Адам и Ева в Едемската градина
8И ГОСПОД Бог насади градина на изток, в Едем, и постави там човека, когото беше създал. (Бит 2:15; Бит 3:24; Бит 4:16; Бит 13:10; 4 Цар 19:12; Ис 51:3; Ез 27:23; Ез 28:13; Йоил 2:3)9ГОСПОД Бог направи да прораства от земята всяко дърво, което е красиво наглед и добро за храна, както и дървото на живота сред градината и дървото на познаване на доброто и злото. 1Thus the heavens and the earth were finished, and all the host of them. (Вт 4:19; Пс 33:6)2And on the seventh day God finished his work that he had done, and he rested on the seventh day from all his work that he had done. (Изх 20:8; Изх 31:17; Вт 5:12; Евр 4:4)3So God blessed the seventh day and made it holy, because on it God rested from all his work that he had done in creation.
The Creation of Man and Woman
4These are the generations of the heavens and the earth when they were created, in the day that the LORD God made the earth and the heavens. The tree of life was in the midst of the garden, and the tree of the knowledge of good and evil. It is the one that flowed around the whole land of Havilah, where there is gold. It is the one that flowed around the whole land of Cush.14And the name of the third river is the Tigris, which flows east of Assyria.[4] And the fourth river is the Euphrates. And whatever the man called every living creature, that was its name. But for Adam[8] there was not found a helper fit for him.21So the LORD God caused a deep sleep to fall upon the man, and while he slept took one of his ribs and closed up its place with flesh.
