1 Jozue pak již byl starý a sešlý věkem. I řekl jemu Hospodin: Tys se již sstaral, a jsi sešlého věku, země pak zůstává velmi mnoho k opanování. 2 Tato jest země, kteráž zůstává: Všecky končiny Filistinské a všecka Gessuri, 3 Od Níle, kterýž jest naproti Egyptu, až ku pomezí Akaron na půlnoci, kterážto krajina Kananejským se přičítá, v níž jest patero knížetství Filistinských: Gazejské, Azotské, Aškalonitské, Getejské a Akaronitské, a to bylo Hevejské; 4 Na poledne pak všecka země Kananejská a Mára, kteréž jest Sidonských až do Afeka, a až ku pomezí Amorejského; 5 Též země Giblická, a všecken Libán k východu slunce, od Balgad pod horou Hermon, až kde se vchází do Emat. 6 Všecky obyvatele té hory, od Libánu až k vodám Maserefot, všecky Sidonské já vyženu od tváři synů Izraelských; toliko ty rozděl ji losem lidu Izraelskému v dědictví, jakožť jsem přikázal. 7 Protož nyní rozděl zemi tu v dědictví devateru pokolení, a polovici pokolení Manassesova, 8 Poněvadž druhá polovice a pokolení Rubenovo a Gádovo vzali díl svůj, kterýž jim dal Mojžíš před Jordánem k východu, jakož dal jim Mojžíš služebník Hospodinův, 9 Od Aroer, kteréž jest při břehu potoka Arnon, i města u prostřed potoka, i všecky roviny Medaba až do Dibon, 10 I všecka města Seona, krále Amorejského, kterýž kraloval v Ezebon, až ku pomezí synů Ammon, 11 A Galád, i pomezí Gessuri a Machati, všecku horu Hermon, i všecken Bázan až do Sálecha, 12 Všecko království Oga v Bázan, kterýž kraloval v Astarot a v Edrei, kterýž byl pozůstal z ostatků Refaim, když je pobil Mojžíš, a zahladil je. 13 Nevyhnali pak synové Izraelští Gessuri a Machati, protož bydlil Gessura a Machata u prostřed Izraele až do dnešního dne. 14 Toliko pokolení Léví nedal dědictví; oběti ohnivé Hospodina Boha Izraelského jsou dědictví jeho, jakož mluvil jemu. 15 Dal pak Mojžíš pokolení synů Ruben po čeledech jejich dědictví. 16 A bylo jejich pomezí od Aroer, kteréž jest při břehu potoka Arnon, i město, kteréž jest u prostřed potoka, i všecky roviny, kteréž jsou při Medaba, 17 Ezebon i všecka města jeho, kteráž byla na rovinách, Dibon a Bamotbal a Betbalmeon, 18 Jasa a Kedemot a Mefat, 19 A Kariataim a Sabma, a Saratazar na hoře údolí, 20 A Betfegor i Assedot, Fazga a Betsimot. 21 Všecka také města v kraji, i všecko království Seona, krále Amorejského, kterýž kraloval v Ezebon, jehožto zabil Mojžíš i s knížaty Madianskými, Evi i Rekem, Sur, Hur a Rebe, vývodami Seonovými, obyvateli té země. 22 Ano i Baláma, syna Beorova, věšťce, zabili synové Izraelští mečem, s jinými, kteříž zbiti od nich. 23 I bylo pomezí synů Rubenových Jordán s mezemi svými. To jest dědictví synů Rubenových po čeledech jejich, města i vsi jejich. 24 Dal také Mojžíš pokolení Gád, synům Gádovým, po čeledech jejich dědictví. 25 A bylo jejich pomezí Jazer i všecka města Galád, a polovice země synů Ammon až do Aroer, kteréž jest naproti Rabba, 26 A od Ezebon až do Rámot, Masfe a Betonim, a od Mahanaim až ku pomezí Dabir; 27 V údolí také Betaram a Betnemra, a Sochot, a Sefon, ostatek království Seona, krále Ezebon, i Jordán s pomezím svým až k kraji moře Ceneret za Jordánem na východ. 28 To jest dědictví synů Gád po čeledech jejich, města i vsi jejich. 29 Dal také Mojžíš polovici pokolení Manassesova dědictví, i bylo polovice pokolení synů Manassesových, po čeledech jejich. 30 Pomezí jejich od Mahanaim, všecken Bázan, všecko království Oga, krále Bázan, i všecky vesnice Jair, kteréž jsou v Bázan, šedesáte měst, 31 A polovice Galád, a Astarot, a Edrei, města království Oga v Bázan. To dal synům Machirovým, syna Manassesova, polovici synů Machirových, po čeledech jejich. 32 Ta jsou dědictví, kteráž rozdělil Mojžíš na rovinách Moábských před Jordánem proti Jerichu k východu. 33 Pokolení pak Léví nedal Mojžíš dědictví; Hospodin Bůh Izraelský jest dědictví jejich, jakož mluvil jim.

