1След това Давид пак събра всички отбрани мъже от Израил на брой тридесет хиляди души.2И Давид тръгна от Ваала Юдова и отиде заедно с целия народ, за да пренесе оттам Божия ковчег, който се нарича с името на ГОСПОДА на Силите, Който обитава между херувимите. (1 Цар 4:4; 1 Лет 13:5; 1 Лет 13:6; Пс 80:1)3Положиха Божия ковчег на една нова кола и го взеха от Авинадавовата къща, която беше на хълма. А Оза и Ахио, Авинадавовите синове, караха новата кола с Божия ковчег, (Чис 7:9; 1 Цар 6:7)4като Ахио вървеше пред ковчега, а Оза край него. (1 Цар 7:1)5А Давид и целият израилски дом свиреха пред ГОСПОДА с всякакви видове инструменти от елхово дърво, с арфи, псалтири, тъпанчета, цитри и кимвали.6Когато стигнаха до Нахоновия харман, Оза протегна ръката си към Божия ковчег и го хвана; защото воловете го раздрусаха. (Чис 4:15; 1 Лет 13:9)7Тогава ГОСПОДНИЯТ гняв пламна против Оза и Бог го порази за грешката му; и той умря там, при Божия ковчег. (1 Цар 6:19)8А Давид се наскърби затова, че ГОСПОД нанесе поражение на Оза; и нарече онова място Фарез-Оза[1], както се нарича и до днес.9В онзи ден Давид се уплаши от ГОСПОДА и каза: Как ще дойде ГОСПОДНИЯТ ковчег при мене? (Пс 119:120; Лк 5:8; Лк 5:9)10Затова Давид отказа да премести ГОСПОДНИЯ ковчег при себе си в Давидовия град и го отклони в къщата на гетеца Овид-едом. (1 Лет 13:13)11ГОСПОДНИЯТ ковчег престоя в къщата на гетеца Овид-едом три месеца. И ГОСПОД благослови Овид-едом и целия му дом. (Бит 30:27; Бит 39:5; 1 Лет 13:14)12И така, известиха на цар Давид, че ГОСПОД е благословил дома на Овид-едом и целия му имот заради Божия ковчег. Тогава Давид отиде и пренесе с веселия Божия ковчег от къщата на Овид-едом в Давидовия град. (1 Лет 15:29)17Донесоха ГОСПОДНИЯ ковчег и го положиха на мястото му, сред шатъра, който Давид беше поставил за него. А Давид принесе всеизгаряния и мирни приноси пред ГОСПОДА. (3 Цар 8:5; 3 Цар 8:62; 3 Цар 8:63; 1 Лет 15:1; 1 Лет 16:1; Пс 132:8)18И когато Давид свърши принасянето на всеизгарянията и мирните приноси, благослови народа в името на ГОСПОДА на Силите. (3 Цар 8:55; 1 Лет 16:2)19Той раздаде на целия народ, т. е. на цялото множество израилтяни, мъже и жени, на всеки човек, по един хляб, по една мяра вино и по един наниз сухо грозде. Тогава целият народ си отиде, всеки в къщата си. (1 Лет 16:3)20А когато Давид се връщаше, за да благослови дома си, Михала, Сауловата дъщеря, излезе да го посрещне и каза: Колко славен беше днес израилският цар, който се съблече днес пред очите на слугините на служителите си, както се съблича безсрамно един никакъв човек! (Съд 9:4; 1 Цар 19:24; 2 Цар 6:14; 2 Цар 6:16; Пс 30:1)21А Давид отговори на Михала: Пред ГОСПОДА, Който предпочете мене пред баща ти и пред целия негов дом, за да ме постави вожд над ГОСПОДНИЯ народ, над Израил – да! – пред ГОСПОДА танцувах. (1 Цар 13:14; 1 Цар 15:28)22И ще се унижа още повече и ще се смиря пред собствените си очи; а от слугините, за които ти говориш, от тях ще бъда почитан.23Затова Михала, Сауловата дъщеря, остана бездетна до деня на смъртта си.
1David again gathered all the chosen men of Israel, thirty thousand. (1 Лет 13:6)2And David arose and went with all the people who were with him from Baale-judah to bring up from there the ark of God, which is called by the name of the LORD of hosts who sits enthroned on the cherubim. Uzzah and the Ark
5And David and all the house of Israel were celebrating before the LORD, with songs[3] and lyres and harps and tambourines and castanets and cymbals. (1 Лет 13:8)6And when they came to the threshing floor of Nacon, Uzzah put out his hand to the ark of God and took hold of it, for the oxen stumbled. And that place is called Perez-uzzah[4] to this day.9And David was afraid of the LORD that day, and he said, “How can the ark of the LORD come to me?”10So David was not willing to take the ark of the LORD into the city of David. But David took it aside to the house of Obed-edom the Gittite. (1 Лет 26:5)12And it was told King David, “The LORD has blessed the household of Obed-edom and all that belongs to him, because of the ark of God.” So David went and brought up the ark of God from the house of Obed-edom to the city of David with rejoicing. David and Michal
16As the ark of the LORD came into the city of David, Michal the daughter of Saul looked out of the window and saw King David leaping and dancing before the LORD, and she despised him in her heart.17And they brought in the ark of the LORD and set it in its place, inside the tent that David had pitched for it. And David offered burnt offerings and peace offerings before the LORD. But Michal the daughter of Saul came out to meet David and said, “How the king of Israel honored himself today, uncovering himself today before the eyes of his servants’ female servants, as one of the vulgar fellows shamelessly uncovers himself!” (Съд 9:4; 1 Цар 19:24; 2 Цар 6:14)21And David said to Michal, “It was before the LORD, who chose me above your father and above all his house, to appoint me as prince[6] over Israel, the people of the LORD—and I will celebrate before the LORD. But by the female servants of whom you have spoken, by them I shall be held in honor.”23And Michal the daughter of Saul had no child to the day of her death.
