1I mluvil Hospodin k Mojžíšovi, řka:2Přikaž synům Izraelským, ať vyženou z stanů každého malomocného a každého trpícího tok semene, i každého nad mrtvým poškvrněného.3I muže i ženu vyženete, ven za stany vyženete je, aby nepoškvrňovali vojska těch, mezi nimiž já přebývám.4I učinili tak synové Izraelští, a vyhnali je ven za stany. Jakož byl mluvil Hospodin k Mojžíšovi, tak učinili synové Izraelští.5Mluvil také Hospodin k Mojžíšovi, řka:6Mluv k synům Izraelským: Muž aneb žena, když učiní nějaký hřích lidský, dopouštěje se výstupku proti Hospodinu, a byla by vinna duše ta:7Tedy vyzná hřích svůj, kterýž učinil, navrátí pak to, čímž vinen byl, v cele, a pátý díl přidá nad to, a dá tomu, proti komuž zavinil.8A neměl-li by muž ten přítele, jemuž by nahradil tu škodu, pokuta dána buď Hospodinu a knězi, mimo skopce očištění, jímž očištěn býti má.9Též všeliká obět všech věcí posvěcených od synů Izraelských, kterouž přinesou knězi, jemu se dostane.10Tak i věci posvěcené od kohokoli jemu se dostanou; a dal-li kdo co knězi, také jeho bude.11Mluvil ještě Hospodin k Mojžíšovi, řka:12Mluv k synům Izraelským a rci jim: Kdyby od některého muže uchýlila se žena, a dopustila by se výstupku proti němu,13Tak že by obýval někdo jiný s ní, a bylo by to skryto před očima muže jejího, a tajila by se, jsuci poškvrněna, a svědka by nebylo proti ní, a ona nebyla by postižena;14Pohnul-li by se duch muže horlivostí velikou, tak že by horlil proti ženě své, kteráž by poškvrněna byla; aneb pohnul-li by se duch muže velikou horlivostí, tak že by horlil proti ženě své, kteráž by poškvrněna nebyla:15Tedy přivede muž ženu svou k knězi, a přinese obět její při ní, desátý díl efi mouky ječné. Nenalejeť na ni oleje, aniž dá na ni kadidla; nebo obět veliké horlivosti jest, obět suchá pamětná, uvozující v pamět nepravost.16I bude ji kněz obětovati, a postaví ji před Hospodinem.17A nabere vody svaté do nádoby hliněné, a vezma prachu, kterýž jest na zemi v příbytku, dá jej do té vody.18Potom postaví kněz ženu tu před Hospodinem, a odkryje hlavu její, a dá jí do rukou obět suchou pamětnou, kteráž jest obět veliké horlivosti; v ruce pak kněze bude voda hořká zlořečená.19I zaklínati bude ji kněz a řekne k ní: Jestliže neobcoval s tebou žádný, a jestliže jsi neuchýlila se k nečistotě od muže svého, budiž čistá od vody této hořké zlořečené.20Paklis se uchýlila od muže svého a nečistá jsi, a obcoval-li někdo jiný s tebou kromě manžela tvého,21(Zaklínati pak bude kněz tu ženu, čině klatbu zlořečenství, a řekne jí:) Dejž tebe Hospodin v zlořečení a v prokletí u prostřed lidu tvého, dopustě, aby lůno tvé hnilo a břicho tvé oteklo.22Vejdiž voda zlořečená tato do života tvého, aby oteklo břicho tvé, a lůno tvé shnilo. I odpoví žena ta: Amen, amen.23Napíše pak všecko zlořečenství toto do knihy, a smyje je tou vodou hořkou.24I dá ženě, aby pila vodu hořkou a zlořečenou; a vejdeť do ní voda zlořečená, a obrátí se v hořkosti.25Potom vezme kněz z ruky ženy obět veliké horlivosti, a obraceti ji bude sem i tam před Hospodinem, a bude ji obětovati na oltáři.26A vezma plnou hrst pamětného jejíhoz oběti suché, páliti to bude na oltáři; a potom dá vypíti ženě tu vodu.27A když jí dá píti tu vodu, stane se, jestliže nečistá byla, a dopustila se výstupku proti muži svému, že vejde do ní voda zlořečená,a obrátí se v hořkost, i odme se břicho její, a vyhnije lůno její; i bude žena ta v zlořečení u prostřed lidu svého.28Pakli není poškvrněna žena ta, ale čistá jest, tedy bez viny bude, a roditi bude děti.29Ten jest zákon veliké horlivosti, když by se uchýlila žena od muže svého, a byla by poškvrněna,30Aneb když by se pohnul duch veliké horlivosti v manželu, tak že by horlil velmi proti ženě své, aby postavil ji před Hospodinem, a aby vykonal při ní kněz všecko vedlé zákona tohoto.31I bude ten muž očištěn od hříchu, žena pak ponese nepravost svou.
