1Tedy řekl Hospodin Mojžíšovi: Vejdi k Faraonovi, a mluv k němu: Takto praví Hospodin, Bůh Hebrejský: Propusť lid můj, ať mi slouží.2Pakli nebudeš chtíti propustiti, než předce držeti je budeš:3Aj, ruka Hospodinova bude na dobytku tvém, kterýž jest na poli, na koních, na oslích, na velbloudích, na volích a na ovcech, mor těžký velmi.4A učiní Hospodin rozdíl mezi dobytky Izraelských a mezi dobytky Egyptských, aby nic neumřelo ze všeho, což jest synů Izraelských.5A uložil Hospodin čas jistý, řka: Zítra učiní Hospodin věc takovou na zemi.6I učinil Hospodin tu věc na zejtří, a pomřel všecken dobytek Egyptským; z dobytku pak synů Izraelských ani jedno neumřelo.7I poslal Farao, a aj, neumřelo z dobytků Izraelských ani jedno. Ale obtíženo jest srdce Faraonovo, a nepropustil lidu.8I řekl Hospodin Mojžíšovi a Aronovi: Vezměte sobě plné hrsti své popela z peci, a ať jej sype Mojžíš k nebi před očima Faraonovýma.9I obrátí se v prach po vší zemi Egyptské, a budou z něho na lidech i na hovadech vředové prýštící se neštovicemi po vší zemi Egyptské.10Nabravše tedy popela z peci, stáli před Faraonem, a sypal jej Mojžíš k nebi. I byli vředové plní neštovic, prýštící se na lidech i na hovadech.11Aniž mohli čarodějníci státi před Mojžíšem pro vředy; nebo byli vředové na čarodějnících i na všech Egyptských.12I zsilil Hospodin srdce Faraonovo, a neposlechl jich, tak jakž byl mluvil Hospodin k Mojžíšovi.13Tedy řekl Hospodin Mojžíšovi: Vstana ráno, postav se před Faraonem, a rci k němu: Takto praví Hospodin, Bůh Hebrejský: Propusť lid můj, ať mi slouží.14Nebo já teď již pošli všecky rány své na srdce tvé, i na služebníky tvé a na lid tvůj, abys věděl, žeť není podobného mně na vší zemi.15Nebo nyní, když jsem vztáhl ruku svou, byl bych tebe také ranil i lid tvůj morem tím; a tak bys byl vyhlazen z země.16Ale však proto jsem tě zachoval, abych ukázal na tobě moc svou, a aby vypravovali jméno mé na vší zemi.17Ještě ty pozdvihuješ se proti lidu mému, nechtěje ho propustiti?18Aj, já dštíti budu zítra v tentýž čas krupobitím těžkým náramně, jakéhož nebylo v Egyptě od toho dne, jakž založen jest, až do tohoto času.19Protož nyní pošli, shromažď dobytek svůj a cokoli máš na poli. Na všecky lidi i hovada, kteráž by nalezena byla na poli, a nebyla by shromážděna do domu, spadne krupobití, a pomrou.20Kdo tedy z služebníků Faraonových ulekl se slova Hospodinova, svolal hbitě služebníky své i dobytek svůj do domu.21Ale kdož nepřiložil srdce svého k slovu Hospodinovu, nechal služebníků svých a dobytka svého na poli.22I řekl Hospodin Mojžíšovi: Vztáhni ruku svou k nebi, ať jest krupobití po vší zemi Egyptské, na lidi i na hovada i na všelikou bylinu polní v zemi Egyptské.23Tedy vztáhl Mojžíš hůl svou k nebi, a Hospodin vydal hřímání a krupobití. I sstoupil oheň na zem, a dštil Hospodin krupobitím na zemi Egyptskou.24I bylo krupobití a oheň smíšený s krupobitím těžký velmi, jakéhož nebylo nikdy ve vší zemi Egyptské, jakž v ní bydliti lidé začali.25I ztloukly kroupy po vší zemi Egyptské, cožkoli bylo na poli od člověka až do hovada; všecku také bylinu polní potloukly kroupy, i všecko stromoví na poli zpřerážely.26Toliko v zemi Gesen, v níž byli synové Izraelští, nebylo krupobití.27Poslav tedy Farao, povolal Mojžíše a Arona a řekl jim: Zhřešil jsem i nyní. Hospodinť jest spravedlivý, ale já a lid můj bezbožní jsme.28Modlte se Hospodinu, (nebo dosti jest), ať není hřímání Božího a krupobití. Tedy propustím vás, aniž déle zůstávati budete.29I řekl jemu Mojžíš: Když vyjdu ven z města, rozprostru ruce své k Hospodinu, a hřímání přestane, i krupobití více nebude, abys poznal, že Hospodinova jest země.30Ale vím, že ani ty, ani služebníci tvoji ještě se nebudete báti tváři Hospodina Boha.31I potlučen jest len a ječmen; nebo ječmen se byl vymetal, len také byl v hlávkách.32Ale pšenice a špalda nebyla ztlučena, nebo pozdní byla.33Tedy Mojžíš vyšed od Faraona z města, rozprostřel ruce své k Hospodinu. I přestalo hřímání a krupobití, a ani déšť nelil se na zemi.34Uzřev pak Farao, že přestal déšť a krupobití a hřímání, opět hřešil; a více obtížil srdce své, on i služebníci jeho.35I zsililo se srdce Faraonovo, a nepropustil synů Izraelských, tak jakž byl mluvil Hospodin skrze Mojžíše.
