1Potom stalo se slovo Hospodinovo k Jeremiášovi po druhé, když ještě zavřín byl v síni stráže, řkoucí:2Takto praví Hospodin, kterýž učiní to, Hospodin, kterýž sformuje to, potvrdí toho, Hospodin jméno jeho:3Volej ke mně, a ohlásímť se, a oznámímť věci veliké a tajné, o nichž nevíš.4Nebo takto praví Hospodin, Bůh Izraelský, o domích města tohoto, a o domích králů Judských, kteříž zkaženi býti mají berany válečnými a mečem:5Potáhnouť k boji proti Kaldejským, ale aby naplnili tyto domy mrtvými těly lidskými, kteréž zbiji v hněvě svém a v prchlivosti své, pro jejichž všelikou nešlechetnost skryl jsem tvář svou od města tohoto.6Aj, já zopravuji je a vzdělám, a uzdravím obyvatele, a zjevím jim hojnost pokoje, a to stálého.7Nebo přivedu zase zajaté Judské a zajaté Izraelské, a vzdělám je jako prvé,8A očistím je od všeliké nepravosti jejich, kterouž hřešili proti mně, a odpustím všecky nepravosti jejich, kterýmiž hřešili proti mně, a jimiž zpronevěřovali se mně.9A toť mi bude k jménu, k radosti, k chvále, a k zvelebení mezi všemi národy země, kteříž uslyší o všem tom dobrém, kteréž já jim učiním, a děsíce se, třásti se budou nade vším tím dobrým a nade vším pokojem tím, kterýž já jim způsobím.10Takto praví Hospodin: Na tomto místě, o kterémž vy říkáte: Popléněno jest, tak že není ani člověka ani žádného hovada v městech Judských a na ulicích Jeruzalémských zpustlých, tak že není žádného člověka, ani žádného obyvatele, ani žádného hovada,11Ještěť bude slýchán hlas radosti a hlas veselé, hlas ženicha a hlas nevěsty, hlas řkoucích: Oslavujte Hospodina zástupů, nebo dobrý jest Hospodin, nebo na věky milosrdenství jeho, a obětujících díkčinění v domě Hospodinově, když zase přivedu zajaté země této jako na počátku, praví Hospodin.12Takto praví Hospodin zástupů: Na místě tomto popléněném, tak že není žádného člověka ani hovada, i ve všech městech jeho bude ještě obydlé pastýřů, kdež by chovali stáda.13V městech při horách, v městech na rovinách a v městech v straně polední, tolikéž v zemi Beniaminově a vůkol Jeruzaléma, i v městech Judských, ještě procházívati budou stáda skrze ruce počítajícího, praví Hospodin.14Aj, dnové jdou, dí Hospodin, v nichž vykonám slovo to výborné, kteréž jsem mluvil o domu Izraelovu a o domu Judovu.15V těch dnech a za času toho způsobím to, aby zrostl Davidovi výstřelek spravedlivý, kterýž konati bude soud a spravedlnost na zemi.16V těch dnech spasen bude Juda, a Jeruzalém bydliti bude bezpečně, a toť jest, což jemu přivolá Hospodin, spravedlnost naše.17Nebo takto praví Hospodin: Nebudeť vypléněn muž z rodu Davidova, ješto by neseděl na stolici domu Judského.18Z kněží také Levítských nebude vypléněn muž od tváři mé, ješto by neobětoval zápalu, a zapaloval suchou obět, a obětoval obět po všecky dny.19Potom stalo se slovo Hospodinovo k Jeremiášovi, řkoucí:20Takto praví Hospodin: Jestliže budete moci zrušiti smlouvu mou se dnem, a smlouvu mou s nocí, aby nebývalo dne ani noci časem svým:21Takéť smlouva má zrušena bude s Davidem služebníkem mým, aby neměl syna, kterýž by kraloval na stolici jeho, a s Levítskými kněžími, aby nebyli služebníky mými.22A jakož nemůže sečteno býti vojsko nebeské, ani změřen býti písek mořský, tak rozmnožím símě Davida služebníka svého, a Levítů mně přisluhujících.23Opět stalo se slovo Hospodinovo k Jeremiášovi, řkoucí:24Což nesoudíš, co lid tento mluví, říkaje: Že dvojí čeled, kterouž byl vyvolil Hospodin, již ji zavrhl, a lidem mým že pohrdají, jako by nebyl více národem před oblíčejem jejich.25Takto praví Hospodin: Nebude-liť smlouva má se dnem a nocí, a ustanovení nebes i země zdržáno,26Také símě Jákobovo a Davida služebníka svého zavrhu, abych nebral z semene jeho těch, kteříž by panovati měli nad semenem Abrahamovým, Izákovým a Jákobovým, když zase přivedu zajaté jejich, a smiluji se nad nimi.