RůZNÁ USTANOVENÍ - — Řád pro nečisté a provinilé - Pravidla pro vyloučení nečistých z tábora a pro vyměření pokut provinilým.
1 Hospodin promluvil k Mojžíšovi:2 „Přikaž Izraelcům, ať vyhostí z tábora každého malomocného, každého, kdo trpí výtokem, i každého, kdo se znečistil při mrtvém.3 Vyhostíte osoby jak mužského, tak i ženského pohlaví, vyhostíte je ven za tábor, aby neznečišťovaly tábory těch, uprostřed nichž já přebývám.“4 Izraelci tak učinili a vyhostili je ven za tábor. Udělali to tak, jak mluvil Hospodin k Mojžíšovi. 5 Hospodin dále mluvil k Mojžíšovi:6 „Mluv k Izraelcům: Když se muž nebo žena dopustí nějakého hříchu, jak se ho lidé dopouštějí zpronevěrou Hospodinu, a budou shledáni vinnými,7 vyznají svůj hřích, jehož se dopustili, a viník dá odškodnění a navíc přidá pětinu. To dá tomu, proti komu se provinil.8 Nemá-li ten člověk žádného zastánce, jemuž by se odškodnění mělo předat, připadne stanovené odškodnění Hospodinu a předá se knězi, kromě berana smírčí oběti, potřebného k vykonání smírčího obřadu za něho.9 Každá oběť pozdvihování se všemi svatými dary, které Izraelci přinesou knězi, bude jeho.10 Svaté dary od kohokoli budou jeho; co kdo dá knězi, bude jeho.“

11 Hospodin dále mluvil k Mojžíšovi:12 „Mluv k Izraelcům a řekni jim: Kdyby se žena některého muže dostala na scestí a zpronevěřila se mu13 a někdo se s ní tělesně stýkal, třebaže to zůstane skryto jejímu muži a ona se neprozradí, poskvrnila se, i když proti sobě nemá svědka a nebyla přistižena.14 Když se muže zmocní žárlivost a bude žárlit na svou ženu, která se poskvrnila, anebo se ho zmocní žárlivost a bude žárlit na svou ženu, která se neposkvrnila,15 přivede svou ženu ke knězi a přinese za ni jako oběť desetinu éfy ječné mouky, ale nepoleje ji olejem ani na ni nedá kadidlo, neboť to je obětní dar žárlivosti, připomínkový obětní dar, který má připomenout vinu.16 Kněz ženu přivede a postaví ji před Hospodina.17 Pak vezme kněz do hliněné nádoby svatou vodu, nabere trochu prachu z podlahy v příbytku a dá jej do vody.18 Potom kněz postaví ženu s rozpuštěnými vlasy před Hospodina a dá jí do rukou připomínkový obětní dar, to je obětní dar žárlivosti. Kněz bude mít v ruce hořkou vodu prokletí19 a bude zapřísahat ženu slovy: ‚Jestliže se s tebou nikdo nestýkal a ty ses nedostala na scestí a neposkvrnila ses před svým mužem, buď nedotčena touto hořkou vodou prokletí.20 Ale jestliže ses dostala na scestí a byla svému muži nevěrná a poskvrnila se tím, že se s tebou stýkal někdo jiný kromě tvého muže...,‘21tu kněz zapřisáhne ženu přísežnou kletbou a řekne jí: ‚Ať s tebou Hospodin naloží uprostřed tvého lidu podle přísežné kletby! Hospodin ať způsobí, aby tvůj klín potratil a břicho ti nadulo.22 Ať tato voda prokletí vnikne do tvých útrob, aby ti břicho nadulo a tvůj klín potratil.‘ Žena odpoví: ‚Amen, amen.