1Poslouchejte mne ostrovové, a pozorujte národové dalecí: Hospodin hned z života povolal mne, od života matky mé v pamět uvedl jméno mé,2A učinil ústa má podobná meči ostrému. V stínu ruky své skryl mne, a učiniv ze mne střelu vypulerovanou, v toule svém schoval mne.3A řekl mi: Služebník můj jsi, v Izraeli skrze tebe oslaven budu.4Já pak řekl jsem: Nadarmo jsem pracoval, daremně a marně sílu svou jsem strávil. Ale však soud můj jestiť u Hospodina, a práce má u Boha mého.5A nyní dí Hospodin, kterýž mne sformoval hned od života za služebníka svého, abych zase přivedl k němu Jákoba; (byť pak i nebyl sebrán Izrael, slávu však mám před očima Hospodinovýma; nebo Bůh můj jest síla má);6I to řekl Hospodin: Máloť by to bylo, abys mi byl služebníkem ku pozdvižení pokolení Jákobových, a k navrácení ostatků Izraelských; protož dal jsem tě za světlo pohanům, abys byl spasení mé až do končin země.7Toto praví Hospodin vykupitel Izraelův, Svatý jeho, tomu, jímž pohrdá každý, a jehož sobě oškliví národové, služebníku panujících: Králové, vidouce tě, povstanou, a knížata klaněti se budou pro Hospodina, kterýž věrný jest, Svatého Izraelského, jenž tě vyvolil.8Toto praví Hospodin: V čas milosti vyslyším tě, a ve dni spasení spomohu tobě. Nadto ostříhati tě budu, a dám tě v smlouvu lidu, abys utvrdil zemi, a v dědictví uvedl dědictví zpuštěná;9Abys řekl vězňům: Vyjděte, těm, kteříž jsou ve tmách: Zjevte se. I budou se pásti podlé cest, a na všech místech vysokých bude pastva jejich.10Nebudou lačněti ani žízniti, nebude na ně bíti horko ani slunce; nebo slitovník jejich zprovodí je, a podlé pramenů vod povede je.11Přes to způsobím na všech horách svých cesty, a silnice mé vyvýšeny budou.12Aj, tito zdaleka přijdou, aj, onino od půlnoci a od moře, a jiní z země Sinim.13Prozpěvujte nebesa, a plésej země, a zvučně prokřikujte hory; neboť jest potěšil Hospodin lidu svého, a nad chudými svými slitoval se.14Ale řekl Sion: Opustiltě mne Hospodin, a Pán zapomenul se na mne.15I zdaliž se může zapomenouti žena nad nemluvňátkem svým, aby se neslitovala nad plodem života svého? A byť se pak ony zapomněly, já však nezapomenu se na tě.16Aj, na dlaních vyryl jsem tě, zdi tvé jsou vždycky přede mnou.17Pospíšíť k tobě synové tvoji, ti pak, kteříž tě bořili a kazili, odejdou od tebe.18Pozdvihni vůkol očí svých, a pohleď, všickni ti shromáždíce se, přijdou k tobě. Živť jsem já, praví Hospodin, že se jimi všemi jako okrasou přioděješ, a otočíš se jimi jako halží nevěsta,19Proto že pustiny tvé, a pouště tvé, a zbořeniny země tvé že tehdáž těsné budou, příčinou obyvatelů, když vzdáleni budou ti, kteříž tě zžírali;20Tak že řeknou před tebou synové siroby tvé: Těsné mi jest toto místo, ustup mi, abych bydliti mohl.21I díš v srdci svém: Kdo mi naplodil těchto? Nebo jsem já byla osiřelá a osamělá, sem i tam přecházející a odcházející. Tyto, pravím, kdo vychoval? Aj, pozůstala jsem byla sama jediná. Kdež tito byli?22Toto praví Panovník Hospodin: Aj, já pozdvihnu k národům ruky své, a k lidem vyzdvihnu korouhev svou, aby přinesli syny tvé na rukou, a dcery tvé aby na plecech neseny byly.23I budou králové pěstounové tvoji, a královny jejich chovačky tvé. Tváří k zemi skláněti se budou před tebou, a prach noh tvých lízati budou, a poznáš, že jsem já Hospodin, a že nebývají zahanbeni, kteříž na mne očekávají.24Ale díš: Zdaliž odjato bude reku udatnému to, což uchvátil? A zdaž zajatý lid spravedlivého vyproštěn bude?25Anobrž tak praví Hospodin: I zajatý lid reku udatnému odjat bude, a to, což uchvátil násilník, vyproštěno bude; nebo s tím, kterýž se s tebou nesnadní, já se nesnadniti budu, a syny tvé já vysvobodím.26A nakrmím ty, kteříž tě utiskují, vlastním masem jejich, a jako mstem krví svou se zpijí. I poznáť všeliké tělo, že já Hospodin jsem spasitel tvůj, a vykupitel tvůj Bůh silný Jákobův.