— Spása Jeruzaléma - Jeruzalém i všechen lid může také v soudu žít nadějí, neboť Hospodin je věrný Bůh.
1 I stalo se slovo Hospodinovo k Jeremjášovi podruhé, když byl ještě ve vazbě v nádvoří stráží:2 „Toto praví Hospodin, který to učiní, Hospodin, který vytvoří, co zůstane nepohnutelné, Hospodin je jeho jméno.3 Volej ke mně a odpovím ti. Chci ti oznámit veliké a nedostupné věci, které neznáš.“ 4 Toto praví Hospodin, Bůh Izraele, o domech tohoto města a o domech judských králů, které byly strženy kvůli náspům a kvůli meči,5 když se Judejci chystali do boje s Kaldejci: „Budou naplněny mrtvými těly lidí, které zabiji ve svém hněvu a rozhořčení, protože jsem skryl svou tvář před tímto městem kvůli všemu zlu, které páchali.6 Hle, jeho ránu zahojím a vyléčím, uzdravím je a zjevím jim hojnost pokoje a pravdy.7 Změním úděl Judy i úděl Izraele a vybuduji je jako na začátku.8 Očistím je ode všech jejich nepravostí, jimiž proti mně hřešili, a odpustím jim všechny nepravosti, jimiž proti mně hřešili a jimiž se mi vzepřeli.9 A já budu mít jméno k veselí, chvále a oslavě mezi všemi pronárody na zemi, až uslyší o všem dobru, které pro svůj lid učiním. Budou se chvět strachem a rozčilením pro všechno to dobro a pro všechen pokoj, který svému lidu zjednám. 10 Toto praví Hospodin: Říkáte: ‚Toto místo leží v troskách. V judských městech není člověka ani dobytka. Jeruzalémské ulice jsou zpustošené, bez člověka, bez obyvatele, bez dobytka.‘ Opět zde však bude slyšet11 hlas veselí, hlas radosti, hlas ženicha a hlas nevěsty, hlas těch, kteří vybízejí: ‚Chválu vzdejte Hospodinu zástupů, protože Hospodin je dobrý, jeho milosrdenství je věčné.‘ Budou tu i ti, kteří přinášejí do Hospodinova domu děkovnou oběť. Změním totiž úděl této země jako na počátku, praví Hospodin. 12 Toto praví Hospodin zástupů: Na tomto místě, které je v troskách, bez člověka a bez dobytka, i ve všech jeho městech budou opět nivy pastýřů, kde budou s ovcemi odpočívat.13 Ve městech vrchoviny i ve městech Přímořské nížiny i ve městech Negebu, v zemi Benjamínově i v okolí Jeruzaléma a v městech judských budou opět procházet ovce pod rukama toho, který je počítá, praví Hospodin.“
— Věčná smlouva s domem Davidovým - Naplnění slibů daných Izraelovi a Judovi bude spojeno i s obnovou domu Davidova, jehož vláda bude bez konce.