ROZDĚLENÍ ZASLÍBENÉ ZEMĚ - — Příkaz o rozdělení země - Hospodin pověřuje Jozua, aby přidělil do vlastnictví dosud neobsazenou zemi.

1 Jozue byl stařec pokročilého věku. Hospodin mu řekl: „Ty jsi zestárl a sešel věkem, ale zbývá ještě velmi mnoho země, kterou je nutno obsadit. 2 Toto je země, kterou zbývá přidělit: všechny oblasti pelištejské a celá oblast gešúrská, 3 od ramene řeky při hranicích Egypta až na sever k pomezí Ekrónu, jež se počítá za kenaanské, pět pelištejských knížectví, Gázské, Ašdódské, Aškalónské, Gatské a Ekrónské, a oblast avíjská 4 na jihu; dále celá kenaanská země i Meára, patřící Sidóňanům, po Afek, až k pomezí Emorejců, 5 země gebalská a celý Libanón na východ od Baal-gádu pod Chermónským pohořím až k cestě do Chamátu. 6 Všechny obyvatele pohoří od Libanónu až k Misrefót-majimu, všechny Sidóňany, vyženu před Izraelci já sám. Jen přiděl zemi losem Izraeli za dědictví, jak jsem ti přikázal. 7 Rozděl nyní tuto zemi do dědictví devíti kmenům a polovině kmene Manasesova.“ 8 S druhou polovinou vzali svůj dědičný podíl Rúbenovci a Gádovci; Mojžíš jim jej dal v Zajordání na východě. Mojžíš, služebník Hospodinův, jim dal tento díl: 9 od Aróeru na břehu potoka Arnónu a od města, které je uprostřed Potočního údolí, celou náhorní rovinu od Médeby k Dibónu, 10 všechna města Síchona, krále emorejského, který kraloval v Chešbónu, až k pomezí Amónovců; 11 Gileád a pomezí gešúrské a maakatské, celé pohoří Chermón a celý Bášan až do Salky, 12 celé království Óga v Bášanu, který kraloval v Aštarótu a v Edreí. Ten zůstal ze zbytku Refájců, které Mojžíš porazil a podrobil si je. 13 Ale Gešúrejce a Maakaťany si Izraelci nepodrobili. Proto Gešúr a Maakat sídlí uprostřed Izraele až dodnes. 14 Jenom kmenu Léviho nedal dědičný podíl. Bude jíst z ohnivých obětí Hospodina, Boha Izraele; on bude jeho dědičným podílem, jak jej ujistil.