‘23 Kněz pak napíše tyto kletby na listinu a spláchne je do hořké vody24 a dá ženě vypít tu hořkou vodu prokletí, takže ji voda prokletí naplní hořkostí.25 Potom vezme kněz z ženiny ruky obětní dar žárlivosti, bude obětní dar nabízet podáváním Hospodinu a přinese jej k oltáři.26 Vezme z obětního daru hrst na připomínku a obrátí ji na oltáři v obětní dým. Potom dá ženě napít té vody.27 Když jí dal napít té vody, tedy v případě, že se poskvrnila zpronevěrou svému muži, naplní ji voda prokletí hořkostí, břicho jí naduje, její klín potratí a žena bude ve svém lidu kletbou.28 Jestliže se však žena neposkvrnila, nýbrž je čistá, bude podezření zproštěna a bude mít potomky.29 Toto je řád v případě žárlivosti, když se žena dostane na scestí, je nevěrná svému muži a poskvrní se.30 Muž, jehož se zmocní žárlivost a jenž bude na svou ženu žárlit, postaví ji před Hospodina a kněz s ní vykoná vše podle tohoto řádu.31 Muž bude prost viny, žena svou vinu ponese.“

Náhrada škody
5Hospodin promluvil k Mojžíšovi:6„Mluv k synům Izraele: Když se muž nebo žena dopustí kteréhokoli hříchu vůči člověku, a tak se zpronevěří Hospodinu, takový člověk se provinil.7Vyzná tedy svůj hřích, jehož se dopustil, nahradí škodu v plné výši, přidá ještě pětinu navíc a odevzdá to tomu, vůči komu se provinil.[3]8Kdyby po poškozeném nezůstal příbuzný, jemuž by se nahradila škoda, bude odškodnění odevzdáno Hospodinu pro kněze, a to kromě berana, jímž se za něj vykoná obřad smíření.9Ze všech svatých darů, které mu synové Izraele přinesou, připadne vždy obětní příspěvek knězi.10Všechny svaté dary patří vždy dárci, ale co kdo dá knězi, patří knězi.“
Zákon žárlivosti
11Hospodin promluvil k Mojžíšovi:12„Mluv k synům Izraele: Kdyby se od někoho odklonila manželka a byla mu nevěrná,13kdyby s ní spal jiný muž a kdyby s ní bez vědomí jejího manžela obcoval, takže by se v tajnosti poskvrnila beze svědků a nepřistižena, učiníte toto:14Zmocní-li se muže žárlivost vůči jeho manželce, ať už se skutečně poskvrnila či nikoliv,15přivede ji ke knězi a přinese za ni jako oběť desetinu efy[4] ječné mouky. Nepolije ji však olejem a nepoloží na ni kadidlo,[5] neboť je to moučná oběť žárlivosti, moučná oběť připomínky, která má poukázat na vinu.16Kněz ji pak vezme a postaví ji před Hospodina.17Kněz nabere do hliněné nádoby svatou vodu,[6] vezme trochu prachu z podlahy Příbytku a hodí jej do té vody.18Když tu ženu postaví před Hospodina, rozpustí jí vlasy a do rukou jí vloží moučnou oběť připomínky, jež je moučnou obětí žárlivosti. Kněz pak bude mít v ruce hořkou vodu prokletí19a bude ženu zapřísahat: ‚Jestliže s tebou žádný muž nespal a neodklonila ses od svého manžela k nečistotě, buď zproštěna účinku této hořké vody prokletí.20Jestliže ses však od svého manžela odklonila a poskvrnila ses, když s tebou obcoval jiný muž než tvůj manžel‘ –21tehdy kněz bude tu ženu zapřísahat přísežnou kletbou a řekne jí – ‚pak ať tě Hospodin uprostřed tvého lidu učiní kletbou a zlořečením! Ať dopustí, aby tvůj klín zvadl a tvé lůno oteklo!22Ať tato hořká voda prokletí vnikne do tvých útrob, aby tvé lůno oteklo a tvůj klín zvadl!‘ A žena odpoví: ‚Amen, ať se tak stane.