Bible Kralická

1 Přednímu z kantorů na neginot, žalm Azafův a píseň. 

2 Znám jest Bůh v Judstvu, a v Izraeli veliké jméno jeho. 

3 V Sálem jest stánek jeho, a obydlé jeho na Sionu. 

4 Tamť jest polámal ohnivé šípy lučišť, pavézu a meč, i válku. Sélah. 

5 Slavný jsi učiněn a důstojný horami loupeže. 

6 V loupež dáni jsou udatní srdcem, zesnuli snem svým, aniž nalezly zmužilé hrdiny síly v rukou svých. 

7 Od žehrání tvého, ó Bože Jákobův, i vůz i kůň tvrdě zesnuli. 

8 Ty jsi, ty velmi hrozný, a kdo jest, ješto by před tebou ostál v rozhněvání tvém? 

9 Když s nebe dáváš slyšeti výpověd svou, země se bojí a tichne, 

10 Když povstává k soudu Bůh, aby zachoval všecky pokorné na zemi. Sélah. 

11 Zajisté i hněv člověka chváliti tě musí, a ostatek zůřivosti skrotíš. 

12 Sliby čiňte a plňte Hospodinu Bohu vašemu; kteřížkoli jste vůkol něho, přinášejte dary Přehroznému. [ (Psalms 76:13) Onť odjímá ducha knížatům, a k hrůze jest králům zemským. ]

Who Can Stand Before You?

1 To the choirmaster: with stringed instruments. A Psalm of Asaph. A Song. In Judah God is known; his name is great in Israel. (Ž 4,1; Ž 48,3; Ž 50,1) 

2 His abode has been established in Salem, his dwelling place in Zion. (Gn 14,18; Ž 9,11; Ž 27,5; Ž 74,2; Pl 2,6) 

3 There he broke the flashing arrows, the shield, the sword, and the weapons of war. (Ž 46,9; Ez 39,9) 

4 Glorious are you, more majestic than the mountains full of prey. (Iz 14,25; Ez 39,4; Na 2,13) 

5 The stouthearted were stripped of their spoil; they sank into sleep; all the men of war were unable to use their hands. (2Kr 19,35; Ž 13,3; Iz 46,12; Jr 51,39; Na 3,18) 

6 At your rebuke, O God of Jacob, both rider and horse lay stunned. (Ex 15,1; Ex 15,21) 

7 But you, you are to be feared! Who can stand before you when once your anger is roused? (Ž 47,2; Ž 130,3) 

8 From the heavens you uttered judgment; the earth feared and was still, (2Pa 20,29; Abk 2,20) 

9 when God arose to establish judgment, to save all the humble of the earth. (Ž 9,7) 

10 Surely the wrath of man shall praise you; the remnant of wrath you will put on like a belt. (Ex 9,16) 

11 Make your vows to the Lord your God and perform them; let all around him bring gifts to him who is to be feared, (Gn 31,42; Gn 31,53; Ž 50,14; Ž 68,29; Ž 89,7; Iz 8,13) 

12 who cuts off the spirit of princes, who is to be feared by the kings of the earth. (Ž 47,2; Iz 18,5)