15 Mojžíš tedy dal pokolení Rúbenovců pro jejich čeledi dědičný podíl. 16 Patřilo jim území od Aróeru na břehu potoka Arnónu a města, které je uprostřed Potočního údolí, celá náhorní rovina až k Médebě, 17 Chešbón a všechna jeho města, která leží na náhorní rovině, Dibón, Bamót-baal, Bét-baal-meón, 18 Jahsa, Kedemót, Méfaat, 19 Kirjatajim, Sibma a Seret-šachar na hoře v dolině, 20 Bét-peór, srázy Pisgy a Bét-ješimót, 21 všechna města na náhorní rovině, celé království Síchona, krále emorejského, který kraloval v Chešbónu. Toho Mojžíš porazil spolu s midjánskými předáky Evím, Rekemem, Súrem, Chúrem a Rebaem, vazaly Síchonovými, obyvateli té země. 22 Též Bileáma, syna Beórova, věštce, popravili Izraelci mečem jako ostatní skolené. 23 Hranicí Rúbenovců byl Jordán a přilehlé území. Tato města a jejich dvorce jsou dědičným podílem Rúbenovců pro jejich čeledi. 24 Mojžíš dal také pokolení Gádovu, Gádovcům, pro jejich čeledi dědičný podíl. 25 Patřilo jim toto území: Jaezer a všechna gileádská města, polovina země Amónovců až k Aróeru naproti Rabě 26 a od Chešbónu až k Ramat-mispě a Betonímu a od Machanajimu až k pomezí Lidbiru, 27 v dolině Bét-rám a Bét-nimra, Sukót a Safón, zbytek království Síchona, krále chešbónského, s Jordánem jako hranicí až k břehům moře Kineretského z východní strany Jordánu. 28 Tato města a jejich dvorce jsou dědičným podílem Gádovců pro jejich čeledi. 29 Mojžíš dal i polovině kmene Manasesova dědičný podíl; patřil zajordánské polovině pokolení Manasesovců pro jejich čeledi. 30 Jejich území se prostíralo od Machanajimu: celý Bášan, celé království Óga, krále bášanského, se všemi vesnicemi Jaírovými v Bášanu, celkem šedesát měst, 31 polovice Gileádu i Aštarót a Edreí, Ógova královská města v Bášanu. Připadly synům Makíra, syna Manasesova, totiž polovině Makírovců, pro jejich čeledi. 32 To jsou dědičné podíly, které Mojžíš přidělil v Moábských pustinách naproti Jerichu za Jordánem k východu. 33 Kmenu Léviho však Mojžíš dědičný podíl nedal. Hospodin, Bůh Izraele, bude jejich dědičným podílem, jak je ujistil.

Ještě zbývá mnoho země

1 Jozue byl už stařec pokročilého věku. Hospodin mu řekl: „Jsi starý a sešlý věkem, ale ještě je velmi mnoho země, kterou zbývá obsadit. 2 Toto je zbývající zem: Celé území Filištínů a Gešurců 3 od řeky Šichor před Egyptem až k severní hranici u Ekronu (který se přičítá Kanaáncům) – pětice filištínských států: Gaza, Ašdod, Aškelon, Gat a Ekron. Dále území Avijců 4 na jihu. Dále celé území Kanaánců od sidonské Ary až po Afek u emorejské hranice. 5 Dále území Gebalských a celý Libanon na východ od Baal-gádu pod horou Hermon až k Lebo-chamátu. 6 Všechny obyvatele hor, od Libanonu až k Misrefot-majim, všechny Sidonce já sám před syny Izraele vyženu. Zbývá jen rozdělit tu zem Izraeli losem na dědičné podíly, jak jsem ti přikázal.^[1] 7 Proto teď rozděl tuto zemi jako dědictví devíti kmenům a polovině kmene Manasesova.“

Území na východě

8 Druhá polovina Manasese a synové Rubenovi a Gádovi už své dědictví dostali, neboť jim je dal Mojžíš na východní straně Jordánu. Hospodinův služebník Mojžíš jim přidělil toto území: 9 Od Aroeru na břehu potoka Arnon, včetně města uprostřed onoho údolí, celou medebskou náhorní rovinu až k Dibonu. 10 Dále všechna města emorejského krále Sichona, který vládl v Chešbonu, až k hranicím Amonců. 11 Dále Gileád, gešurské i maachatské pomezí, celou horu Hermon a celý Bášan až po Salchu, 12 totiž celé bášanské království Oga, který patřil k přeživším Refajcům a vládl v Aštarotu a v Edrei. Ty všechny Mojžíš porazil a vyhnal. 13 Gešurské a Maachatské ale synové Izraele nevyhnali, a tak Gešur a Maachat žijí uprostřed Izraele až dodnes. 14 Kmenu Levi však Mojžíš jako jedinému žádné dědictví nepřidělil. Jejich dědictvím jsou ohnivé oběti Hospodinu, Bohu Izraele, jak jim pověděl.^[2]