— Dobytčí mor - Hospodin stíhá Egypt dobytčím morem; stáda Izraelců nejsou postižena.
1 Hospodin řekl Mojžíšovi: „Předstup před faraóna a promluv k němu: Toto praví Hospodin, Bůh Hebrejů: Propusť můj lid, aby mi sloužil!2 Budeš-li se zdráhat jej propustit a zatvrdíš-li se proti nim ještě víc,3 tu na tvá stáda, která jsou na poli, na koně, na osly, na velbloudy, na skot i na brav, dolehne Hospodinova ruka velmi těžkým morem.4 Hospodin však bude podivuhodně rozlišovat mezi stády izraelskými a stády egyptskými, takže nezajde nic z toho, co patří Izraelcům.5 Hospodin také určil lhůtu: Zítra toto učiní Hospodin v celé zemi.“6 A nazítří to Hospodin učinil. Všechna egyptská stáda pošla, ale z izraelských stád nepošel jediný kus.7 Farao si to dal zjistit, a vskutku z izraelských stád nepošel jediný kus; přesto zůstalo srdce faraónovo neoblomné a lid nepropustil.
— Vředy - Nemoc přichází i na lidi a podlehnou jí dokonce také egyptští věštci.
8 Hospodin řekl Mojžíšovi a Áronovi: „Naberte si plné hrsti sazí z pece a Mojžíš ať je rozhazuje faraónovi před očima směrem k nebi.9 Bude z nich po celé egyptské zemi poprašek, který způsobí na lidech i na dobytku po celé egyptské zemi vředy hnisavých neštovic.“10 Nabrali tedy saze z pece, postavili se před faraóna a Mojžíš je rozhazoval směrem k nebi. Na lidech i na dobytku se objevily vředy hnisavých neštovic.11 Ani věštci se nemohli postavit před Mojžíše pro vředy, neboť vředy byly na věštcích i na všech Egypťanech.12 Hospodin však zatvrdil faraónovo srdce, takže je neposlechl, jak Hospodin Mojžíšovi předpověděl.
— Krupobití - Mojžíš znovu jedná s faraónem a ohlašuje další pohromu. Krupobití zničí úrodu na polích.
