1I stalo se, když dokonal Ježíš řeči tyto, bral se z Galilee, a přišel do končin Judských za Jordán.2I šli za ním zástupové mnozí, a uzdravil je tam.3I přistoupili k němu farizeové, pokoušejíce ho a řkouce jemu: Sluší-li člověku propustiti ženu svou z kterékoli příčiny?4On pak odpovídaje, řekl jim: Což jste nečtli, že ten, jenž stvořil člověka s počátku, muže a ženu učinil je?5A řekl: Protož opustí člověk otce i matku, a připojí se k manželce své, i budou dva jedno tělo.6A tak již nejsou dva, ale jedno tělo. A protož, což jest Bůh spojil, člověk nerozlučuj.7Řekli jemu: Pročež tedy Mojžíš rozkázal dáti list zapuzení a propustiti jí?8Dí jim: Mojžíš pro tvrdost srdce vašeho dopustil vám propouštěti manželky vaše, ale s počátku nebylo tak.9Protož pravím vám: Že kdožkoli propustil by manželku svou, (leč pro smilství) a jinou pojme, cizoloží, a kdož propuštěnou pojme, také cizoloží.10Řekli jemu učedlníci jeho: Poněvadž jest taková pře s manželkou, není dobré ženiti se.11On pak řekl jim: Ne všickniť chápají slova toho, ale ti toliko, jimž jest dáno.12Jsouť zajisté panicové, kteříž se tak z života matky zrodili; a jsouť panicové, kteříž učiněni jsou od lidí; a jsou panicové, kteříž se sami v panictví oddali pro království nebeské. Kdo může pochopiti, pochop.13Tehdy přineseny jsou k němu dítky, aby na ně ruce vzkládal a modlil se za ně. Učedlníci pak přimlouvali jim.14Ale Ježíš řekl jim: Nechte dítek a nebraňte jim jíti ke mně; nebo takovýchť jest království nebeské.15A po vzkládání na ně rukou odebral se odtud.16A aj, jeden přistoupiv, řekl jemu: Mistře dobrý, co dobrého budu činiti, abych měl život věčný?17A on řekl jemu: Co mne nazýváš dobrým? Žádný není dobrý, než jediný, totiž Bůh. Chceš-li pak vjíti do života, ostříhej přikázání.18Dí jemu: Kterých? A Ježíš řekl mu: Nezabiješ, nezcizoložíš, nepokradeš, nepromluvíš křivého svědectví,19Cti otce svého i matku, a milovati budeš bližního svého jako sebe samého.20Dí jemu mládenec: Všeho toho ostříhal jsem od své mladosti. Čehož mi se ještě nedostává?21Řekl mu Ježíš: Chceš-li dokonalým býti, jdiž a prodej statek svůj, a rozdej chudým, a budeš míti poklad v nebi, a pojď, následuj mne.22Uslyšev pak mládenec tu řeč, odšel, smuten jsa; nebo měl statku mnoho.23Tedy Ježíš řekl učedlníkům svým: Amen pravím vám, že bohatý nesnadně vejde do království nebeského.24A opět pravím vám: Snázeť jest velbloudu skrze ucho jehly projíti, nežli bohatému vjíti do království Božího.25A uslyšavše to učedlníci jeho, i užasli se velmi, řkouce: I kdož tedy může spasen býti?26A pohleděv na ně Ježíš, řekl jim: U lidíť jest to nemožné, ale u Boha všecko jest možné.27Tehdy odpověděv Petr, řekl mu: Aj, my opustili jsme všecky věci, a šli jsme za tebou. Což pak nám bude dáno za to?28A Ježíš řekl jim: Amen pravím vám, že vy, kteříž jste následovali mne, v druhém narození, když se posadí Syn člověka na trůnu velebnosti své, sednete i vy na dvanácti stolicích, soudíce dvanáctero pokolení Izraelské.29A každý, kdož opustil by domy, nebo bratry, neb sestry, neb otce, neb matku, nebo manželku, nebo syny, nebo pole pro jméno mé, stokrát více vezme, a život věčný dědičně obdrží.30Mnozí pak první budou poslední, a poslední první.