Ruben

15 Toto dal Mojžíš pokolení Ruben pro jejich rody: 16 Území od Aroeru na břehu potoka Arnon, včetně města uprostřed onoho údolí; dále celá náhorní rovina u Medeby, 17 Chešbon i všechna města na náhorní rovině: Dibon, Bamot-baal, Bet-baalmeon, 18 Jahca, Kedemot, Mefaat, 19 Kiriatajim, Sibma, Ceret-šachar na kopci v údolí, 20 Bet-peor, úbočí Pisgy a Bet-ješimot 21 – všechna města té náhorní roviny a celé království emorejského krále Sichona, který vládl v Chešbonu. Mojžíš ho porazil stejně jako midiánské prince, Sichonovy vazaly Eviho, Rekema, Cura, Chura a Revu, kteří v té zemi bydlili. 22 Kromě těch, které pobili v boji, synové Izraele zabili mečem také věštce Balaáma, syna Beorova. 23 Hranici synů Rubenových tvořil břeh Jordánu. To je dědictví Rubenových synů pro jejich rody – tato města a přilehlé osady.

Gád

24 Toto dal Mojžíš pokolení Gád, synům Gádovým pro jejich rody: 25 Území Jaezeru a všechna gileádská města, polovina země Amonců až k Aroeru naproti Rabě, 26 dále od Chešbonu až k Ramat-micpe a Betonim a od Machanajim až k pomezí Debiru; 27 v údolí pak Bet-ram, Bet-nimra, Sukot a Cafon se zbytkem království chešbonského krále Sichona (východní břeh Jordánu až k okraji Galilejského jezera). 28 To je dědictví Gádových synů pro jejich rody – tato města a přilehlé osady.

Východní Manases

29 Toto dal Mojžíš polovině Manasesova kmene, totiž polovině Manasesova pokolení pro jejich rody: 30 Území od Machanajim přes celý Bášan, přes celé království bášanského krále Oga: všech šedesát městeček, jež patří k Chavot-jair v Bášanu; 31 dále polovina Gileádu a také Aštarot a Edrei, Ogova královská města v Bášanu. To dostali synové Machira, syna Manasesova, pro polovinu Machirových synů podle jejich rodů. 32 Toto jsou dědictví, která Mojžíš udělil na moábských pláních na východní straně Jordánu naproti Jerichu. 33 Kmenu Levi však Mojžíš dědictví nedal. Jejich dědictvím je Hospodin, Bůh Izraele, jak jim pověděl.^[3]

1 Als Josua alt und hochbetagt war, sagte der HERR zu ihm: Du bist alt und hochbetagt, aber vom Land bleibt noch sehr viel in Besitz zu nehmen. 2 Das ist das Land, das noch übrig ist: alle Bezirke der Philister und das ganze Gebiet der Geschuriter 3 vom Schihor-Fluss östlich von Ägypten bis zum Gebiet von Ekron im Norden - es wird den Kanaanitern zugerechnet -, die fünf Philisterfürsten von Gaza, Aschdod, Aschkelon, Gat und Ekron sowie die Awiter (Sd 3,3) 4 im Süden, das ganze Land der Kanaaniter und Meara, das zu den Sidoniern gehört, bis nach Afek und bis zum Gebiet der Amoriter, 5 ferner das Land der Gibliter und der ganze Libanon gegen Sonnenaufgang, von Baal-Gad am Fuß des Hermongebirges bis nach Lebo-Hamat. 6 Alle Bewohner des Berglandes vom Libanon bis nach Misrefot-Majim, alle Sidonier werde ich selbst vor den Israeliten vertreiben. Du aber verlose das Land für Israel als Erbbesitz, wie ich es dir befohlen habe! 7 Verteil nun dieses Land als Erbbesitz an die neun Stämme und den halben Stamm Manasse!

