1I mluvil Hospodin k Mojžíšovi, řka:2Mluv k Aronovi a rci jemu: Když rozsvěcovati budeš lampy, ven z svícnu sedm lamp svítiti má.3I učinil Aron tak; ven z svícnu světlo od sebe dávající rozsvítil lampy jeho, jakož přikázal Hospodin Mojžíšovi.4Bylo pak dílo svícnu takové: Z taženého zlata byl všecken, až i sloupec jeho i květové jeho z taženého zlata byli; podlé podobenství toho, kteréž ukázal Hospodin Mojžíšovi, tak udělal svícen.5Mluvil také Hospodin k Mojžíšovi, řka:6Vezmi Levíty z prostředku synů Izraelských, a očisť je.7Tímto pak způsobem očišťovati je budeš: Pokropíš jich vodou očištění; oholí všecko tělo své, a zperou roucha svá, a očištěni budou.8Potom vezmou volka mladého a obět suchou z mouky bělné, olejem skropené; a druhého volka mladého vezmeš k oběti za hřích.9Tedy přistoupiti rozkážeš Levítům před stánek úmluvy, a shromáždíš všecko množství synů Izraelských.10Postavíš Levíty před Hospodinem, a vloží synové Izraelští ruce své na Levíty.11A obětovati bude Aron Levíty v obět před Hospodinem od synů Izraelských, aby vykonávali službu Hospodinu.12Levítové pak vloží ruce své na hlavy těch volků; a obětovati budeš jednoho za hřích, a druhého v obět zápalnou Hospodinu k očištění Levítů.13A postavíš Levíty před Aronem a před syny jeho, a obětovati je budeš v obět Hospodinu.14I oddělíš Levíty z prostředku synů Izraelských, aby moji byli Levítové.15Potom pak přijdou Levítové, aby přisluhovali při stánku úmluvy, když bys očistil je a obětoval v obět.16Nebo vlastně dáni jsou mi z prostředku synů Izraelských za všecky otvírající život, za prvorozené ze všech synů Izraelských vzal jsem je sobě.17Nebo mé jest všecko prvorozené mezi syny Izraelskými, tak z lidí jako z hovad; od toho dne, jakž jsem pobil všecko prvorozené v zemi Egyptské, posvětil jsem jich sobě.18Vzal jsem pak Levíty za všecky prvorozené synů Izraelských.19A dal jsem Levíty darem Aronovi i synům jeho z prostředku synů Izraelských, aby konali službu místo synů Izraelských při stánku úmluvy, a očišťovali od hříchů syny Izraelské; a tak nepřijde na syny Izraelské rána,kteráž by přišla, kdyby přistupovali synové Izraelští k svatyni.20I učinili Mojžíš a Aron i všecko množství synů Izraelských při Levítích všecko to, což přikázal Hospodin Mojžíšovi o Levítích; tak s nimi učinili synové Izraelští.21A očistili se Levítové a zeprali roucha svá; a obětoval je Aron v obět před Hospodinem, a očistil je Aron, aby byli čisti.22Potom teprv přistoupili Levítové k vykonávání služby své při stánku úmluvy, před Aronem i před syny jeho; jakž přikázal Hospodin Mojžíšovi o Levítích, tak s nimi učinili.23I mluvil opět Hospodin k Mojžíšovi, řka:24I toto k Levítům přináleží: V pětmecítma letech zstáří a výše jeden každý z nich přistoupí, a postaví se k ochotnému práce konání v službě při stánku úmluvy.25V padesáti pak letech přestane od práce služby té, a více přisluhovati nebude.26Ale přisluhovati bude bratřím svým při stánku úmluvy stráž držícím, sám pak služeb konati nebude. Tak učiníš s Levíty při pracech jejich.

