1 Léta, kteréhož umřel král Uziáš, viděl jsem Pána sedícího na trůnu vysokém a vyzdviženém, a podolek jeho naplňoval chrám. 2 Serafínové stáli nad ním. Šest křídel měl každý z nich: dvěma zakrýval tvář svou, a dvěma přikrýval nohy své, a dvěma létal. 3 A volal jeden k druhému, říkaje: Svatý, svatý, svatý Hospodin zástupů, plná jest všecka země slávy jeho. 4 A pohnuly se podvoje veřejí od hlasu volajícího, a dům plný byl dymu. 5 I řekl jsem: Běda mně, jižť zahynu, proto že jsem člověk poškvrněné rty maje, k tomu u prostřed lidu rty poškvrněné majícího bydlím, a že krále Hospodina zástupů viděly oči mé. 6 I přiletěl ke mně jeden z serafínů, maje v ruce své uhel řeřavý, kleštěmi vzatý z oltáře, 7 A dotekl se úst mých, a řekl: Aj hle,dotekl se uhel tento úst tvých; nebo odešla nepravost tvá, a hřích tvůj shlazen jest. 8 Potom slyšel jsem hlas Pána řkoucího: Koho pošli? A kdo nám půjde? I řekl jsem: Aj já, pošli mne. 9 On pak řekl: Jdi, a rci lidu tomu: Slyšte slyšíce, a nerozumějte, a hleďte hledíce, a nepoznávejte. 10 Zatvrď srdce lidu toho, a uši jeho zacpej, a oči jeho zavři, aby neviděl očima svýma, a ušima svýma neslyšel, a srdcem svým nerozuměl, a neobrátil se, a nebyl uzdraven. 11 A když jsem řekl: Až dokud, Pane? i odpověděl: Dokudž nezpustnou města, tak aby nebylo žádného obyvatele, a domové, aby nebylo v nich žádného člověka, a země docela nezpustne, 12 A nevzdálí Hospodin všelikého člověka, a nebude dokonalého zpuštění u prostřed země; 13 Dokudž ještě v ní nebude desateré zhouby, a teprv zkažena bude. Ale jakož ono jilmoví, a jako doubí onoho náspu podporou jest, tak símě svaté jest podpora její.

PROROK - — Prorok povolán k službě - Uprostřed nic netušícího slavnostního shromáždění si Hospodin odděluje proroka ke službě a odhaluje mu své záměry.

1 Toho roku, kdy zemřel král Uzijáš, spatřil jsem Panovníka. Seděl na vysokém a vznosném trůnu a lem jeho roucha naplňoval chrám. 2 Nad ním stáli serafové: každý z nich měl po šesti křídlech, dvěma si zastíral tvář, dvěma si zakrýval nohy a dvěma se nadnášel. 3 Volali jeden k druhému: „Svatý, svatý, svatý je Hospodin zástupů, celá země je plná jeho slávy.“ 4 Od hlasu volajícího se pohnuly podvaly prahů a dům se naplnil dýmem. 5 I řekl jsem: „Běda mi, jsem ztracen. Jsem člověk nečistých rtů a mezi lidem nečistých rtů bydlím, a spatřil jsem na vlastní oči Krále, Hospodina zástupů.“ 6 Tu ke mně přiletěl jeden ze serafů. V ruce měl žhavý uhlík, který vzal kleštěmi z oltáře, 7 dotkl se mých úst a řekl: „Hle, toto se dotklo tvých rtů, tvá vina je odňata a tvůj hřích je usmířen.“ 8 Vtom jsem uslyšel hlas Panovníka: „Koho pošlu a kdo nám půjde?“ I řekl jsem: „Hle, zde jsem, pošli mne!“ 9 Odpověděl: „Jdi a řekni tomuto lidu: ‚Poslouchejte a poslouchejte, nic nepochopíte, dívejte se, dívejte, nic nepoznáte.‘ 10 Srdce toho lidu obal tukem, zacpi mu uši, zalep mu oči, aby očima neviděl, ušima neslyšel, srdcem nepochopil, neobrátil se a nebyl uzdraven.“ 11 Tu jsem řekl: „Dlouho ještě, Panovníku?“ On odpověděl: „Dokud nezpustnou města a nebudou bez obyvatel a domy bez lidí a role se nepromění v spoušť.“ 12 Hospodin odvede ty lidi daleko a v zemi bude mnoho míst opuštěno. 13 Zůstane-li v ní jen desetina, i ta bude zajata a přijde vniveč jako posvátný strom, jako dub, po jehož skácení zbude jen pahýl. Tento pahýl bude símě svaté.