Landzuteilung im Osten

8 Die andere Hälfte des Stammes Manasse und mit ihm die Rubeniter und Gaditer hatten ihren Erbbesitz schon erhalten; ihn hatte Mose ihnen jenseits des Jordan nach Osten gegeben, wie ihn Mose, der Knecht des HERRN, ihnen zugewiesen hatte, (Jz 13,15) 9 von Aroër am Rand des Arnontales und von der Stadt an, die mitten im Tal liegt, also die ganze Ebene von Medeba bis Dibon, 10 alle Städte des Amoriterkönigs Sihon, der in Heschbon herrschte, bis zum Gebiet der Ammoniter, 11 dazu Gilead und das Gebiet der Geschuriter und Maachatiter und das ganze Hermongebirge und den ganzen Baschan bis nach Salcha, 12 das ganze Reich des Og im Baschan, der in Aschtarot und Edreï herrschte. Er war vom Rest der Rafaïter übrig geblieben. Mose hatte sie geschlagen und vertrieben. 13 Aber die Israeliten vertrieben die Geschuriter und die Maachatiter nicht; so wohnen Geschuriter und Maachatiter bis zum heutigen Tag mitten in Israel. 14 Nur dem Stamm Levi gab Josua keinen Erbbesitz; der HERR, der Gott Israels, ist sein Erbteil, wie der HERR ihm gesagt hatte. 15 Die Zuteilung an den Stamm der Rubeniter hatte also Mose entsprechend ihren Sippen vorgenommen. Dieses Gebiet mit seinen Städten und Gehöften ist der Erbbesitz der Rubeniter, entsprechend ihren Sippen. 24 Mose hatte auch die Zuteilung an den Stamm Gad, die Gaditer, entsprechend ihren Sippen vorgenommen. 25 Ihnen war zuteilgeworden das Gebiet von Jaser und alle Städte Gileads, das halbe Land der Ammoniter bis Aroër, das gegenüber Rabba liegt, 26 das Land von Heschbon bis Ramat-Mizpe und Betonim und von Mahanajim bis zum Gebiet von Lo-Dabar, 27 dazu in der Talebene Bet-Haram, Bet-Nimra, Sukkot und Zafon - der Rest des Reiches Sihons, des Königs von Heschbon -, ferner der Jordan und das Gebiet bis zum Ende des Sees von Kinneret jenseits des Jordan gegen Osten. 28 Dieses Gebiet mit seinen Städten und Gehöften ist der Erbbesitz der Gaditer, entsprechend ihren Sippen. 29 Mose hatte auch die Zuteilung an den halben Stamm Manasse vorgenommen und diese war auch für den halben Stamm der Manassiten nach seinen Sippen erfolgt. 30 Sein Gebiet umfasste von Mahanajim an den ganzen Baschan, das ganze Reich des Königs Og vom Baschan und alle Zeltdörfer Jaïrs im Baschan, sechzig Städte. 31 Die Hälfte von Gilead sowie Aschtarot und Edreï, die Königsstädte des Og vom Baschan, fiel den Nachkommen Machirs, des Sohnes Manasses, zu, und zwar der Hälfte der Machiriter entsprechend ihren Sippen. 32 Das sind die Gebiete, die Mose in den Steppen von Moab jenseits des Jordan östlich von Jericho als Erbbesitz verteilt hatte. 33 Dem Stamm Levi aber hatte Mose keinen Erbbesitz zugeteilt. The Inheritance East of the Jordan

8 With the other half of the tribe of Manasseh^[1] the Reubenites and the Gadites received their inheritance, which Moses gave them, beyond the Jordan eastward, as Moses the servant of the Lord gave them: (Nu 32,33; Jz 12,6) 9 from Aroer, which is on the edge of the Valley of the Arnon, and the city that is in the middle of the valley, and all the tableland of Medeba as far as Dibon; (Nu 21,30; Dt 2,36; Jz 13,16) 10 and all the cities of Sihon king of the Amorites, who reigned in Heshbon, as far as the boundary of the Ammonites; (Nu 21,24) 11 and Gilead, and the region of the Geshurites and Maacathites, and all Mount Hermon, and all Bashan to Salecah; (Dt 3,14) 12 all the kingdom of Og in Bashan, who reigned in Ashtaroth and in Edrei (he alone was left of the remnant of the Rephaim); these Moses had struck and driven out.
