1Prozpěvuj,neplodná, kteráž nerodíš, zvučně prozpěvuj a prokřikni, kteráž ku porodu nepracuješ, nebo více bude synů opuštěné, nežli synů té, kteráž má muže, praví Hospodin.2Rozšiř místo stanu svého, a čalounů příbytků svých roztáhnouti nezbraňuj; natáhni i provazů svých, a kolíky své utvrď.3Nebo na pravo i na levo se rozmůžeš, a símě tvé národy dědičně vládnouti bude, a města pustá osadí.4Nebojž se, nebo nebudeš zahanbena, aniž se zapyřuj, nebo nebudeš v potupu uvedena; nýbrž na potupu mladosti své zapomeneš, a na pohanění vdovství svého nezpomeneš více.5Nebo manželem tvým jest Učinitel tvůj, jehož jméno Hospodin zástupů, a vykupitel tvůj Svatý Izraelský Bohem vší země slouti bude.6Nebo jako ženy propuštěné a v duchu sevřené povolá tě Hospodin, a jako ženy mladice, když v pohrdnutí budeš, praví Bůh tvůj.7Na maličkou chvilku poopustil jsem tě, ale v slitování převelikém shromáždím tě.8V maličkém hněvě skryl jsem tvář svou na maličko před tebou, ale v milosrdenství věčném slituji se nad tebou, praví vykupitel tvůj Hospodin.9Neboť jest to u mne, co při potopě Noé. Jakož jsem přisáhl, že se nebudou více rozlévati vody Noé po zemi, tak jsem přisáhl, že se nerozhněvám na tě, aniž tobě přísně domlouvati budu.10A byť se i hory pohybovaly, a pahrbkové ustupovali, milosrdenství mé však od tebe neodstoupí, a smlouva pokoje mého se nepohne, praví slitovník tvůj Hospodin.11Ó ssoužená, vichřicí zmítaná, potěšení zbavená, aj, já položím na karbunkulích kamení tvé, a založím tě na zafiřích.12A vzdělám z křištálu skla tvá, a brány tvé z kamení třpytícího se, i všecka pomezí tvá z kamení drahého.13Synové pak tvoji všickni vyučení budou od Hospodina, a hojnost pokoje budou míti synové tvoji.14Na spravedlnosti upevněna budeš. Vzdálíš se od ssoužení, protož se ho nebudeš báti, a od setření, nebo nepřiblíží se k tobě.15Aj, budouť nejedni bydliti s tebou, kteříž nejsou moji, ale kdož by bydleje s tebou, byl proti tobě, padne.16Aj, já stvořil jsem kováře dýmajícího při ohni na uhlí, a vynášejícího nádobí k dílu svému, já také stvořil jsem zhoubce, aby hubil.17Žádný nástroj proti tobě udělaný nepodaří se, a každý jazyk, povstávající proti tobě na soudu, potupíš. Toť jest dědictví služebníků Hospodinových, a spravedlnost jejich ode mne, praví Hospodin.
NOVÝ ŽIVOT - — Plesej, neplodná - Pozůstatek Hospodinova lidu se rozmnoží, protože se Hospodin nad ním slitoval.
1 Plesej, neplodná, která jsi nerodila, zvučně plesej a výskej, která ses v bolestech nesvíjela, protože synů osamělé bude více než synů provdané, praví Hospodin. 2 Rozšiř místo ve svém stanu, ať napnou stanové houně tvých příbytků. Nerozpakuj se! Natáhni svá stanová lana a upevni kolíky. 3 Rozmůžeš se napravo i nalevo, tvé potomstvo se zmocní pronárodů a osídlí zpustošená města. 4 Neboj se, už se nemusíš stydět, nebuď zahanbená, už se nemusíš rdít studem. Zapomeneš na hanbu, kdy jsi byla neprovdána, nevzpomeneš na potupu svého vdovství. 5 Tvým manželem je přece ten, jenž tě učinil, jeho jméno je Hospodin zástupů, tvým vykupitelem je Svatý Izraele; nazývá se Bohem celé země. 6 Jako ženu opuštěnou a na duchu ztrápenou tě Hospodin povolal, ženu mladosti, jež byla zavržena, praví Bůh tvůj. 7 „Na maličký okamžik jsem tě opustil, avšak shromáždím tě v převelikém slitování. 8 V návalu rozlícení skryl jsem před tebou na okamžik svoji tvář, avšak ve věčném milosrdenství jsem se nad tebou slitoval, praví Hospodin, tvůj vykupitel.“ 9 „Je to pro mě jako za dnů Noeho, kdy jsem se přísahou zavázal, že už nikdy vody Noeho zemi nezatopí. Právě tak jsem se přísežně odřekl rozlícení i pohrůžek vůči tobě. 10 I kdyby ustoupily hory a pohnuly se pahorky, moje milosrdenství od tebe neodstoupí a smlouva mého pokoje se nepohne, praví Hospodin, tvůj slitovník.“
— Nově vybudovaný Sijón - Sijón, dosud ležící v troskách, bude vybudován z drahokamů a nebude už nikdy vystaven nepřátelskému náporu.