1 V roce, kdy zemřel král Uziáš,^[1] jsem spatřil Pána sedícího na vznešeném a vyvýšeném trůnu a lem jeho roucha naplňoval chrám. 2 Nad ním se vznášeli serafové, každý se šesti křídly: dvěma si zakrývali tvář, dvěma si zakrývali nohy a dvěma létali. 3 Jeden ke druhému přitom volali: „Svatý, svatý, svatý je Hospodin zástupů, jeho sláva naplňuje všechnu zem!“ 4 Hlasem toho volání se chvěly čepy veřejí a chrám se naplnil dýmem.^[2] 5 Tehdy jsem zvolal: „Běda mi – teď zahynu! Jsem člověk s nečistými rty, žiji uprostřed lidu s nečistými rty, a přitom jsem na vlastní oči spatřil Krále, Hospodina zástupů!“ 6 Vtom ke mně přiletěl jeden ze serafů, v ruce žhavý uhlík vzatý kleštěmi z oltáře. 7 Dotkl se mých úst a řekl: „Hle, tento uhlík se dotkl tvých rtů; tvá vina byla odstraněna a tvůj hřích očištěn.“ 8 Potom jsem uslyšel Pánův hlas: „Koho pošlu? Kdo nám půjde?“ „Zde jsem, pošli mě!“ odpověděl jsem. 9 Tehdy řekl: „Jdi a vyřiď tomuto lidu: ‚Slyšte a poslouchejte, ale nerozumějte, hleďte a dívejte se, ale nevězte!‘ 10 Zatvrď srdce tohoto lidu, zacpi jim uši a zavři oči, aby očima neuviděli, ušima neuslyšeli, srdcem nepochopili a neobrátili se, aby nebyli uzdraveni.“ 11 Zeptal jsem se: „Na jak dlouho, Pane?“ a on odpověděl: „Dokud se města nestanou troskami, v nichž se nebydlí, dokud nebudou domy bez lidí a země obrácená v sutiny. 12 Dokud Hospodin nevyžene lidi pryč, takže tu zemi všichni opustí. 13 Kdyby v ní zůstala i jen desetina, musí být znovu vypleněna. Ale jako dub, jako mocný strom zanechá pahýl, když je poražen, tak je svaté símě oním pahýlem.“

1 Im Todesjahr des Königs Usija, da sah ich den Herrn auf einem hohen und erhabenen Thron sitzen und die Säume seines Gewandes füllten den Tempel aus. 2 Serafim standen über ihm. Sechs Flügel hatte jeder: Mit zwei Flügeln bedeckte er sein Gesicht, mit zwei bedeckte er seine Füße und mit zwei flog er.^[1] 3 Und einer rief dem anderen zu und sagte: Heilig, heilig, heilig ist der HERR der Heerscharen. / Erfüllt ist die ganze Erde von seiner Herrlichkeit. 4 Und es erbebten die Türzapfen in den Schwellen vor der Stimme des Rufenden und das Haus füllte sich mit Rauch. 5 Da sagte ich: Weh mir, denn ich bin verloren. (Iz 5,9) 12 Der HERR wird / die Menschen entfernen, / sodass die Verlassenheit groß ist inmitten des Landes. 13 Bleibt darin noch ein Zehntel, / so soll es erneut abgeweidet werden, wie bei einer Eiche oder Terebinthe, / von denen beim Fällen nur ein Stumpf bleibt. 1 In the year that King Uzziah died I saw the Lord sitting upon a throne, high and lifted up; and the train^[1] of his robe filled the temple.