Od počátku to však nebylo.9 Pravím vám, kdo propustí svou manželku z jiného důvodu než pro smilstvo a vezme si jinou, cizoloží.“ 10 Učedníci mu řekli: „Jestliže je to s mužem a ženou takové, pak je lépe se neženit.“11 On jim odpověděl: „Ne všichni pochopí to slovo; jen ti, kterým je to dáno.12 Někteří nežijí v manželství, protože jsou k tomu od narození nezpůsobilí; jiní nežijí v manželství, protože je nezpůsobilými učinili lidé; a někteří nežijí v manželství, protože se ho zřekli pro království nebeské. Kdo to může pochopit, pochop.“

13 Tehdy k němu přinášeli děti, aby na ně vložil ruce a pomodlil se; ale učedníci jim to zakazovali.14 Ježíš však řekl: „Nechte děti a nebraňte jim jít ke mně; neboť takovým patří království nebeské.“15 Požehnal jim a šel dál.
— Bohatý mladík
16 A hle, kdosi k němu přišel a zeptal se ho: „Mistře, co dobrého mám dělat, abych získal věčný život?“17 On mu řekl: „Proč se mě ptáš na dobré? Jediný je dobrý! A chceš-li vejít do života, zachovávej přikázání!“18 Otázal se ho: „Která?“ Ježíš odpověděl: „Nebudeš zabíjet, cizoložit, krást, křivě svědčit,19 cti otce a matku, miluj svého bližního jako sám sebe.“20 Mladík mu řekl: „To jsem všechno dodržoval! Co mi ještě schází?“21 Ježíš mu odpověděl: „Chceš-li být dokonalý, jdi, prodej, co ti patří, rozdej chudým, a budeš mít poklad v nebi; pak přijď a následuj mne.“22 Když mladík uslyšel to slovo, smuten odešel, neboť měl mnoho majetku.

23 Ježíš řekl svým učedníkům: „Amen, pravím vám, že bohatý těžko vejde do království nebeského.24 Znovu vám říkám, snáze projde velbloud uchem jehly než bohatý do Božího království.“25 Když to učedníci slyšeli, velice se zhrozili a řekli: „Kdo potom může být spasen?“26 Ježíš na ně pohleděl a řekl: „U lidí je to nemožné, ale u Boha je možné všecko.“ 27 Na to mu řekl Petr: „Hle, my jsme opustili všecko a šli jsme za tebou! Co tedy budeme mít?“28 Ježíš jim řekl: „Amen, pravím vám, až se Syn člověka při obnovení všeho posadí na trůn své slávy, tehdy i vy, kteří jste mě následovali, usednete na dvanáct trůnů a budete soudit dvanáct pokolení Izraele.29 A každý, kdo opustil domy nebo bratry nebo sestry nebo otce nebo matku nebo děti nebo pole pro mé jméno, stokrát víc dostane a bude mít podíl na věčném životě.30 Mnozí první budou poslední a poslední první.“

Kdo to může přijmout, ať to přijme.“
Kdo vejde do Království
13Tehdy k němu přinesli malé děti, aby na ně vkládal ruce a modlil se, ale učedníci je okřikovali.14Ježíš však řekl: „Nechte děti a nebraňte jim přicházet ke mně – vždyť právě takovým patří nebeské království!“15Vkládal tedy na ně ruce a pak odtud odešel.16Vtom k němu přišel jeden muž s otázkou: „Mistře, co dobrého mám udělat, abych měl věčný život?“17On mu však řekl: „Proč se mě vyptáváš na dobro? Jen Jediný je dobrý. Chceš-li ale vejít do života, dodržuj přikázání.“18„A která?“ zeptal se. Ježíš odpověděl: „‚Nezabíjej, necizolož, nekraď, nelži,19cti otce i matku‘[5] a ‚miluj svého bližního jako sám sebe.‘“[6]20„To všechno dodržuji,“ řekl mladík. „Co mi ještě schází?“21Ježíš odpověděl: „Chceš-li být dokonalý, jdi, prodej svůj majetek, rozdej ho chudým, a budeš mít poklad v nebi. Pojď a následuj mě.“22Když to ten mladík uslyšel, smutně odešel. Měl totiž mnoho majetku.23Tehdy Ježíš řekl svým učedníkům: „Amen, říkám vám, pro boháče je nesnadné vstoupit do nebeského království.24A říkám vám znovu: To spíše projde velbloud uchem jehly než boháč do Božího království.“25Když to učedníci uslyšeli, byli naprosto ohromeni. „Kdo tedy může být spasen?“ ptali se.26Ježíš se na ně podíval a řekl: „U lidí je to nemožné, ale u Boha je možné všechno.“27„Podívej se,“ ozval se Petr, „my jsme všechno opustili a šli za tebou. Co bude s námi?“28Ježíš odpověděl: „Amen, říkám vám, kteří jste mě následovali, že při znovuzrození světa, až se Syn člověka posadí na trůnu své slávy, budete i vy sedět na dvanácti trůnech a budete soudit dvanáct pokolení Izraele.29A každý, kdo pro mé jméno opustil domy nebo bratry nebo sestry nebo otce nebo matku[7] nebo děti nebo pole, získá stokrát více a obdrží za dědictví věčný život.30Mnozí první pak budou poslední a poslední první.“