11 „Ty utištěná, vichrem zmítaná, útěchy zbavená, hle, já ti do omítky vsadím drahokamy, za základ ti dám safíry. 12 Cimbuří ti udělám rubínová, brány berylové a celé tvé obezdění z drahokamů. 13 Všichni tví synové budou Hospodinovými učedníky; hojnost pokoje zjednám tvým synům. 14 Podpírat tě bude spravedlnost, zbavena útisku nepocítíš bázně, děs se k tobě nepřiblíží. 15 A kdyby se kdo proti tobě srotil, nebude to pocházet ode mne. Kdo se proti tobě srotí, v boji proti tobě padne. 16 Hle, já jsem stvořil řemeslníka, jenž rozdmychuje uhlí v oheň a zhotovuje zbraně k užívání. A já jsem stvořil šiřitele zkázy, aby hubil. 17 Žádná zbraň vyrobená proti tobě se nesetká se zdarem, každý jazyk, jenž proti tobě povstane na soudu, usvědčíš ze svévole. Toto je dědictví Hospodinových služebníků, jejich spravedlnost je ode mne, je výrok Hospodinův.“
1Jásej, neplodná, která jsi nikdy děti neměla! Zpívej a křič samou radostí, která jsi nikdy nerodila! Opuštěná totiž bude mít děti – víc dětí nežli provdaná, praví Hospodin.2Pro svůj stan udělej víc místa, plachty svých příbytků směle rozestři; roztáhni také svoje lana a zatluč kolíky.3Rozmůžeš se totiž doprava i doleva, národům budou vládnout tvoji potomci a zpustlá města obsadí.4Neboj se, nebudeš zahanbena, nestyď se, nedojdeš potupy. Zapomeneš na hanbu svého mládí, na potupu svého vdovství nevzpomeneš víc.5Tvým manželem je přece tvůj Tvůrce, Hospodin zástupů – to jméno má; Svatý izraelský je ti vykupitelem, Bohem vší země se nazývá.6Hospodin tě totiž zpátky zavolá jako opuštěnou, ztrápenou manželku, ženu, jež byla v mládí provdána a potom zavržena, říká tvůj Bůh.7Opustil jsem tě na kratičkou chvilku, v nesmírném slitování tě však přivinu.8Když mě na chvilku zloba přemohla, skryl jsem před tebou svoji tvář, ve věčné lásce se však nad tebou slituji, říká tvůj vykupitel, Hospodin.9Je to pro mě stejné jako za Noemových dnů, kdy jsem přísahal, že už na zem neuvedu Noemovu potopu. Právě tak nyní přísahám, že už se na tebe nerozhněvám, že už tě nebudu přísně hubovat.10I kdyby hory někam odešly, i kdyby se chvěly pahorky, má láska od tebe nikdy neodejde, smlouva mého pokoje se nezachvěje, praví Hospodin, jenž s tebou soucítí.11Ach ty ztrápená, vichrem zmítaná, útěchy zbavená, hle, já tě vybuduji tyrkysovými kameny, za základ položím ti safíry.12Z rubínů vytvořím tvé cimbuří, tvé brány budou třpytné granáty a tvé hradby samé vzácné kameny.13Všechny tvé děti budou Hospodinovi učedníci, budou zakoušet pokoj a blahobyt.14Založena budeš na spravedlnosti: Zbavena násilí bez obav budeš žít, nepřiblíží se k tobě žádné neštěstí.15Kdyby tě snad přesto někdo napadal, nebudu s ním já; kdokoli by tě chtěl napadnout, padne před tebou.16Hle, to já jsem stvořil kováře, jenž dmýchá uhlí ve výhni a vyrábí zbraně k jejich účelu; tentýž já jsem stvořil také zhoubce, aby působil záhubu.17Žádná zbraň chystaná na tebe se nezdaří a každý jazyk, jenž tě obviňuje, usvědčíš. Toto je dědictví služebníků Hospodinových a vítězství, jež jim zajistím, praví Hospodin.

1Freu dich, du Unfruchtbare, die nie gebar, / du, die nie in Wehen lag, brich in Jubel aus und jauchze!
Denn die Einsame hat jetzt viel mehr Kinder / als die Vermählte, spricht der HERR. (Iz 62,4; Ga 4,27)2Mach den Raum deines Zeltes weit, / spann deine Zelttücher aus, ohne zu sparen! / Mach deine Zeltseile lang und deine Zeltpflöcke fest![1]3Denn nach rechts und links breitest du dich aus. / Deine Nachkommen werden Nationen beerben / und verödete Städte besiedeln.4Fürchte dich nicht, du wirst nicht beschämt; / schäme dich nicht, du wirst nicht enttäuscht!
