1Tehdy přistoupily dcery Salfada, syna Heferova, syna Galád, syna Machir, syna Manasse, z pokolení Manasse, syna Jozefova. Tato pak jsou jména dcer jeho: Mahla, Noa, Hegla, Melcha a Tersa.2A postavily se před Mojžíšem a před Eleazarem knězem, i před knížaty a vším množstvím, u dveří stánku úmluvy, a řekly:3Otec náš umřel na poušti, kterýž však nebyl z spolku těch, kteříž se zrotili proti Hospodinu v rotě Chóre; nebo pro hřích svůj umřel, synů žádných nemaje.4Což vyhlazeno býti má jméno otce našeho z čeledi jeho, proto že neměl syna? Dej nám dědictví mezi bratřími otce našeho.5I vznesl tu věc Mojžíš na Hospodina.6Kterýž odpověděl Mojžíšovi, řka:7Dobře mluví dcery Salfad. Dejž jim bez odporu právo dědictví mezi bratřími otce jejich, a přenes dědictví otce jejich na ně.8K synům pak Izraelským toto mluviti budeš: Když by kdo umřel, nemaje syna, tedy přenesete dědictví jeho na dceru jeho.9Pakli by ani dcery neměl, tedy dáte dědictví jeho bratřím jeho.10Pakli by ani bratří neměl, tedy dáte dědictví jeho bratřím otce jeho.11Pakli by ani strýců neměl, tedy dáte dědictví jeho příteli jeho, kterýž jest nejbližší jemu v rodu jeho, aby dědičně obdržel je. A bude to synům Izraelským za ustanovení soudné, jakož přikázal Hospodin Mojžíšovi.12Řekl také Hospodin Mojžíšovi: Vstup na horu tuto Abarim, a spatř zemi, kterouž jsem dal synům Izraelským.13A když spatříš ji, připojen budeš k lidu svému i ty, jako připojen jest Aron bratr tvůj,14Poněvadž jste odporovali řeči mé na poušti Tsin, při odporování všeho množství, kdež jste mne měli posvětiti při vodách před očima jejich. To jsou ty vody sváru v Kádes, na poušti Tsin.15I řekl Mojžíš Hospodinu, řka:16Opatříš Hospodin Bůh duchů, Bůh všelikého těla, shromáždění toto mužem hodným,17Kterýž by vycházel před nimi, a kterýž by vcházel před nimi, kterýž by vyvodil a zase uvodil je, aby nebylo shromáždění Hospodinovo jako ovce, kteréž nemají pastýře.18I řekl Hospodin Mojžíšovi: Vezmi k sobě Jozue, syna Nun, muže, v kterémž jest duch můj, a vlož ruku svou na něj.19A postavě jej před Eleazarem knězem a přede vším shromážděním, dáš jemu naučení před očima jejich,20A udělíš jemu slávy své, aby ho poslouchalo všecko množství synů Izraelských.21Kterýž před Eleazarem knězem postavě se, ptáti se ho bude na soud urim před Hospodinem. K rozkazu jeho vyjdou, a k rozkazu jeho vejdou, on i všickni synové Izraelští s ním, a všecko shromáždění.22I učinil Mojžíš tak, jakž mu byl rozkázal Hospodin, a pojav Jozue, postavil jej před Eleazarem knězem a přede vším shromážděním.23A vloživ ruce své na něj, dal jemu naučení, jakž mluvil Hospodin skrze Mojžíše.
— Dědictví Selofchadových dcer - Nemá-li zemřelý muž syna, připadá dědictví dcerám nebo dalším příbuzným.
1 Tehdy přistoupily dcery Selofchada, syna Chefera, syna Gileáda, syna Makíra, syna Manasesa z čeledi Manasesa, syna Josefova. Jména jeho dcer byla: Machla, Nóa, Chogla, Milka a Tirsa.2 Postavily se před Mojžíše a před kněze Eleazara i před předáky a celou pospolitost ke vchodu do stanu setkávání a řekly:3 „Náš otec zemřel na poušti, ale nebyl ve skupině těch, kdo se smluvili proti Hospodinu, ve skupině Kórachově; umřel za svůj hřích a neměl syny.4 Proč má být vymazáno jméno našeho otce z jeho čeledi proto, že nemá syna? Dej nám trvalé vlastnictví mezi bratry našeho otce.“5Mojžíš tedy předložil jejich právní záležitost Hospodinu. 6 Hospodin řekl Mojžíšovi:7 „Selofchadovy dcery mluví o tom oprávněně. Přiděl jim dědičně trvalé vlastnictví mezi bratry jejich otce a převeď na ně dědictví po jejich otci.8 Mluv k Izraelcům takto: Když někdo zemře a nemá syna, převedete dědictví po něm na jeho dceru.9 Jestliže nemá ani dceru, dáte dědictví po něm jeho bratrům.10Jestliže nemá ani bratry, dáte dědictví po něm bratrům jeho otce.11Jestliže nejsou ani bratři po jeho otci, dáte dědictví po něm jeho nejbližšímu příbuznému z jeho čeledi; ten je obdrží.“ To se stalo pro Izraelce právním nařízením, jak přikázal Hospodin Mojžíšovi.