Hospodinův služebník - POVOLÁNÍ SLUŽEBNÍKA - — Služebník je nový Izrael - Hospodin si svého služebníka utváří už od nitra jeho matky a učiní jej základem nového Izraele.
1 Slyšte mě, ostrovy, daleké národy, dávejte pozor! Hospodin mě povolal z života mateřského; od nitra mé matky připomínal moje jméno. 2 Učinil má ústa ostrým mečem, skryl mě ve stínu své ruky. Udělal ze mne výborný šíp, ukryl mě ve svém toulci. 3 Řekl mi: „Ty jsi můj služebník, Izrael, v tobě se oslavím.“ 4 Já jsem však řekl: „Nadarmo jsem se namáhal, svou sílu jsem vydal pro nicotný přelud.“ A přece: U Hospodina je mé právo, můj výdělek u mého Boha. 5 A nyní praví Hospodin, který mě vytvořil jako svého služebníka už v životě matky, abych k němu přivedl Jákoba nazpět, byť i nebyl shromážděn Izrael. Stal jsem se váženým v Hospodinových očích, můj Bůh je záštita moje. 6 On dále řekl: „Nestačí, abys byl mým služebníkem, který má pozvednout Jákobovy kmeny a přivést zpátky ty z Izraele, kdo byli ušetřeni; dal jsem tě za světlo pronárodům, abys byl spása má do končin země.“
— Veliké výhledy - Služebník bude dán za smlouvu lidu a přivede vězně ze všech světových stran.
7 Toto praví Hospodin, vykupitel Izraele, jeho Svatý, tomu, který je v opovržení, jehož má kdejaký pronárod v ohavnosti, služebníku vládců: „Spatří tě králové a povstanou, a velmožové se skloní, kvůli Hospodinu, který je věrný, kvůli Svatému Izraele, který tě vyvolil.“ 8 Toto praví Hospodin: „Odpovím ti v čase přízně, pomohu ti v den spásy, budu tě opatrovat, dám tě za smlouvu lidu, abys pozvedl zemi a zpustošená dědictví vrátil, 9 abys řekl vězňům: ‚Vyjděte,‘ těm, kdo jsou v temnotách: ‚Ukažte se!‘ Při cestách se budou pást a na všech holých návrších naleznou pastvu. 10 Nebudou hladovět ani žíznit, nebude je ubíjet sálající step a sluneční žár, neboť je povede ten, jenž se nad nimi slitovává, a dovede je ke zřídlům vod. 11 Na všech svých horách učiním cestu, mé silnice budou vyvýšeny. 12 Hle, jedni přijdou zdaleka, jiní od severu a jiní od moře a jiní ze země Síňanů.“ 13 Plesejte, nebesa, a jásej, země, ať zvučně plesají hory, vždyť Hospodin potěšil svůj lid, slitoval se nad svými ujařmenými!
— Vyryt do Hospodinových dlaní - Láska Hospodinova předstihne i lásku mateřskou. Vyryl si své město do dlaní, aby nemohl zapomenout. Rozptýlený lid bude slavně přiveden zpátky do země otců.