13 Hospodin řekl Mojžíšovi: „Za časného jitra se postav před faraóna. Řekneš mu: Toto praví Hospodin, Bůh Hebrejů: Propusť můj lid, aby mi sloužil!14 Tentokrát zasáhnu do srdce všemi svými údery tebe i tvé služebníky a tvůj lid, abys poznal, že na celé zemi není nikdo jako já.15 Vždyť už tehdy, když jsem vztáhl ruku, abych bil tebe i tvůj lid morem, mohl jsi být vyhlazen ze země.16 Avšak proto jsem tě zachoval, abych na tobě ukázal svou moc a aby se po celé zemi vypravovalo o mém jménu.17 Stále jednáš proti mému lidu zpupně a nechceš jej propustit.18 Proto spustím zítra v tuto dobu tak hrozné krupobití, jaké v Egyptě nebylo ode dne jeho vzniku až do nynějška.19 Nuže, dej odvést do bezpečí svá stáda a všechno, co máš na poli. Všechny lidi i dobytek, vše, co bude zastiženo na poli a nebude shromážděno do domu, potluče krupobití, takže zemřou.“20 Kdo z faraónových služebníků se Hospodinova slova ulekl, zahnal své otroky a svá stáda do domů.21 Kdo si slovo Hospodinovo nevzal k srdci, nechal své otroky a svá stáda na poli. 22 Hospodin řekl Mojžíšovi: „Vztáhni svou ruku k nebi. Na celou egyptskou zemi dolehne krupobití, na lidi, na dobytek i na všecky polní byliny v egyptské zemi.“23 Když Mojžíš vztáhl svou hůl k nebi, dopustil Hospodin hromobití a krupobití. Na zemi padal oheň. Tak Hospodin spustil krupobití na egyptskou zemi.24 Nastalo krupobití a uprostřed krupobití šlehal oheň; něco tak hrozného nebylo v celé zemi egyptské od dob, kdy se dostala do moci tohoto pronároda.25 Krupobití potlouklo v celé egyptské zemi všechno, co bylo na poli, od lidí po dobytek; krupobití potlouklo také všechny polní byliny a polámalo všechno polní stromoví.26 Jenom v zemi Gošenu, kde sídlili Izraelci, krupobití nebylo.27 Tu si farao dal předvolat Mojžíše a Árona a řekl jim: „Opět jsem zhřešil. Hospodin je spravedlivý, a já i můj lid jsme svévolníci.28 Proste Hospodina. Božího hromobití a krupobití je už dost. Propustím vás, nemusíte tu už dál zůstat.“29 Mojžíš mu odvětil: „Jen co vyjdu z města, rozprostřu své dlaně k Hospodinu. Hromobití přestane a krupobití skončí, abys poznal, že země je Hospodinova.30 Vím ovšem, že ty ani tvoji služebníci se stále ještě nebudete Hospodina Boha bát.“ 31 Potlučen byl len a ječmen, protože ječmen byl už v klasech a len nasazoval tobolky.32 Pšenice a špalda však potlučeny nebyly, protože jsou pozdní. 33 Mojžíš vyšel od faraóna z města a rozprostřel dlaně k Hospodinu. Hromobití a krupobití přestalo a déšť už nezaplavoval zemi.34 Když farao viděl, že přestal déšť a krupobití i hromobití, hřešil dále. Zůstal v srdci neoblomný, on i jeho služebníci.35 Srdce faraónovo se zatvrdilo a Izraelce nepropustil, jak Hospodin skrze Mojžíše předpověděl.
1Hospodin tedy Mojžíšovi řekl: „Jdi k faraonovi a řekni mu: ‚Takto praví Hospodin, Bůh Hebrejů: Propusť můj lid, aby mi sloužili.2Pokud je však odmítáš propustit a chceš je nadále zadržovat,3dávej pozor: Hospodinova ruka dolehne na tvá stáda. Vše, co máš na pastvinách, koně, osly, velbloudy, skot i brav, zasáhne prudký mor!4Hospodin ale odliší izraelská stáda od egyptských – synům Izraele nezajde jediný kus.‘“5Hospodin určil i dobu, když řekl: „Hospodin to v zemi učiní už zítra.“6A nazítří to Hospodin učinil. Všechna egyptská stáda pošla, ale z izraelských stád nepošel jediný kus.7Farao si to dal zjistit – a vskutku, z izraelských stád nepošel ani kus! Farao však zůstal zatvrzelý a lid nepropustil.
Vředy
8Hospodin tedy Mojžíšovi a Áronovi řekl: „Naberte si plné hrsti sazí z pece a Mojžíš ať je vyhodí před faraonovýma očima k nebi.9Vznikne poprašek, který pokryje celou egyptskou zem a na lidech i dobytku po celém Egyptě se promění v hnisavé vředy neštovic.“10A tak vzali saze z pece, postavili se před faraona, a když je Mojžíš vyhodil k nebi, vypukly na lidech i dobytku vředy hnisavých neštovic.11Věštci se kvůli těm vředům ani nemohli před Mojžíše postavit! Měli totiž na sobě vředy tak jako všichni Egypťané.12Hospodin však posílil faraonovu hrdost. Jak Hospodin Mojžíšovi předpověděl, neposlechl je.