OHLÁŠENÍ MOJŽÍŠOVY SMRTI - Mojžíš spatří zaslíbenou zemi zdálky. Hospodin dá lidu nového vůdce, Jozua.
12 Hospodin řekl Mojžíšovi: „Vystup na toto pohoří Abárím a pohlédni na zemi, kterou jsem dal Izraelcům.13 Až ji uvidíš, budeš i ty připojen ke svému lidu, tak jako k němu byl připojen tvůj bratr Áron.14 Vzepřeli jste se mému rozkazu na poušti Sinu, když se pospolitost pustila se mnou do sváru, místo abyste dosvědčili před jejich zraky při těch vodách mou svatost.“ To jsou kádešské Vody sváru na poušti Sinu. 15 Mojžíš promluvil k Hospodinu:16 „Nechť Hospodin, Bůh duchů všech tvorů, ustanoví nad pospolitostí muže,17 který by před nimi vycházel a vcházel a který by je vyváděl a přiváděl, aby Hospodinova pospolitost nebyla jako ovce bez pastýře.“18 I řekl Hospodin Mojžíšovi: „Vezmi k sobě Jozua, syna Núnova, muže, v němž je duch, a vlož na něho ruku.19 Postavíš ho před kněze Eleazara i před celou pospolitost a dáš mu před jejich zraky pověření.20 Předáš mu díl své velebnosti, aby ho celá pospolitost synů izraelských poslouchala.21 Bude se stavět před kněze Eleazara a ten se bude pro něho Hospodina vyptávat na rozhodnutí pomocí urímu. Na jeho rozkaz budou vycházet a na jeho rozkaz budou vcházet, on a s ním všichni Izraelci, tedy celá pospolitost.“22 Mojžíš učinil, co mu Hospodin přikázal. Vzal Jozua a postavil ho před kněze Eleazara i před celou pospolitost,23 vložil na něho ruce a dal mu pověření, jak o tom mluvil Hospodin skrze Mojžíše.

Jeho dcery se jmenovaly Machla, Noa, Chogla, Milka a Tirsa.2Postavily se před Mojžíše, před kněze Eleazara, před vůdce a před celou obec ke vchodu do Stanu setkávání a řekly:3„Náš otec zemřel na poušti, ale nepatřil k té tlupě, která se srotila proti Hospodinu, k tlupě Korachově. Zemřel pro svůj vlastní hřích, aniž měl syny.4Má jméno našeho otce vymizet z jeho rodu jen proto, že neměl syna? Přiděl nám dědičné vlastnictví mezi bratry našeho otce.“5Mojžíš tedy jejich případ přednesl Hospodinu.6Hospodin Mojžíšovi řekl:7„Celofchadovy dcery mluví správně. Bezodkladně jim přiděl dědičné vlastnictví mezi bratry jejich otce; dědictví jejich otce převeď na ně.8K synům Izraele pak promluv takto: Když někdo zemře, aniž měl syna, převedete jeho dědictví na jeho dceru.9Kdyby neměl ani dceru, přidělíte jeho dědictví jeho bratrům.10Kdyby neměl ani bratry, přidělíte jeho dědictví bratrům jeho otce.11Kdyby ani jeho otec neměl bratry, přidělíte jeho dědictví nejbližšímu příbuznému z jeho rodu a ten je obdrží.“ A to se pro syny Izraele stalo právním ustanovením, jak Hospodin přikázal Mojžíšovi.
