1 Господи, сърцето ми не се е гордяло, очите ми не са се високо дигали, и аз не съм се занимавал с велики и непостижими за мен работи. (2 Цар 6:22; Пр 16:5) 2 Не смирявах ли и не успокоявах ли душата си като дете, отбито от майчини гърди? Душата ми беше в мене като дете от гърди отбито. 1 Out of the depths I cry to you, O LORD! (Пс 69:2; Пс 69:14; П Ер 3:55; Йона 2:2) 2 O Lord, hear my voice! Let your ears be attentive to the voice of my pleas for mercy! (2 Лет 6:40; Пс 86:6; Пс 140:6) 3 If you, O LORD, should mark iniquities, O Lord, who could stand? (Пс 76:7; Пс 90:8; Пс 143:2; Ам 2:15; Наум 1:6; Мал 3:2; Еф 6:13; Отк 6:17) 4 But with you there is forgiveness, that you may be feared. (3 Цар 8:39; 3 Цар 8:40; Пс 86:5; Пс 86:15; Пс 130:7; Ис 55:7; Ер 33:8; Ер 33:9; Дан 9:9; Рим 2:4) 5 I wait for the LORD, my soul waits, and in his word I hope; (Пс 33:20; Пс 40:1; Пс 119:74; Пс 119:81; Ис 8:17; Ис 26:8) 6 my soul waits for the Lord more than watchmen for the morning, more than watchmen for the morning.