Krupobití
13Tehdy Hospodin Mojžíšovi řekl: „Časně ráno vstaň, postav se před faraona a řekni mu: ‚Takto praví Hospodin, Bůh Hebrejů: Propusť můj lid, aby mi sloužili.14Tentokrát tě totiž spolu s tvými dvořany a s celým tvým lidem zasáhnu naplno, a poznáš, že na celé zemi není nikdo jako já!15Kdybych teď býval vztáhl ruku, mohl jsem tím morem zasáhnout tebe i tvůj lid tak, že bys zmizel ze země.16Přesto jsem tě však zachoval, a to z jediného důvodu – abych ti ukázal svou moc a aby mé jméno bylo rozhlášeno po celé zemi.17Stále se povyšuješ nad můj lid a odmítáš je propustit?18Dávej tedy pozor: Zítra touto dobou způsobím hrozné krupobití, jaké v Egyptě nebylo ode dne jeho založení až doteď.19Rychle nech odvést svá stáda a vše, co máš na poli, pod střechu. Kdokoli zůstane venku, ať člověk nebo zvíře, toho to krupobití utluče!‘“20Kdo z faraonových dvořanů tedy bral Hospodinova slova vážně, zahnal své otroky a dobytek pod střechu.21Kdo si ale Hospodinovo slovo nevzal k srdci, nechal své otroky i dobytek na poli.22Potom Hospodin Mojžíšovi řekl: „Napřáhni ruku k nebi, ať se na celou egyptskou zem spustí krupobití – na lidi, dobytek i na každou polní rostlinu v Egyptě.“23Mojžíš napřáhl svou hůl k nebi a vtom Hospodin spustil hromy a kroupy a k zemi začaly šlehat blesky. To Hospodin chrlil na egyptskou zem kroupy.24Nastalo hrozné krupobití a uprostřed toho krupobití se klikatily blesky. Nic takového se v celém Egyptě neudálo ode dne, kdy se stal národem.25Po celé egyptské zemi potlouklo to krupobití vše, co bylo na poli – jak lidi, tak dobytek. Také všechny polní rostliny to krupobití potlouklo a polámalo všechno polní stromoví.26Jen v gošenském kraji, kde bydleli synové Izraele, žádné krupobití nebylo.27Farao si tehdy nechal zavolat Mojžíše a Árona. „Tentokrát přiznávám svou vinu!“ vykřikl. „Hospodin je v právu a já se svým lidem v neprávu!28Modlete se k Hospodinu. Božích hromů a krupobití už bylo dost! Propustím vás, už se tu nemusíte zdržovat.“29Mojžíš mu odpověděl: „Jakmile vyjdu z města a vzepnu ruce k Hospodinu, hromy přestanou a krupobití skončí. To abys poznal, že země je Hospodinova.30Vím ale, že ty ani tví dvořané dosud nemáte bázeň před Hospodinem, naším Bohem.“31(Len a ječmen byl potlučen, neboť ječmen už měl klasy a len pučel.32Pšenice a špalda ale potlučeny nebyly, protože raší později.)33Mojžíš tedy odešel od faraona ven z města a vzepjal ruce k Hospodinu. Hromy i krupobití rázem skončily a na zem se přestal valit déšť.34A když farao uviděl, že déšť, krupobití i hromy přestaly, pokračoval zarytě ve svém hříchu, stejně jako jeho dvořané.35Farao zůstal neoblomný. Jak Hospodin skrze Mojžíše předpověděl, Izraelity nepropustil.
1Wieder sprach der HERR zu Mose: Geh zum Pharao und sag zu ihm: So spricht der HERR, der Gott der Hebräer: Lass mein Volk ziehen, damit sie mir dienen können!2Wenn du dich weigerst, sie ziehen zu lassen, und sie immer noch festhältst,3wird die Hand des HERRN dein Vieh auf dem Feld, die Pferde und Esel, die Kamele und Rinder, die Schafe und Ziegen, überfallen und über sie eine sehr schwere Seuche bringen.4Aber der HERR wird einen Unterschied zwischen dem Vieh Israels und dem Vieh der Ägypter machen; nichts von dem, was den Israeliten gehört, wird eingehen.5Auch den Zeitpunkt hat der HERR schon festgesetzt: Morgen wird der HERR das im Lande tun.6Am folgenden Tag tat es der HERR. Alles Vieh der Ägypter ging ein, vom Vieh der Israeliten aber ging kein einziges Stück ein.7Der Pharao erkundigte sich, und wirklich: Vom Vieh Israels war kein einziges Stück eingegangen. Doch der Pharao verschloss sein Herz und ließ das Volk nicht ziehen.