‘23Kněz pak tyto kletby napíše na pergamen a spláchne je do hořké vody.24Hořkou vodu prokletí dá té ženě vypít, aby se v ní obrátila v hořkost.25Potom kněz vezme z její ruky moučnou oběť žárlivosti, nabídne ji Hospodinu a přinese ji k oltáři.26Vezme z té moučné oběti do hrsti památeční díl a nechá jej dýmat na oltáři. Potom dá ženě vypít tu vodu.27Pokud se poskvrnila a dopustila se vůči svému manželu nevěry, voda prokletí v ní zhořkne, její lůno oteče a její klín zvadne, a tak se ta žena stane ve svém lidu kletbou.28Pokud se však neposkvrnila a je čistá, bude zproštěna nařčení a bude moci počít dítě.29Toto je zákon žárlivosti. Platí v případech, kdy se žena odklonila od svého manžela, a tak se poskvrnila,30nebo když se muže zmocní žárlivost vůči jeho manželce. Postaví ji před Hospodina a kněz při ní vykoná vše podle tohoto předpisu.31Manžel bude prost viny, žena však svou vinu ponese.“

Schadensersatz für Profaniertes und Abgaben ans Heiligtum
5Der HERR sprach zu Mose: (Ex 21,37; Lv 5,20)6Rede zu den Israeliten: Wenn ein Mann oder eine Frau eine Sünde begangen hat, wie sie bei Menschen vorkommt, und dabei das Recht des HERRN verletzt, und dieser Mensch schuldig geworden ist,7dann müssen sie die Sünde, die sie begangen haben, bekennen und der Schuldige muss das, was er schuldet, voll ersetzen und dem, an dem er schuldig geworden ist, noch ein Fünftel dazugeben. (Lv 5,16; Lv 22,14; Lv 27,13)8Wenn aber der Anspruchsberechtigte keinen Löser hat, dem der Schuldige Ersatz leisten könnte, dann gehört der geschuldete Betrag dem HERRN zugunsten des Priesters, ebenso wie der Sühnewidder, mit dem der Priester für ihn die Sühne erwirkt.[1] (Lv 7,7; Lv 25,25)9Alle Hebeopfer von allen heiligen Gaben, die die Israeliten dem Priester überbringen, gehören dem Priester. (Ex 29,27; Nu 18,8)10Die heiligen Gaben selbst gehören dem Überbringer; was er aber dem Priester gibt, gehört dem Priester.
Gottesurteil bei Eifersuchtsklage
11Der HERR sprach zu Mose:12Rede zu den Israeliten und sag ihnen: Angenommen, eine Frau gerät auf Abwege, sie wird ihrem Mann untreu,13und ein anderer Mann liegt bei ihr im Beischlaf, ohne dass ihr Mann es merkt, angenommen also, sie ist unrein geworden, ohne dass es entdeckt wird, und es gibt keine Zeugen, weil sie nicht ertappt worden ist,14im Mann aber wird Eifersucht wach und er wird eifersüchtig auf seine Frau, die wirklich unrein geworden ist; angenommen aber auch, er wird auf seine Frau eifersüchtig, obwohl sie in Wirklichkeit nicht unrein geworden ist:15In einem solchen Fall soll der Mann seine Frau zum Priester bringen und soll zugleich die für sie vorgesehene Opfergabe mitbringen: ein Zehntel Efa Gerstenmehl. Er darf kein Öl darauf gießen und keinen Weihrauch darauf streuen; denn es ist ein Eifersuchtsspeiseopfer, ein Speiseopfer zur Ermittlung der Schuld.16Der Priester führt die Frau hinein und stellt sie vor den HERRN.17Er nimmt heiliges Wasser in einem Tongefäß; dann nimmt er etwas Staub vom Fußboden der Wohnung und streut ihn in das Wasser.18Dann stellt der Priester die Frau vor den HERRN, löst ihr Haar und legt ihr das Ermittlungsspeiseopfer, das heißt das Eifersuchtsspeiseopfer, in die Hände; der Priester aber hält das bittere, fluchbringende Wasser in der Hand.19Dann beschwört der Priester