14 Sijón říkával: „Hospodin mě opustil, Panovník na mě zapomenul.“ 15 „Cožpak může zapomenout žena na své pacholátko, neslitovat se nad synem vlastního života? I kdyby některé zapomněly, já na tebe nezapomenu. 16 Hle, vyryl jsem si tě do dlaní, tvé hradby mám před sebou stále. 17 Tvoji synové už pospíchají. Ti, kdo tě bořili a ničili, od tebe odtáhnou. 18 Rozhlédni se kolem a viz: Tito všichni se shromáždí a přijdou k tobě. Jakože živ jsem já, je výrok Hospodinův, jimi všemi se okrášlíš jako okrasou, ozdobíš se jimi jako nevěsta. 19 Tvé trosky a tvá zpustošená města, tvá pobořená země ti teď budou příliš těsné pro množství obyvatel, až odtáhnou ti, kdo tě hubili. 20 Opět ti budou říkat synové tvé bezdětnosti: ‚Toto místo je mi těsné! Dej mi prostor, ať mám kde sídlit.‘ 21 V srdci si řekneš: ‚Kdo mi zplodil tyto syny? Byla jsem bez dětí, bez manžela, přestěhovaná a zapuzená. Kdo je vychoval? Zůstala jsem zcela sama, kde se tito vzali?‘“ 22 Toto praví Panovník Hospodin: „Hle, pokynu rukou pronárodům, k národům vztáhnu svou korouhev; v náručí přinesou tvé syny, tvé dcery budou neseny na ramenou. 23 Králové budou tvými pěstouny a jejich kněžny tvými chůvami. Klanět se ti budou tváří k zemi, budou lízat prach tvých nohou. I poznáš, že já jsem Hospodin, že se nezklamou ti, kdo skládají svou naději ve mne.“ 24 Lze vzít bohatýru to, co pobral? Může uniknout zajatý lid Spravedlivého? 25 Ale Hospodin praví toto: „I bohatýru je možno vzít zajatce, co pobral ukrutník, může uniknout. Já s tvými odpůrci povedu spor, já spásu dám tvým synům. 26 Tvé utiskovatele nakrmím jejich vlastním masem, jako moštem se opojí vlastní krví. I pozná všechno tvorstvo, že já Hospodin jsem tvůj spasitel a tvůj vykupitel, Přesilný Jákobův.“
1Poslouchejte mě, ostrovy, daleké národy, slyšte mě: Hospodin mě povolal už od narození, pojmenoval mě už v lůně matčině.2Jak ostrý meč má ústa učinil, v stínu své ruky ukryl mě; učinil ze mě vybroušený šíp a schoval si mě do toulce.3Řekl mi: „Jsi můj služebník, Izraeli, v tobě se oslavím.“4Odpověděl jsem: „Nadarmo jsem se dřel, vyčerpal jsem se marně a zbytečně.“ Mé právo je však u Hospodina, u mého Boha je má odměna.5Teď ale praví Hospodin – ten, který mě v lůně zformoval, abych byl jeho služebník a přivedl k němu nazpět Jákoba, aby se Izrael k němu shromáždil (takto jsem poctěn před Hospodinovýma očima, neboť můj Bůh je síla má) –6nuže, on praví: Málo na tom, abys jako můj služebník obnovil Jákobovy kmeny a přivedl nazpět ty, kdo z Izraele přežili. Světlem národů proto činím tě, aby má spása obsáhla celý svět.7Toto praví Hospodin, vykupitel Izraele, jeho Svatý, tomu, jímž lidé pohrdají a národy si ho oškliví, služebníku vládnoucích: Králové povstanou, až tě uvidí, a velmoži se pokloní kvůli Hospodinu, který je věrný, Svatému izraelskému, jenž tě vyvolil.8Toto praví Hospodin: V čas milosti tě vyslyším, pomohu ti v den spasení. Já tě ochráním a dám tě lidu do smlouvy, tak abys zemi obnovil a rozdělil zpustlá dědictví,9abys řekl vězňům: „Vyjděte!“ a těm, kdo jsou ve tmě: „Ukažte se!“ Podél cest se budou moci občerstvit, naleznou pastvu na všech pustých návrších;10nebudou hladovět ani žízeň mít, žár ani slunce neublíží jim, neboť je povede Ten, jenž je soucitný, a doprovodí je mezi vodní studánky.11Všechny své hory v cestu obrátím a mé stezky budou zpevněny.12Hle – už přicházejí z dálky, od severu jedni, od západu další a jiní z asuánské[1] krajiny.13Jásejte, nebesa, země, raduj se, vy hory, zvučně zpívejte! Hospodin totiž svůj lid potěšil, projevil soucit ke svým ubohým!