Siebtes Zeichen – Geschwüre
8Da sprach der HERR zu Mose und Aaron: Holt euch eine Handvoll Ofenruß und Mose soll ihn vor den Augen des Pharao in die Höhe werfen.9Er wird als Staub auf das ganze Land Ägypten niedergehen und an Mensch und Vieh Geschwüre mit aufplatzenden Blasen hervorrufen, im ganzen Land Ägypten.10Sie holten den Ofenruß, traten vor den Pharao und Mose warf ihn in die Höhe. Da bildeten sich an Mensch und Vieh Geschwüre mit aufplatzenden Blasen.11Die Wahrsager konnten wegen der Geschwüre Mose nicht gegenübertreten, sie waren wie alle Ägypter von Geschwüren befallen.12Aber der HERR verhärtete das Herz des Pharao, sodass er nicht auf sie hörte. So hatte es der HERR dem Mose vorausgesagt.
Achtes Zeichen – Hagel
13Darauf sprach der HERR zu Mose: Steh früh am Morgen auf, tritt vor den Pharao hin und sag zu ihm: So spricht der HERR, der Gott der Hebräer: Lass mein Volk ziehen, damit sie mir dienen können!14Denn diesmal will ich alle meine Plagen loslassen auf dich, deine Diener und dein Volk. Daran wirst du erkennen, dass mir keiner im ganzen Land gleichkommt.15Denn schon jetzt hätte ich meine Hand ausstrecken und dich und dein Volk mit der Pest schlagen können und du wärst vom Erdboden verschwunden.16Ich habe dich aber am Leben gelassen, um dir meine Macht zu zeigen und meinen Namen auf der ganzen Erde bekannt zu machen.17Solange du dich über mein Volk anmaßend erhebst und sie nicht ziehen lässt,18lasse ich morgen um diese Zeit ein sehr schweres Hagelwetter niedergehen, wie es in Ägypten seit seiner Gründung bis auf den heutigen Tag noch keines gegeben hat.19Und nun schick Leute aus, bring dein Vieh in Sicherheit und alles, was dir auf dem Feld gehört! Auf alle Menschen und auf das Vieh, das auf dem Feld bleibt und nicht unter Dach gebracht wird, geht der Hagel nieder und erschlägt sie.20Wer sich von den Dienern des Pharao vor der Drohung des HERRN fürchtete, ließ seine Knechte und sein Vieh unter Dach bringen.21Wer aber das Wort des HERRN nicht ernst nahm, ließ seine Knechte und sein Vieh auf dem Feld.22Und der HERR sprach zu Mose: Streck deine Hand zum Himmel empor! Dann wird Hagel auf das ganze Land Ägypten niedergehen, auf Mensch und Vieh und auf alle Feldpflanzen im Land Ägypten.23Mose streckte seinen Stab zum Himmel empor und der HERR ließ es donnern und hageln. Blitze fuhren auf die Erde herab und der HERR ließ Hagel über das Land Ägypten niedergehen.24Schwerer Hagel prasselte herab und in den sehr schweren Hagel hinein zuckten Blitze. Ähnliches hatte es im ganzen Land Ägypten noch nicht gegeben, seit sie ein Volk geworden waren.25Der Hagel erschlug im ganzen Land Ägypten alles, was auf dem Feld war. Menschen, Vieh und alle Feldpflanzen erschlug der Hagel und alle Feldbäume zerbrach er.26Nur im Land Goschen, wo sich die Israeliten aufhielten, hagelte es nicht.27Da ließ der Pharao Mose und Aaron rufen und sagte zu ihnen: Diesmal bekenne ich mich schuldig. Der HERR ist im Recht; ich aber und mein Volk, wir sind im Unrecht.28Betet zum HERRN! Der Donner Gottes und der Hagel, das ist zu viel. Ich will euch jetzt ziehen lassen; ihr müsst nicht länger bleiben.29Mose antwortete ihm: Sobald ich außerhalb der Stadt bin, werde ich meine Hände vor dem HERRN ausbreiten; der Donner wird aufhören und es wird kein Hagel mehr fallen. So wirst du erkennen, dass das Land dem HERRN gehört.30Du und deine Diener aber, das weiß ich, ihr fürchtet euch noch immer nicht vor Gott, dem HERRN.31Der Flachs und die Gerste waren zerschlagen; denn die Gerste hatte gerade Ähren angesetzt und der Flachs stand in Blüte.32Der Weizen und der Spelt wurden nicht zerschlagen, denn sie kommen später heraus.33Mose verließ den Pharao, ging vor die Stadt hinaus und breitete seine Hände vor dem HERRN aus. Da hörte der Donner auf und kein Hagel und kein Regen fiel mehr auf die Erde.34Doch als der Pharao sah, dass Regen, Hagel und Donner aufgehört hatten, blieb er bei seiner Sünde; er und seine Diener verschlossen wieder ihr Herz.35Das Herz des Pharao blieb hart und er ließ die Israeliten nicht ziehen. So hatte es der HERR durch Mose vorausgesagt.
