1 Veselte se spravedliví v Hospodinu, na upříméť přísluší chválení. 2 Oslavujte Hospodina na harfě, na loutně, a na nástroji o desíti strunách, žalmy zpívejte jemu. 3 Zpívejte jemu píseň novou, a huďte dobře a zvučně. 4 Nebo pravé jest slovo Hospodinovo, a všeliké dílo jeho stálé. 5 Milujeť spravedlnost a soud, milosrdenství Hospodinova plná jest země. 6 Slovem Hospodinovým nebesa učiněna jsou, a duchem úst jeho všecko vojsko jejich. 7 Onť shrnul jako na hromadu vody mořské, a složil na poklad propasti. 8 Boj se Hospodina všecka země, děstež se před ním všickni obyvatelé okršlku zemského. 9 Nebo on řekl, a stalo se, on rozkázal, a postavilo se. 10 Hospodin ruší rady národů, a v nic obrací přemyšlování lidská. 11 Rada pak Hospodinova na věky trvá, myšlení srdce jeho od národu do pronárodu. 12 Blahoslavený národ, kteréhož Hospodin jest Bohem jeho, lid ten, kterýž sobě on vyvolil za dědictví. 13 Hospodin patře s nebe, vidí všecky syny lidské, 14 Z příbytku trůnu svého dohlédá ke všechněm obyvatelům země. 15 Ten, kterýž stvořil srdce jednoho každého z nich, spatřuje všecky skutky jejich. 16 Nebývá král zachován skrze mnohý zástup, ani udatný rek vysvobozen skrze velikou moc svou. 17 Oklamavatelný jest kůň k spomožení, aniž ve množství síly své vytrhuje. 18 Aj, oči Hospodinovy patří na ty, kteříž se ho bojí, a na ty, kteříž očekávají milosrdenství jeho, 19 Aby vyprostil od smrti duše jejich, a živil je v čas hladu. 20 Duše naše očekává na Hospodina, on jest spomožení naše, a pavéza naše. 21 V něm zajisté rozveselí se srdce naše, nebo ve jménu jeho svatém naději skládáme. 22 Budiž milosrdenství tvé nad námi, Hospodine, jakož naději máme v tobě.

1 Zaplesejte, spravedliví, Hospodinu, přímým lidem sluší se ho chválit. 2 Hospodinu vzdejte chválu při citeře, zpívejte mu žalmy s harfou o deseti strunách. 3 Zpívejte mu novou píseň, hrejte dobře za hlaholu polnic. 4 Neboť slovo Hospodinovo je přímé, v každém svém díle je věrný. 5 Miluje spravedlnost a právo, Hospodinova milosrdenství je plná země. 6 Nebesa byla učiněna Hospodinovým slovem, dechem jeho úst pak všechen jejich zástup. 7 Jako hrází drží pohromadě mořské vody, vodstva propastí uložil v zásobnicích. 8 Boj se Hospodina, celá země, všichni obyvatelé světa, žijte v jeho bázni! 9 Co on řekl, to se stalo, jak přikázal, tak vše stojí. 10 Záměry národů Hospodin maří, lidem úmysly hatí. 11 Záměry Hospodinovy platí věčně, úmysly jeho srdce po všechna pokolení. 12 Blaze národu, jemuž je Hospodin Bohem, lidu, jejž si zvolil za dědictví. 13 Hospodin se dívá z nebe, vidí všechny lidské syny, 14 ze svého pevného trůnu shlíží na všechny, kdo obývají zemi. 15 On utvořil srdce každého z nich, on též rozumí všem jejich skutkům. 16 Král se nezachrání velkým vojskem, rek se nevyprostí velkou zmužilostí. 17 Selže kůň, k záchraně nepostačí, velkou silou svou k úniku nepomůže. 18 Ale oko Hospodinovo bdí nad těmi, kdo se ho bojí, nad těmi, kdo čekají na jeho milosrdenství, 19 aby ze smrti je vysvobodil, naživu je zachoval v čas hladu. 20 Naše duše s touhou vzhlíží k Hospodinu, on je naše pomoc, náš štít. 21 Z něho se raduje naše srdce, my doufáme v jeho svaté jméno. 22 Tvoje milosrdenství buď, Hospodine, s námi; na tebe s důvěrou čekáme!