Nezapomenu na tebe
14Sion však říká: „Hospodin mě opustil, zapomněl na mě Panovník.“15Zapomene snad žena na své nemluvně? Nemá snad soucit s vlastním dítětem? I kdyby však ony zapomněly přece, já nikdy nezapomenu na tebe!16Hle, vyryl jsem si tě do dlaní, tvé zdi mám stále na očích.17Tvoji stavitelé už k tobě spěchají, ti, kdo tě bořili a ničili, jsou pryč.18Pozvedni oči, jen se rozhlédni – ti všichni se shromáždili, aby k tobě šli. Jakože jsem živ, praví Hospodin, všechny si je připneš jako ozdoby, jako nevěsta se jimi okrášlíš.19Ano, tvé trosky a tvé sutiny a rozvaliny tvé krajiny budou teď přeplněny obyvateli a daleko budou ti, kdo tě hubili.20Ještě ti řeknou – sama to uslyšíš – synové ve tvé bezdětnosti zplození: „Je mi tu těsno, uhni mi, ať se tu zabydlím.“21Tehdy si v srdci pomyslíš: „Kdo mi je porodil? Byla jsem přece bezdětná a neplodná, odstrčená a vyhnaná – kdo všechny tyhle vychoval? Byla jsem opuštěná v samotě – kde všichni tihle vzali se?“22Toto praví Panovník Hospodin: Hle, vztáhnu svou ruku k pohanům, zvednu korouhev na znamení národům! V náručí tvé syny přinesou, tvé dcery ponesou na ramenou;23králové budou tvými pěstouny a jejich kněžny tvými chůvami. Tváří k zemi se budou klanět před tebou, lízat ti budou prach na nohou a tehdy poznáš, že já jsem Hospodin a že se nezklamou, kdo ve mě doufají.24„Lze válečníka obrat o kořist? Lze tyrana[2] o vězně připravit?“25Nuže, toto praví Hospodin: Ano, válečníci budou o vězně obráni, tyrani budou zbaveni kořisti! Já sám se postavím tvému odpůrci, já sám tvé děti zachráním!26Ty, kdo tě utiskovali, jejich vlastním masem nakrmím, svou vlastní krví se jako vínem opijí. A tehdy všichni lidé poznají, že já Hospodin jsem tvůj spasitel, Bůh Jákobův, tvůj vykupitel.
1Hört auf mich, ihr Inseln, / merkt auf, ihr Völker in der Ferne!
Der HERR hat mich schon im Mutterleib berufen; / als ich noch im Schoß meiner Mutter war, hat er meinen Namen genannt.2Er machte meinen Mund wie ein scharfes Schwert, / er verbarg mich im Schatten seiner Hand.
Er machte mich zu einem spitzen Pfeil / und steckte mich in seinen Köcher. (Iz 51,16; Zj 19,15)3Er sagte zu mir: Du bist mein Knecht, Israel, / an dem ich meine Herrlichkeit zeigen will.4Ich aber sagte: Vergeblich habe ich mich bemüht, / habe meine Kraft für Nichtiges und Windhauch vertan.
Aber mein Recht liegt beim HERRN / und mein Lohn bei meinem Gott. (1K 15,58)5Jetzt aber hat der HERR gesprochen, / der mich schon im Mutterleib zu seinem Knecht geformt hat,
damit ich Jakob zu ihm heimführe / und Israel bei ihm versammelt werde.
So wurde ich in den Augen des HERRN geehrt / und mein Gott war meine Stärke.6Und er sagte:
Es ist zu wenig, dass du mein Knecht bist, / nur um die Stämme Jakobs wieder aufzurichten / und die Verschonten Israels heimzuführen.
Ich mache dich zum Licht der Nationen; / damit mein Heil bis an das Ende der Erde reicht. (Iz 42,6; Sk 13,47)7So spricht der HERR, der Erlöser Israels, sein Heiliger, / zu dem tief verachteten Mann,
dem Abscheu der Nation, / dem Knecht der Herrschenden:
Könige werden es sehen und sich erheben, / Fürsten werfen sich nieder,
um des HERRN willen, der treu ist, / um des Heiligen Israels willen, der dich erwählt hat.8So spricht der HERR:
Zur Zeit der Gnade habe ich dich erhört, / am Tag des Heils habe ich dir geholfen.