1Then the Lord said to Moses, “Go in to Pharaoh and say to him, ‘Thus says the Lord, the God of the Hebrews, “Let my people go, that they may serve me. (Ex 7,16; Ex 8,1)2For if you refuse to let them go and still hold them,3behold, the hand of the Lord will fall with a very severe plague upon your livestock that are in the field, the horses, the donkeys, the camels, the herds, and the flocks. (Ex 7,4)4But the Lord will make a distinction between the livestock of Israel and the livestock of Egypt, so that nothing of all that belongs to the people of Israel shall die.”’” (Ex 8,22; Ex 11,7)5And the Lord set a time, saying, “Tomorrow the Lord will do this thing in the land.”6And the next day the Lord did this thing. All the livestock of the Egyptians died, but not one of the livestock of the people of Israel died. (Ex 9,19)7And Pharaoh sent, and behold, not one of the livestock of Israel was dead. But the heart of Pharaoh was hardened, and he did not let the people go. (Ex 7,14)
The Sixth Plague: Boils
8And the Lord said to Moses and Aaron, “Take handfuls of soot from the kiln, and let Moses throw them in the air in the sight of Pharaoh.9It shall become fine dust over all the land of Egypt, and become boils breaking out in sores on man and beast throughout all the land of Egypt.” (Lv 13,18; Dt 28,27; 2Kr 20,7; Jb 2,7; Iz 38,21; Zj 16,2)10So they took soot from the kiln and stood before Pharaoh. And Moses threw it in the air, and it became boils breaking out in sores on man and beast.11And the magicians could not stand before Moses because of the boils, for the boils came upon the magicians and upon all the Egyptians. (Ex 7,11; 2Tm 3,9)12But the Lord hardened the heart of Pharaoh, and he did not listen to them, as the Lord had spoken to Moses. (Ex 4,21)
The Seventh Plague: Hail
13Then the Lord said to Moses, “Rise up early in the morning and present yourself before Pharaoh and say to him, ‘Thus says the Lord, the God of the Hebrews, “Let my people go, that they may serve me. (Ex 7,15; Ex 8,20)14For this time I will send all my plagues on you yourself,[1] and on your servants and your people, so that you may know that there is none like me in all the earth. (Ex 8,10)15For by now I could have put out my hand and struck you and your people with pestilence, and you would have been cut off from the earth.16But for this purpose I have raised you up, to show you my power, so that my name may be proclaimed in all the earth. (Ex 10,1; Ex 11,9; Ex 14,17; Ž 83,18; Př 16,4; Iz 63,12; Ř 9,17)17You are still exalting yourself against my people and will not let them go. (Ex 9,29)34But when Pharaoh saw that the rain and the hail and the thunder had ceased, he sinned yet again and hardened his heart, he and his servants. (Ex 7,14; 1S 6,6)35So the heart of Pharaoh was hardened, and he did not let the people of Israel go, just as the Lord had spoken through Moses. (Ex 4,21)

1Then the LORD said unto Moses, Go in unto Pharaoh, and tell him, Thus saith the LORD God of the Hebrews, Let my people go, that they may serve me.2For if thou refuse to let them go, and wilt hold them still,3Behold, the hand of the LORD is upon thy cattle which is in the field, upon the horses, upon the asses, upon the camels, upon the oxen, and upon the sheep: there shall be a very grievous murrain.4And the LORD shall sever between the cattle of Israel and the cattle of Egypt: and there shall nothing die of all that is the children' of Israel.5And the LORD appointed a set time, saying, To morrow the LORD shall do this thing in the land.6And the LORD did that thing on the morrow, and all the cattle of Egypt died: but of the cattle of the children of Israel died not one.7And Pharaoh sent, and, behold, there was not one of the cattle of the Israelites dead.
