall see what I will do to Pharaoh; for with a strong hand he will send them out, and with a strong hand he will drive them out of his land.” (2.Mos 3,19; 2.Mos 11,1; 2.Mos 12,33; 2.Mos 12,39; 2.Mos 13,3)2 God spoke to Moses and said to him, “I am the Lord. (Es 42,8; Mal 3,6)3 I appeared to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob, as God Almighty,[1] but by my name the Lord I did not make myself known to them. (1.Mos 17,1; Salm 68,4; Salm 83,18; Joh 8,58; Åb 1,4; Åb 1,8)4 I also established my covenant with them to give them the land of Canaan, the land in which they lived as sojourners. (1.Mos 15,18; 1.Mos 17,4; 1.Mos 17,7; 1.Mos 17,8; 1.Mos 28,4)5 Moreover, I have heard the groaning of the people of Israel whom the Egyptians hold as slaves, and I have remembered my covenant. (2.Mos 2,24)6 Say therefore to the people of Israel, ‘I am the Lord, and I will bring you out from under the burdens of the Egyptians, and I will deliver you from slavery to them, and I will redeem you with an outstretched arm and with great acts of judgment. (2.Mos 3,17; 2.Mos 7,4; 2.Mos 15,13; 5.Mos 7,8; 5.Mos 26,8; 2.Kong 17,36; 1.Krøn 17,21; Neh 1,10; Salm 136,11; Es 42,8; Mal 3,6)7 I will take you to be my people, and I will be your God, and you shall know that I am the Lord your God, who has brought you out from under the burdens of the Egyptians. (1.Mos 17,8; 2.Mos 6,6; 2.Mos 29,45; 3.Mos 22,33; 5.Mos 4,20; 5.Mos 7,6; 5.Mos 14,2; 5.Mos 26,18; 5.Mos 29,13; 2.Sam 7,24; 1.Pet 2,9; Åb 21,7)8 I will bring you into the land that I swore to give to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob.