1 Hospodin promluvil k Mojžíšovi:2 „Mluv k Áronovi a řekni mu: Když budeš nasazovat kahánky, dbej, aby těch sedm kahánků svítilo dopředu před svícen.“3 Áron tak učinil. Nasadil kahánky na svícen směrem dopředu, jak přikázal Hospodin Mojžíšovi.4 Svícen byl vyroben z tepaného zlata; jak dřík, tak květy na něm byly z tepaného zlata. Mojžíš zhotovil svícen podle vzoru, který mu ukázal Hospodin. 5 Hospodin dále mluvil k Mojžíšovi:6 „Vezmi z Izraelců lévijce a očisť je.7 Aby byli čisti, vykonej s nimi toto: Pokrop je vodou rozhřešení, pak ať si dají břitvou oholit celé tělo a vyperou si roucha. Tak se očistí.8 Potom vezmou mladého býčka a jako oběť přídavnou bílou mouku zadělanou olejem. A ty vezmeš druhého mladého býčka k oběti za hřích.9 Přikážeš, aby lévijci předstoupili před stan setkávání, a svoláš celou pospolitost Izraelců.10 Přivedeš lévijce před Hospodina a Izraelci na ně budou vkládat ruce.11 Nato Áron nabídne lévijce Hospodinu podáváním jako oběť podávání od Izraelců, a budou způsobilí vykonávat Hospodinovu službu.12 Lévijci vloží ruce na hlavy těch býků a ty obětuj Hospodinu jednoho jako oběť za hřích a druhého jako oběť zápalnou k vykonání smírčích obřadů za lévijce.13 Pak lévijce postavíš před Árona a jeho syny, nabídneš je Hospodinu jako oběť podávání14 a oddělíš lévijce od ostatních Izraelců. Lévijci jsou moji.15 Lévijci půjdou sloužit při stanu setkávání teprve potom, až je očistíš a nabídneš jako oběť podávání.16 Budou mi odděleni z Izraelců jako dar; vzal jsem si je místo všech, kteří otvírají lůno, místo všech prvorozených mezi Izraelci.17 Mně patří všechno prvorozené mezi Izraelci, člověk i dobytče. Oddělil jsem je pro sebe jako svaté v den, kdy jsem pobil v egyptské zemi všechno prvorozené.18 Vzal jsem si lévijce místo všech prvorozených mezi Izraelci.19 Dávám je Áronovi a jeho synům jako darované z Izraelců, aby za Izraelce vykonávali službu při stanu setkávání. Budou za Izraelce vykonávat smírčí obřady, aby je nepostihla pohroma, když přistoupí ke svatyni.“20 Mojžíš a Áron i celá pospolitost Izraelců vykonali s lévijci to, co o nich přikázal Hospodin Mojžíšovi; to s nimi Izraelci vykonali.21 Lévijci se očistili od hříchů, vyprali si roucha a Áron je podáváním nabídl Hospodinu jako oběť podávání, a tak za ně vykonal smírčí obřady, aby byli čisti.22 Teprve potom šli lévijci vykonávat službu při stanu setkávání před Áronem a jeho syny. Jak Hospodin Mojžíšovi o lévijcích přikázal, tak s nimi učinili. 23 Hospodin dále mluvil k Mojžíšovi:24 „Toto je řád pro lévijce: Od pětadvaceti let bude schopen nastoupit do služby, totiž konat službu při stanu setkávání.25 Od padesáti let bude této služby zproštěn a nebude už sloužit.26 Může ovšem přisluhovat svým bratřím při stanu setkávání ve strážné službě, ale vlastní službu konat nebude. Tak to učiníš s lévijci vzhledem k tomu, co jim bylo svěřeno.“
1Hospodin promluvil k Mojžíšovi:2„Řekni Áronovi: Když budeš rozsvěcovat kahany, dbej, ať těch sedm kahanů vrhá světlo dopředu před svícen.“3Áron to tedy učinil; rozsvítil kahany směrem dopředu před svícen, jak Hospodin přikázal Mojžíšovi.4Samotný svícen byl od dříku až po květy vytepán ze zlata. Mojžíš zhotovil svícen přesně podle vzoru, který mu Hospodin ukázal na hoře.[1]
Očištění levitů