Und ich forme dich / und mache dich zum Bund mit dem Volk,
um das Land aufzurichten / und das verödete Erbe zu verteilen, (2K 6,2)9den Gefangenen zu sagen: Kommt heraus! / und denen, die in der Finsternis sind:
Zeigt euch!
An den Wegen weiden sie, / auf allen kahlen Hügeln ist ihre Weide.10Sie leiden weder Hunger noch Durst, / Hitze und Sonnenglut treffen sie nicht.
Denn der sich ihrer erbarmt, leitet sie / und führt sie zu sprudelnden Quellen.11Alle meine Berge mache ich zu Wegen / und meine Straßen werden gebahnt sein.12Siehe, sie kommen von fern, / die einen von Norden und Westen, / andere aus dem Land der Siniter.[1]13Jubelt, ihr Himmel, jauchze, o Erde, / freut euch, ihr Berge!
Denn der HERR hat sein Volk getröstet / und erbarmt sich seiner Armen.
Gottes Trost für Zion
14Doch Zion sagt: Der HERR hat mich verlassen, / Gott hat mich vergessen.15Kann denn eine Frau ihr Kindlein vergessen, / ohne Erbarmen sein gegenüber ihrem leiblichen Sohn?
Und selbst wenn sie ihn vergisst: / Ich vergesse dich nicht. (1Kr 3,26; Jr 31,20)16Sieh her: Ich habe dich eingezeichnet in meine Hände, / deine Mauern sind beständig vor mir.17Deine Erbauer eilen herbei / und die dich zerstört und verwüstet haben, ziehen davon.[2]18Erhebe deine Augen ringsum und schau: / Alle haben sich versammelt und sind zu dir gekommen.
So wahr ich lebe - Spruch des HERRN: / Du wirst sie alle wie einen Schmuck anlegen, / du wirst dich mit ihnen schmücken wie eine Braut. (Iz 60,4)19Denn dein ödes, verheertes, zerstörtes Land / wird jetzt zu eng für seine Bewohner, / weit weg sind alle, die dich verschlingen wollten.20Bald wirst du, die du kinderlos warst, / mit eigenen Ohren hören, wie deine Kinder sagen:
Mir ist der Platz zu eng, / rück zur Seite, damit ich hier wohnen kann! (Iz 54,1)21Dann wirst du dich in deinem Herzen fragen: / Wer hat mir diese geboren?
Ich war doch kinderlos und unfruchtbar, / war verbannt und verstoßen.
Wer hat mir diese herangezogen? / Ich war doch allein übrig geblieben. / Wo kommen sie her?22So spricht GOTT, der Herr: / Siehe, ich erhebe meine Hand zu Nationen; / und für Völker richte ich mein Feldzeichen auf / und sie bringen auf den Armen deine Söhne herbei / und tragen deine Töchter auf den Hüften. (Iz 60,4; Iz 62,10)23Könige werden deine Kinder pflegen / und Fürstinnen ihre Ammen sein.
Mit dem Gesicht zur Erde werfen sie sich nieder vor dir / und lecken dir den Staub von den Füßen.
Dann wirst du erkennen, dass ich der HERR bin / und dass die nicht beschämt werden, die auf mich hoffen. (Ž 72,9; Iz 60,16)24Wird einem Starken die Beute entrissen / und kann der Gefangene eines Gerechten entkommen?25So spricht der HERR: / Auch einem Starken entreißt man den Gefangenen / und einem Mächtigen entkommt seine Beute.
Ich selbst will mit deinem Gegner streiten, / ich selbst will deine Kinder retten.26Deinen Unterdrückern gebe ich ihr eigenes Fleisch zu essen, / sie sollen sich an ihrem Blut berauschen wie an Most.