14 „Hle, přicházejí dny, je výrok Hospodinův, kdy splním to dobré slovo, které jsem vyhlásil o domě Izraelově a o domě Judově.15 V oněch dnech a v onen čas způsobím, aby Davidovi vyrašil výhonek spravedlivý, a ten bude v zemi uplatňovat právo a spravedlnost.16 V oněch dnech dojde Judsko spásy, Jeruzalém bude přebývat v bezpečí a takto jej nazvou: ‚Hospodin – naše spravedlnost.‘ 17 Toto praví Hospodin: Nebude vyhlazen Davidovi následník na trůnu Izraelova domu.18 Ani lévijským kněžím nebude vyhlazen přede mnou ten, kdo by přinášel oběti zápalné, v dým obracel oběť přídavnou a po všechny dny připravoval obětní hod.“ 19 I stalo se slovo Hospodinovo k Jeremjášovi:20 „Toto praví Hospodin: Podaří-li se vám zrušit moji smlouvu se dnem a moji smlouvu s nocí, takže nebude dne ani noci v určený čas,21 pak bude zrušena i má smlouva s Davidem, mým služebníkem, a nebude mít syna, který by kraloval na jeho trůnu, i s lévijskými kněžími, mými sluhy.22 Jak je nesčíslný nebeský zástup a nezměřitelný mořský písek, tak rozmnožím potomstvo Davida, svého služebníka, i lévijců, kteří mi slouží.“ 23 I stalo se slovo Hospodinovo k Jeremjášovi:24 „Nevidíš, co tento lid mluví? Obě čeledi, které Hospodin vyvolil, prý zavrhl. Můj lid znevažují, jako by pro ně nebyl už ani pronárodem. 25 Toto praví Hospodin: Jakože jsem ustanovil svou smlouvu se dnem a nocí jako směrnici pro nebe i zemi,26 právě tak nezavrhnu potomstvo Jákoba a Davida, svého služebníka; z jeho potomstva budu brát vládce pro potomstvo Abrahamovo, Izákovo a Jákobovo, až změním jejich úděl a slituji se nad nimi.“
1Jeremiáš byl stále ještě držen na strážním nádvoří, když znovu dostal slovo Hospodinovo:2„Tak praví Hospodin, který učinil zemi, Hospodin, který ji zformoval a upevnil – ten, který má jméno Hospodin:3Volej ke mně a já ti odpovím; sdělím ti veliká tajemství, o kterých nevíš.4Toto praví Hospodin, Bůh Izraele, o domech v tomto městě a o judských královských palácích, jež byly na obranu před obléhacími náspy a zbraněmi zbořeny5v přípravách na boj s Babyloňany:[1] Ty domy se naplní mrtvolami lidí, které ve svém zuřivém hněvu nechám pobít. Kvůli všemu zlu, které páchali, skryji svou tvář před tímto městem.6Hle – potom však ovážu jejich rány, uzdravím je a vyléčím. Dám jim zakusit hojný pokoj a bezpečí.7Osud Judy a Izraele změním a vybuduji je tak jako kdysi.8Očistím je ode všech zločinů, které proti mně spáchali. Všechny ty zločiny, které proti mně spáchali a jimiž se proti mně vzbouřili, jim odpustím.9Jeruzalém mi tak přinese věhlas a stane se mi zdrojem radosti, chvály a slávy přede všemi národy na zemi, až uslyší o všem dobrodiní, které jim prokáži. Zůstanou v úžasu a rozechvění nad vším tím dobrodiním a nad vším pokojem, který svému lidu způsobím.10Tak praví Hospodin: Říkáte, že z tohoto místa zbyla pustina bez lidí i dobytka. Nuže, v judských městech a v ulicích Jeruzaléma, nyní opuštěných, vylidněných, bez obyvatel i dobytka, se jednou znovu bude ozývat11hlas radosti a veselí, hlas ženicha a nevěsty a hlas těch, kdo ponesou do Hospodinova domu oběti vděčnosti se slovy: „Hospodinu zástupů vzdejte díky – Hospodin je přece dobrý a jeho láska trvá navěky!“ Osud této země totiž změním, a bude taková jako kdysi, praví Hospodin.12Tak praví Hospodin zástupů: Na tomto zpustlém místě bez lidí a dobytka budou znovu ve všech jeho městech pastviny, kde budou odpočívat pastýři se stády.13Ve městech na horách, ve městech podhůří i ve městech Negevu, v kraji Benjamín, v okolí Jeruzaléma i ve městech Judy budou znovu procházet ovce pod rukama počítajícího, praví Hospodin.“
Věčná smlouva