5Hospodin promluvil k Mojžíšovi:6„Vezmi z řad synů Izraele levity a očisti je.7Očistíš je tímto způsobem: pokropíš je vodou rozhřešení a oni si oholí celé tělo břitvou a vyperou si oděv. Tak budou očištěni.8Ať vezmou mladého býčka spolu s moučnou obětí z jemné mouky zadělané olejem; ty pak vezmi druhého mladého býčka k oběti za hřích.9Přiveď levity před Stan setkávání a shromáždi tam celou izraelskou obec.10Když levity přivedeš před Hospodina, synové Izraele na ně vloží ruce11a Áron levity nabídne Hospodinu jako obětní dar synů Izraele, aby konali službu Hospodinu.12Levité ať pak vloží ruce na hlavy těch býků. Jednoho obětuj jako oběť za hřích a druhého jako zápalnou oběť Hospodinu k vykoupení levitů.13Potom levity postav před Árona a před jeho syny a nabídni je jako obětní dar Hospodinu.14Tak oddělíš levity z řad synů Izraele a levité budou moji.15Poté, co je očistíš a nabídneš jako obětní dar, vstoupí levité do služby při Stanu setkávání,16neboť jsou mi z řad synů Izraele zcela odevzdáni. Vzal jsem si je namísto všech, kteří otvírají lůno, namísto všech prvorozených synů Izraele,17neboť všechno prvorozené mezi syny Izraele, jak z lidí, tak ze zvířat, je mé. V den, kdy jsem pobil všechny prvorozené v Egyptě, jsem je zasvětil sobě,18avšak namísto všech prvorozených mezi syny Izraele jsem si vzal levity.[2]19Tyto levity odevzdané z řad synů Izraele jsem pak dal Áronovi a jeho synům, aby za syny Izraele konali službu při Stanu setkávání a byli za ně výkupným, aby na syny Izraele nepřišla zhoubná rána, když by přistupovali ke svatým věcem.“[3]20Mojžíš, Áron a celá obec synů Izraele tedy naložili s levity přesně tak, jak Hospodin Mojžíšovi ohledně levitů přikázal; právě tak s nimi synové Izraele naložili.21Levité se očistili od hříchu a vyprali si oděv. Áron je nabídl jako obětní dar Hospodinu a vykonal za ně obřad smíření, aby byli očištěni.22Poté tedy levité vstoupili do své služby při Stanu setkávání před tváří Árona a jeho synů. Jak Hospodin přikázal Mojžíšovi ohledně levitů, tak s nimi naložili.23Hospodin promluvil k Mojžíšovi:24„Toto platí pro levity: Od pětadvaceti let každý z nich nastoupí službu, aby konal práci při Stanu setkávání.25Od padesáti let se pak z pracovní služby vrátí a nebude už sloužit.26Bude moci pomáhat svým bratrům plnit povinnosti při Stanu setkávání, ale službu konat nebude. Takto naložíš s levity, pokud jde o jejich povinnosti.“

(Ex 25,31; Ex 37,17)3Das tat Aaron; er steckte die Lampen so auf, dass ihr Licht vom Leuchter aus nach vorn fiel, wie der HERR es Mose geboten hatte.4So war der Leuchter gemacht: Er war aus Gold getrieben, vom Gestell bis zu den Blüten war er aus Gold getrieben. Mose hatte den Leuchter nach dem Muster angefertigt, das der HERR ihm gezeigt hatte. (Ex 25,9)
Weihe und Dienst der Leviten
5Der HERR sprach zu Mose:6Nimm die Leviten aus der Mitte der Israeliten und reinige sie! (Ex 29,4; Lv 8,5; Nu 8,3; Dt 10,8; Mal 3,3)7So sollst du ihre Reinigung vollziehen: Spreng über sie das Entsündigungswasser! Sie selbst sollen sich an ihrem ganzen Körper mit einem Schermesser die Haare schneiden, ihre Kleider waschen und sich reinigen. (Lv 14,8; Nu 19,9)8Dann sollen sie einen Jungstier nehmen und dazu als Speiseopfer Weizenfeinmehl, das mit Öl vermengt ist. Einen zweiten Jungstier sollst du für das Sündopfer nehmen.9Dann sollst du die Leviten vor das Offenbarungszelt hintreten lassen und die ganze Gemeinde der Israeliten versammeln. (Lv 8,3)10Lass die Leviten vor den HERRN treten! Die Israeliten sollen den Leviten die Hände auflegen11und Aaron soll aus den Israeliten die Leviten zum Erhebungsopfer vor dem HERRN erklären, damit sie den Dienst des HERRN verrichten.12Die Leviten sollen ihre Hände den Stieren auf den Kopf legen. Dann richte den einen als Sündopfer und den anderen als Brandopfer für den HERRN her, um für die Leviten Sühne zu erwirken.13Stell die Leviten vor Aaron und seine Söhne und erkläre sie zum Erhebungsopfer für den HERRN! (Nu 3,9)14Auf diese Weise sollst du die