Dann wird alles Fleisch erkennen, / dass ich, der HERR, dein Retter bin / und ich, der Starke Jakobs, dein Erlöser. (Iz 60,16)
1Listen to me, O coastlands, and give attention, you peoples from afar. The Lord called me from the womb, from the body of my mother he named my name. (Iz 11,11; Iz 33,13; Iz 44,2)2He made my mouth like a sharp sword; in the shadow of his hand he hid me; he made me a polished arrow; in his quiver he hid me away. (Iz 11,4; Iz 51,16; Oz 6,5; Žd 4,12; Zj 1,16)3And he said to me, “You are my servant, Israel, in whom I will be glorified.”[1] (Iz 44,23)4But I said, “I have labored in vain; I have spent my strength for nothing and vanity; yet surely my right is with the Lord, and my recompense with my God.” (Iz 50,6; Iz 53,10; Iz 65,23)5And now the Lord says, he who formed me from the womb to be his servant, to bring Jacob back to him; and that Israel might be gathered to him— for I am honored in the eyes of the Lord, and my God has become my strength— (Iz 49,1; Iz 50,4; Iz 52,13)6he says: “It is too light a thing that you should be my servant to raise up the tribes of Jacob and to bring back the preserved of Israel; I will make you as a light for the nations, that my salvation may reach to the end of the earth.” (Ž 98,3; Iz 42,6; Sk 13,47)7Thus says the Lord, the Redeemer of Israel and his Holy One, to one deeply despised, abhorred by the nation, the servant of rulers: “Kings shall see and arise; princes, and they shall prostrate themselves; because of the Lord, who is faithful, the Holy One of Israel, who has chosen you.” (Iz 48,17; Iz 49,1; Iz 49,23; Iz 50,6; Iz 53,3)
The Restoration of Israel
8Thus says the Lord: “In a time of favor I have answered you; in a day of salvation I have helped you; I will keep you and give you as a covenant to the people, to establish the land, to apportion the desolate heritages, (Ž 69,13; Iz 42,6; Iz 61,4; 2K 6,2)9saying to the prisoners, ‘Come out,’ to those who are in darkness, ‘Appear.’ They shall feed along the ways; on all bare heights shall be their pasture; (Iz 41,18; Iz 42,7)10they shall not hunger or thirst, neither scorching wind nor sun shall strike them, for he who has pity on them will lead them, and by springs of water will guide them. (Iz 40,11; Zj 7,16; Zj 7,17)11And I will make all my mountains a road, and my highways shall be raised up. (Iz 40,4)12Behold, these shall come from afar, and behold, these from the north and from the west,[2] and these from the land of Syene.”[3] (Ž 107,3; Iz 43,5)13Sing for joy, O heavens, and exult, O earth; break forth, O mountains, into singing! For the Lord has comforted his people and will have compassion on his afflicted. (Pís 8,6; Zj 13,16)17Your builders make haste;[4] your destroyers and those who laid you waste go out from you. (Za 1,18)18Lift up your eyes around and see; they all gather, they come to you. As I live, declares the Lord, you shall put them all on as an ornament; you shall bind them on as a bride does. (Nu 14,21; Iz 60,4; Jr 43,12; Ez 5,11)19“Surely your waste and your desolate places and your devastated land— surely now you will be too narrow for your inhabitants, and those who swallowed you up will be far away. (Za 10,10)20The children of your bereavement will yet say in your ears: ‘The place is too narrow for me; make room for me to dwell in.’ (Iz 49,19; Iz 54,1)21Then you will say in your heart: ‘Who has borne me these? I was bereaved and barren, exiled and put away, but who has brought up these? Behold, I was left alone; from where have these come?’” (Iz 49,20)22Thus says the Lord God: “Behold, I will lift up my hand to the nations, and raise my signal to the peoples; and they shall bring your sons in their arms,[5] and your daughters shall be carried on their shoulders. (Iz 11,12; Iz 14,2)23Kings shall be your foster fathers, and their queens your nursing mothers. With their faces to the ground they shall bow down to you, and lick the dust of your feet. Then you will know that I am the Lord; those who wait for me shall not be put to shame.” (Ž 25,3; Ž 72,9; Iz 40,31; Iz 60,3; Iz 60,14; Iz 60,16; Jl 2,27; Mi 7,17)24Can the prey be taken from the mighty, or the captives of a tyrant[6] be rescued?25For thus says the Lord: “Even the captives of the mighty shall be taken, and the prey of the tyrant be rescued, for I will contend with those who contend with you, and I will save your children.