14„Hle, přicházejí dny, praví Hospodin, kdy toto dobré slovo, jež dávám domu Izraele a domu Judy, splním.15V těch dnech a v tom čase nechám z Davidova semene vyrašit spravedlivý Výhonek, jenž v zemi nastolí právo a spravedlnost.16V těch dnech bude Juda zachráněn a Jeruzalém bude žít v bezpečí. A takto jej budou nazývat: HOSPODIN – NAŠE SPRAVEDLNOST.[2]17Tak praví Hospodin: Na trůnu Izraelova domu nikdy nebude chybět Davidův potomek.[3]18Také mezi levity nikdy nebude chybět kněz, který by přede mnou přinášel zápaly, pálil moučné oběti a připravoval obětní hody po všechny dny.“19Jeremiáš dostal slovo Hospodinovo:20„Tak praví Hospodin: Budete-li moci zrušit moji smlouvu s dnem a moji smlouvu s nocí, takže den ani noc nenastane ve svůj čas,21pak bude zrušena také má smlouva s mým služebníkem Davidem, takže nebude mít syna, který by kraloval na jeho trůnu, a rovněž má smlouva s mými sluhy levitskými kněžími.22Jako se nedá sečíst nebeský zástup ani změřit mořský písek,[4] tak rozmnožím símě svého služebníka Davida a svých sluhů levitů.“23Jeremiáš dostal slovo Hospodinovo:24„Všiml sis, jak tento lid mluví? Že prý ‚Hospodin zavrhl oba své vyvolené rody.‘ Takhle pohrdají mým lidem, jako by už pro ně ani nebyl národem!25Tak praví Hospodin: Jestliže nemám smlouvu se dnem i nocí a nestanovil jsem zákony pro nebe i zemi,26pak také zavrhnu símě Jákoba i svého služebníka Davida a nevyberu z jeho rodu panovníka pro símě Abrahama, Izáka a Jákoba. Ano, změním jejich osud a slituji se nad nimi!“

Er wird Recht und Gerechtigkeit wirken im Land. (Jr 23,5)16In jenen Tagen wird Juda gerettet werden, Jerusalem kann in Sicherheit wohnen. Man wird ihm den Namen geben: Der HERR ist unsere Gerechtigkeit.[2]17Denn so spricht der HERR: Nie soll es David an einem Nachkommen fehlen, der auf dem Thron des Hauses Israel sitzt. (1Kr 2,4)18Auch den levitischen Priestern soll es nie an einem Nachkommen vor mir fehlen, der alle Tage Brandopfer darbringt, Speiseopfer verbrennt und Schlachtopfer zurichtet.19Das Wort des HERRN erging an Jeremia:20So spricht der HERR: Wenn ihr meinen Bund mit dem Tag und meinen Bund mit der Nacht brechen könntet, sodass es nicht mehr Tag und Nacht würde zu ihrer Zeit, (Jr 31,35)21dann könnte auch mein Bund mit meinem Knecht David gebrochen werden, sodass er keinen Sohn hätte, der auf seinem Thron König wäre, und ebenso mein Bund mit den levitischen Priestern, die mir dienen.22So unzählbar das Heer des Himmels und so unmessbar der Sand des Meeres ist, so zahlreich mache ich die Nachkommen meines Knechtes David und die Leviten, die mir dienen.23Das Wort des HERRN erging an Jeremia:24Hast du nicht bemerkt, was diese Leute reden: Die beiden Stammesverbände, die der HERR erwählt hatte, hat er verworfen! Sie verachten mein Volk, sodass es in ihren Augen kein Volk mehr ist.25So spricht der HERR: So gewiss ich meinen Bund mit dem Tag und mit der Nacht und die Ordnungen von Himmel und Erde festgesetzt habe,26so gewiss werde ich auch die Nachkommen Jakobs und meines Knechtes David nicht verwerfen; aus seinen Nachkommen werde ich die Herrscher über die Nachkommen Abrahams, Isaaks und Jakobs nehmen. The Lord’s Eternal Covenant with David
14“Behold, the days are coming, declares the Lord, when I will fulfill the promise I made to the house of Israel and the house of Judah. (Jr 23,5; Jr 29,10)15In those days and at that time I will cause a righteous Branch to spring up for David, and he shall execute justice and righteousness in the land. (Iz 4,2; Iz 11,1; Jr 23,5)16In those days Judah will be saved, and Jerusalem will dwell securely. And this is the name by which it will be called: ‘The Lord is our righteousness.’ (Jr 23,6; Jr 32,37)17“For thus says the Lord: David shall never lack a man to sit on the throne of the house of Israel, (2S 7,16; 1Kr 2,4; Ž 89,3)18and the Levitical priests shall never lack a man in my presence to offer burnt offerings, to burn grain offerings, and to make sacrifices forever.” (Iz 66,21)19The word of the Lord came to Jeremiah:20“Thus says the Lord: If you can break my covenant with the day and my covenant with the night, so that day and night will not come at their appointed time, (Gn 8,22; Ž 72,5; Iz 54,9; Jr 31,36; Jr 33,25)21then also my covenant with David my servant may be broken, so that he shall not have a son to reign on his throne, and my covenant with the Levitical priests my ministers. 