1 Съди ме, Боже, и застъпи се в тъжбата ми с тоя недобър народ. Избави ме от лукав и несправедлив човек, 2 защото Ти си Бог на моята сила. Защо си ме отхвърлил? Защо ходя натъжен от обидите на врага? (Пс 37:7) 3 Прати Твоята светлина и Твоята истина да ме водят и да ме доведат на Твоята света планина и в Твоите обиталища. (2 Цар 15:25) 4 И ще се приближа до Божия жертвеник, до Бога на радостта и на моето веселие, и на гусли ще Те славя, Боже, Боже мой! 5 Защо униваш, душо моя, и защо се смущаваш? Уповавай се на Бога, защото още ще славя Него, моя Спасител и моя Бог. (Пс 41:6)

1 To the choirmaster. A Maskil[1] of the Sons of Korah. As a deer pants for flowing streams, so pants my soul for you, O God. (1 Лет 6:33; 1 Лет 6:37; Йоил 1:20) 2 My soul thirsts for God, for the living God. When shall I come and appear before God?[2] (Изх 23:17; И Н 3:10; Пс 63:1; Пс 84:2; Пс 84:7; Ис 41:17; Ис 55:1; Дан 6:26; Йн 7:37) 3 My tears have been my food day and night, while they say to me all the day long, “Where is your God?” (Пс 42:10; Пс 79:10; Пс 80:5; Пс 102:9; Пс 115:2; Йоил 2:17; Мих 7:10) 4 These things I remember, as I pour out my soul: how I would go with the throng and lead them in procession to the house of God with glad shouts and songs of praise, a multitude keeping festival. My soul is cast down within me; therefore I remember you from the land of Jordan and of Hermon, from Mount Mizar.