die Frau und sagt zu ihr: Wenn kein Mann mit dir geschlafen hat, wenn du deinem Mann nicht untreu gewesen, also nicht unrein geworden bist, dann wird sich deine Unschuld durch dieses bittere, fluchbringende Wasser erweisen.20Wenn du aber deinem Mann untreu gewesen, wenn du unrein geworden bist und wenn ein anderer als dein eigener Mann mit dir geschlafen hat -21und nun soll der Priester die Frau mit einem Fluch beschwören und zu ihr sprechen -, dann wird der HERR dich zum Fluch und zum Schwur in deinem Volk machen. Der HERR wird deine Hüften einfallen und deinen Bauch anschwellen lassen.22Dieses fluchbringende Wasser wird in deine Eingeweide eindringen, sodass dein Bauch anschwillt und deine Hüften einfallen. Darauf soll die Frau antworten: Amen, amen.23Der Priester aber schreibt diese Flüche auf und wischt die Schrift sodann in das bittere Wasser.24Dann gibt er der Frau das bittere, fluchbringende Wasser zu trinken, damit dieses fluchbringende Wasser in sie eindringt und Bitternis bewirkt.25Der Priester nimmt aus der Hand der Frau das Eifersuchtsspeiseopfer, erhebt das Speiseopfer vor dem HERRN und bringt es auf dem Altar dar.26Der Priester nimmt von dem Speiseopfer eine Handvoll als Gedächtnisanteil weg und lässt ihn auf dem Altar in Rauch aufgehen. Dann erst lässt er die Frau das Wasser trinken. (Lv 2,2)27Sobald er sie das Wasser hat trinken lassen, wird das fluchbringende Wasser in sie eindringen und Bitternis bewirken, falls sie unrein und ihrem Mann untreu geworden ist: Es wird ihren Bauch anschwellen und ihre Hüften einfallen lassen, sodass die Frau in ihrem Volk zum Fluch wird. (Ex 32,20; Ž 109,18)28Wenn sie aber nicht unrein geworden, sondern rein ist, dann wird sich zeigen, dass sie unschuldig ist, und sie kann Kinder bekommen.29Das ist die Eifersuchtsweisung für den Fall, dass eine Frau ihren Mann betrügt und unrein geworden ist30oder dass in einem Mann Eifersucht wach wird, er auf sie eifersüchtig wird und sie vor den HERRN treten lässt. Wenn der Priester diese Weisung auf sie anwendet, (Mal 2,14)31dann ist der Mann von Schuld frei, die Frau aber muss die Folgen ihrer Schuld tragen.

Confession and Restitution
5And the Lord spoke to Moses, saying,6“Speak to the people of Israel, When a man or woman commits any of the sins that people commit by breaking faith with the Lord, and that person realizes his guilt, (Lv 6,2)7he shall confess his sin that he has committed.[2] And he shall make full restitution for his wrong, adding a fifth to it and giving it to him to whom he did the wrong. (Lv 5,5; Lv 6,5; Lv 26,40; Jz 7,19)8But if the man has no next of kin to whom restitution may be made for the wrong, the restitution for wrong shall go to the Lord for the priest, in addition to the ram of atonement with which atonement is made for him. (Lv 6,6)9And every contribution, all the holy donations of the people of Israel, which they bring to the priest, shall be his. (Ex 29,28; Lv 6,17; Lv 7,6; Lv 7,9; Lv 7,14; Nu 18,19; Dt 18,3)10Each one shall keep his holy donations: whatever anyone gives to the priest shall be his.”