Nový vůdce
12Hospodin Mojžíšovi řekl: „Vystup na toto pohoří Abarim a pohleď na zem, kterou dávám synům Izraele.13Až ji spatříš, budeš i ty připojen ke svému lidu, jako byl k němu připojen tvůj bratr Áron.14To proto, že jste se vzepřeli mému příkazu na poušti Cin, kde se obec se mnou pustila do sváru, místo abyste před nimi prokázali mou svatost.“ To je ta Mej-meriba, Voda sváru, v Kádeši na poušti Cin.[1]15Mojžíš Hospodinu odpověděl:16„Ó Hospodine, Bože duchů veškerého tvorstva! Opatři této obci někoho,17kdo by před nimi vycházel i vcházel, kdo by je vyváděl i uváděl, aby Hospodinova obec nebyla jako ovce bez pastýře.“18Hospodin Mojžíšovi řekl: „Jozue, syn Nunův, je muž, ve kterém přebývá Duch. Vezmi jej k sobě a vlož na něj ruku.19Postav jej před kněze Eleazara a před očima celé obce mu dej pověření.20Předej mu svou důstojnost, aby jej celá izraelská obec poslouchala.21Ať se postaví před kněze Eleazara. Ten se za něj bude dotazovat na Hospodinova rozhodnutí pomocí urim.[2] Na jeho rozkaz budou vycházet a na jeho rozkaz budou vcházet – on a s ním všichni synové Izraele, totiž celá obec.“22Mojžíš tedy učinil, jak mu Hospodin přikázal. Vzal Jozua, postavil ho před kněze Eleazara a před celou obec,23vložil na něj ruce a dal mu pověření, jak o tom Hospodin promluvil skrze Mojžíše.

Gib uns Grundbesitz bei den Brüdern unseres Vaters!5Da übergab Mose ihre Rechtssache dem HERRN6und der HERR sprach zu Mose:7Die Töchter Zelofhads haben recht geredet. Du musst ihnen vererbbaren Grundbesitz bei den Brüdern ihres Vaters geben, also den Erbbesitz ihres Vaters auf sie übertragen. (Nu 36,2; Jz 17,4; Jb 42,15)8Sag zu den Israeliten: Wenn jemand ohne Sohn stirbt, dann übertragt seinen Erbbesitz auf seine Tochter!9Hat er keine Tochter, dann gebt seinen Erbbesitz seinen Brüdern!10Hat er keine Brüder, dann gebt seinen Erbbesitz den Brüdern seines Vaters!11Hat sein Vater keine Brüder, dann gebt seinen Erbbesitz dem nächsten Verwandten aus seiner Sippe; er soll ihn erben. Das werde für die Israeliten zur Satzung und zum Rechtsentscheid, wie der HERR es Mose geboten hatte.
Josuas Berufung
12Der HERR sprach zu Mose: Steig auf das Abarimgebirge dort und sieh dir das Land an, das ich den Israeliten gegeben habe! (Nu 31,2; Dt 1,37; Dt 3,23; Dt 4,21; Dt 31,1; Dt 32,48; Dt 33,1; Dt 34,1)13Wenn du es gesehen hast, wirst auch du mit deinen Vorfahren vereint werden wie dein Bruder Aaron; (Nu 20,22)14denn ihr habt euch in der Wüste Zin meinem Befehl widersetzt, als die Gemeinde haderte und ihr durch das Wasser vor ihren Augen hättet bezeugen sollen, dass ich der Heilige bin. Das ist das Haderwasser von Kadesch in der Wüste Zin. (Nu 20,2)15Da sagte Mose zum HERRN:16Der HERR, der Gott des Lebensatems für alles Fleisch, setze einen Mann über die Gemeinde ein, (Nu 16,22)17der vor ihnen auszieht und vor ihnen einzieht, der sie hinausführt und hineinführt; die Gemeinde des HERRN soll nicht sein wie Schafe und Ziegen, die keinen Hirten haben. 1Then drew near the daughters of Zelophehad the son of Hepher, son of Gilead, son of Machir, son of Manasseh, from the clans of Manasseh the son of Joseph. The names of his daughters were: Mahlah, Noah, Hoglah, Milcah, and Tirzah. Joshua to Succeed Moses
12The Lord said to Moses, “Go up into this mountain of Abarim and see the land that I have given to the people of Israel. (Nu 21,11; Nu 33,44; Nu 33,47; Dt 3,27; Dt 32,49; Dt 34,1)13When you have seen it, you also shall be gathered to your people, as your brother Aaron was, (Nu 20,24)14because you rebelled against my word in the wilderness of Zin when the congregation quarreled, failing to uphold me as holy at the waters before their eyes.” (These are the waters of Meribah of Kadesh in the wilderness of Zin.)