Leviten aus der Mitte der Israeliten aussondern; dann gehören die Leviten mir. (Nu 3,11)15Danach sollen die Leviten mit ihrem Dienst am Offenbarungszelt beginnen. Reinige sie und erkläre sie zum Erhebungsopfer;16denn sie sind mir übergeben - übergeben sind sie mir aus der Mitte der Israeliten -, als Ersatz für alle, die den Mutterschoß durchbrechen; als Ersatz für alle erstgeborenen Israeliten habe ich sie mir genommen.17Denn alle erstgeborenen Israeliten gehören mir, sowohl bei den Menschen als auch beim Vieh. An dem Tag, an dem ich in Ägypten alle Erstgeborenen erschlug, habe ich sie als mir heilig erklärt. (Ex 13,2; Ex 22,28)18Die Leviten habe ich als Ersatz für alle erstgeborenen Israeliten genommen.19Ich habe die Leviten Aaron und seinen Söhnen aus der Mitte der Israeliten als Gabe übergeben, damit sie am Offenbarungszelt den Dienst der Israeliten vollziehen und für die Israeliten Sühne erwirken, sodass die Israeliten kein Unheil trifft, wenn sie dem Heiligtum zu nahe kommen.20Mose, Aaron und die ganze Gemeinde der Israeliten taten mit den Leviten genau das, was der HERR dem Mose hinsichtlich der Leviten geboten hatte; das taten die Israeliten mit den Leviten.21Die Leviten entsündigten sich und wuschen ihre Kleider. Aaron erklärte sie zum Erhebungsopfer vor dem HERRN und erwirkte Sühne für sie, sodass sie rein waren.22Danach traten die Leviten bei Aaron und seinen Söhnen ihren Dienst am Offenbarungszelt an. Was der HERR dem Mose hinsichtlich der Leviten geboten hatte, das tat man mit ihnen.23Der HERR sprach zu Mose:24Folgendes gilt für die Leviten: Mit fünfundzwanzig Jahren und darüber ist jeder verpflichtet, am Offenbarungszelt seinen Dienst zu tun. (Nu 4,3)25Mit fünfzig Jahren endet seine Verpflichtung und er braucht keinen Dienst mehr zu tun;26er kann aber am Offenbarungszelt seinen Brüdern bei der Ausübung ihres Dienstes helfen; doch den Dienst selbst soll er nicht versehen. So sollst du den Dienst der Leviten ordnen.

Cleansing of the Levites
5And the Lord spoke to Moses, saying,6“Take the Levites from among the people of Israel and cleanse them.7Thus you shall do to them to cleanse them: sprinkle the water of purification upon them, and let them go with a razor over all their body, and wash their clothes and cleanse themselves. (Lv 8,6; Lv 14,8; Nu 19,9; Nu 19,17)8Then let them take a bull from the herd and its grain offering of fine flour mixed with oil, and you shall take another bull from the herd for a sin offering. (Ex 29,41; Lv 2,1; Nu 8,12)9And you shall bring the Levites before the tent of meeting and assemble the whole congregation of the people of Israel. (Ex 29,4; Ex 40,12; Lv 8,3)10When you bring the Levites before the Lord, the people of Israel shall lay their hands on the Levites, (Lv 1,4)11and Aaron shall offer the Levites before the Lord as a wave offering from the people of Israel, that they may do the service of the Lord.12Then the Levites shall lay their hands on the heads of the bulls, and you shall offer the one for a sin offering and the other for a burnt offering to the Lord to make atonement for the Levites. Retirement of the Levites
23And the Lord spoke to Moses, saying,24“This applies to the Levites: from twenty-five years old and upward they[1] shall come to do duty in the service of the tent of meeting. (Nu 4,3; 1Pa 23,3; 1Pa 23,24; 1Pa 23,27)25And from the age of fifty years they shall withdraw from the duty of the service and serve no more.26They minister[2] to their brothers in the tent of meeting by keeping guard, but they shall do no service. Thus shall you do to the Levites in assigning their duties.” (Nu 1,53)