Über die Ehe, Ehescheidung und Ehelosigkeit
3Da kamen Pharisäer zu ihm, um ihn zu versuchen, und fragten: Darf man seine Frau aus jedem beliebigen Grund aus der Ehe entlassen? (Mt 16,1; Mt 22,18; Mk 10,2)4Er antwortete: Habt ihr nicht gelesen, dass der Schöpfer sie am Anfang männlich und weiblich erschaffen hat (Gn 1,27)5und dass er gesagt hat: Darum wird der Mann Vater und Mutter verlassen und sich an seine Frau binden und die zwei werden ein Fleisch sein? (Gn 2,24)6Sie sind also nicht mehr zwei, sondern ein Fleisch. Was aber Gott verbunden hat, das darf der Mensch nicht trennen.7Sie sagten zu ihm: Wozu hat dann Mose vorgeschrieben, der Frau eine Scheidungsurkunde zu geben und sie aus der Ehe zu entlassen? (Dt 24,1; Mt 5,31)8Er antwortete: Nur weil ihr so hartherzig seid, hat Mose euch gestattet, eure Frauen aus der Ehe zu entlassen. Am Anfang war das nicht so.9Ich sage euch: Wer seine Frau entlässt, obwohl kein Fall von Unzucht vorliegt, und eine andere heiratet, der begeht Ehebruch. (Mt 5,32; L 16,18)10Da sagten seine Jünger zu ihm: Wenn das Verhältnis des Mannes zur Frau so ist, dann ist es nicht gut zu heiraten.11Jesus sagte zu ihnen: Nicht alle können dieses Wort erfassen, sondern nur die, denen es gegeben ist.12Denn manche sind von Geburt an zur Ehe unfähig, manche sind von den Menschen dazu gemacht und manche haben sich selbst dazu gemacht - um des Himmelreiches willen. Wer es erfassen kann, der erfasse es.
Die Segnung der Kinder
13Da brachte man Kinder zu ihm, damit er ihnen die Hände auflegte und für sie betete. Die Jünger aber wiesen die Leute zurecht. (Mk 10,13; L 18,15)14Doch Jesus sagte: Lasst die Kinder und hindert sie nicht, zu mir zu kommen! Denn Menschen wie ihnen gehört das Himmelreich. (Mt 18,3)15Dann legte er ihnen die Hände auf und zog von dort weiter.
Reichtum und Nachfolge
16Und siehe, da kam ein Mann zu Jesus und fragte: Meister, was muss ich Gutes tun, um das ewige Leben zu gewinnen? (Mk 10,17; L 18,18)17Er antwortete: Was fragst du mich nach dem Guten? Nur einer ist der Gute. Wenn du aber in das Leben eintreten willst, halte die Gebote!18Darauf fragte er ihn: Welche? Jesus antwortete: Du sollst nicht töten, du sollst nicht die Ehe brechen, du sollst nicht stehlen, du sollst kein falsches Zeugnis geben; (Ex 20,12; Lv 19,18; Dt 5,16)19ehre Vater und Mutter! Und: Du sollst deinen Nächsten lieben wie dich selbst!20Der junge Mann erwiderte ihm: Alle diese Gebote habe ich befolgt. Was fehlt mir noch?21Jesus antwortete ihm: Wenn du vollkommen sein willst, geh, verkauf deinen Besitz und gib ihn den Armen; und du wirst einen Schatz im Himmel haben; und komm, folge mir nach! Let the Children Come to Me
13Then children were brought to him that he might lay his hands on them and pray. The Rich Young Man