A Test for Adultery
11And the Lord spoke to Moses, saying,12“Speak to the people of Israel, If any man’s wife goes astray and breaks faith with him,13if a man lies with her sexually, and it is hidden from the eyes of her husband, and she is undetected though she has defiled herself, and there is no witness against her, since she was not taken in the act, (Lv 18,20; J 8,4)14and if the spirit of jealousy comes over him and he is jealous of his wife who has defiled herself, or if the spirit of jealousy comes over him and he is jealous of his wife, though she has not defiled herself,15then the man shall bring his wife to the priest and bring the offering required of her, a tenth of an ephah[3] of barley flour. He shall pour no oil on it and put no frankincense on it, for it is a grain offering of jealousy, a grain offering of remembrance, bringing iniquity to remembrance. (Lv 2,1; Lv 2,15; Lv 5,11; 1Kr 17,18; Ez 29,16)16“And the priest shall bring her near and set her before the Lord.17And the priest shall take holy water in an earthenware vessel and take some of the dust that is on the floor of the tabernacle and put it into the water.18And the priest shall set the woman before the Lord and unbind the hair of the woman’s head and place in her hands the grain offering of remembrance, which is the grain offering of jealousy. And in his hand the priest shall have the water of bitterness that brings the curse. 1And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,2Command the children of Israel, that they put out of the camp every leper, and every one that hath an issue, and whosoever is defiled by the dead:3Both male and female shall ye put out, without the camp shall ye put them; that they defile not their camps, in the midst whereof I dwell.4And the children of Israel did so, and put them out without the camp: as the LORD spake unto Moses, so did the children of Israel.5And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,6Speak unto the children of Israel, When a man or woman shall commit any sin that men commit, to do a trespass against the LORD, and that person be guilty;7Then they shall confess their sin which they have done: and he shall recompense his trespass with the principal thereof, and add unto it the fifth part thereof, and give it unto him against whom he hath trespassed.8But if the man have no kinsman to recompense the trespass unto, let the trespass be recompensed unto the LORD, even to the priest; beside the ram of the atonement, whereby an atonement shall be made for him.9And every offering of all the holy things of the children of Israel, which they bring unto the priest, shall be his.10And every man' hallowed things shall be his: whatsoever any man giveth the priest, it shall be his.11And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,12Speak unto the children of Israel, and say unto them, If any man' wife go aside, and commit a trespass against him,13And a man lie with her carnally, and it be hid from the eyes of her husband, and be kept close, and she be defiled, and there be no witness against her, neither she be taken with the manner ;14And the spirit of jealousy come upon him, and he be jealous of his wife, and she be defiled: or if the spirit of jealousy come upon him, and he be jealous of his wife, and she be not defiled:15Then shall the man bring his wife unto the priest, and he shall bring her offering for her, the tenth part of an ephah of barley meal; he shall pour no oil upon it, nor put frankincense thereon; for it is an offering of jealousy, an offering of memorial, bringing iniquity to remembrance.16And the priest shall bring her near, and set her before the LORD:17And the priest shall take holy water in an earthen vessel; and of the dust that is in the floor of the tabernacle the priest shall take, and put it into the water:18And the priest shall set the woman before the LORD, and uncover the woman' head, and put the offering of memorial in her hands, which is the jealousy offering: and the priest shall have in his hand the bitter water that causeth the curse:19And the priest shall charge her by an oath, and say unto the woman, If no man have lain with thee, and if thou hast not gone aside to uncleanness with another instead of thy husband, be thou free from this bitter water that causeth the curse:20But if thou hast gone aside to another instead of thy husband, and if thou be defiled, and some man have lain with thee beside thine husband:21Then the priest shall charge the woman with an oath of cursing, and the priest shall say unto the woman, The LORD make thee a curse and an oath among thy people, when the LORD doth make thy thigh to rot, and thy belly to swell;22And this water that causeth the curse shall go into thy bowels, to make thy belly to swell, and thy thigh to rot: And the woman shall say, Amen, amen.23And the priest shall write these curses in a book, and he shall blot them out with the bitter water:24And he shall cause the woman to drink the bitter water that causeth the curse: and the water that causeth the curse shall enter into her, and become bitter.25Then the priest shall take the jealousy offering out of the woman' hand, and shall wave the offering before the LORD, and offer it upon the altar:26And the priest shall take an handful of the offering, even the memorial thereof, and burn it upon the altar, and afterward shall cause the woman to drink the water.27And when he hath made her to drink the water, then it shall come to pass, that , if she be defiled, and have done trespass against her husband, that the water that causeth the curse shall enter into her, and become bitter, and her belly shall swell, and her thigh shall rot: and the woman shall be a curse among her people.28And if the woman be not defiled, but be clean; then she shall be free, and shall conceive seed.29This is the law of jealousies, when a wife goeth aside to another instead of her husband, and is defiled;30Or when the spirit of jealousy cometh upon him, and he be jealous over his wife, and shall set the woman before the LORD, and the priest shall execute upon her all this law.31Then shall the man be guiltless from iniquity, and this woman shall bear her iniquity.