1Moreover the word of the LORD came unto Jeremiah the second time, while he was yet shut up in the court of the prison, saying,2Thus saith the LORD the maker thereof, the LORD that formed it, to establish it; the LORD is his name;3Call unto me, and I will answer thee, and shew thee great and mighty things, which thou knowest not.4For thus saith the LORD, the God of Israel, concerning the houses of this city, and concerning the houses of the kings of Judah, which are thrown down by the mounts, and by the sword;5They come to fight with the Chaldeans, but it is to fill them with the dead bodies of men, whom I have slain in mine anger and in my fury, and for all whose wickedness I have hid my face from this city.6Behold, I will bring it health and cure, and I will cure them, and will reveal unto them the abundance of peace and truth.7And I will cause the captivity of Judah and the captivity of Israel to return, and will build them, as at the first.8And I will cleanse them from all their iniquity, whereby they have sinned against me; and I will pardon all their iniquities, whereby they have sinned, and whereby they have transgressed against me.9And it shall be to me a name of joy, a praise and an honour before all the nations of the earth, which shall hear all the good that I do unto them: and they shall fear and tremble for all the goodness and for all the prosperity that I procure unto it.10Thus saith the LORD; Again there shall be heard in this place, which ye say shall be desolate without man and without beast, even in the cities of Judah, and in the streets of Jerusalem, that are desolate, without man, and without inhabitant, and without beast,11The voice of joy, and the voice of gladness, the voice of the bridegroom, and the voice of the bride, the voice of them that shall say, Praise the LORD of hosts: for the LORD is good; for his mercy endureth for ever: and of them that shall bring the sacrifice of praise into the house of the LORD. For I will cause to return the captivity of the land, as at the first, saith the LORD.12Thus saith the LORD of hosts; Again in this place, which is desolate without man and without beast, and in all the cities thereof, shall be an habitation of shepherds causing their flocks to lie down.13In the cities of the mountains, in the cities of the vale, and in the cities of the south, and in the land of Benjamin, and in the places about Jerusalem, and in the cities of Judah, shall the flocks pass again under the hands of him that telleth them , saith the LORD.14Behold, the days come, saith the LORD, that I will perform that good thing which I have promised unto the house of Israel and to the house of Judah.15In those days, and at that time, will I cause the Branch of righteousness to grow up unto David; and he shall execute judgment and righteousness in the land.16In those days shall Judah be saved, and Jerusalem shall dwell safely: and this is the name wherewith she shall be called, The LORD our righteousness.17For thus saith the LORD; David shall never want a man to sit upon the throne of the house of Israel;18Neither shall the priests the Levites want a man before me to offer burnt offerings, and to kindle meat offerings, and to do sacrifice continually.19And the word of the LORD came unto Jeremiah, saying,20Thus saith the LORD; If ye can break my covenant of the day, and my covenant of the night, and that there should not be day and night in their season;21Then may also my covenant be broken with David my servant, that he should not have a son to reign upon his throne; and with the Levites the priests, my ministers.22As the host of heaven cannot be numbered, neither the sand of the sea measured: so will I multiply the seed of David my servant, and the Levites that minister unto me.23Moreover the word of the LORD came to Jeremiah, saying,24Considerest thou not what this people have spoken, saying, The two families which the LORD hath chosen, he hath even cast them off? thus they have despised my people, that they should be no more a nation before them.25Thus saith the LORD; If my covenant be not with day and night, and if I have not appointed the ordinances of heaven and earth;26Then will I cast away the seed of Jacob, and David my servant, so that I will not take any of his seed to be rulers over the seed of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob: for I will cause their captivity to return, and have mercy on them.
