1Viděl jsem Pána, an se postavil na oltáři a řekl: Udeř v makovici, až se zatřesou ty veřeje, a rozetni je všecky od vrchu jejich, ostatek pak mečem zmorduji. Neutečeť žádný z nich, aniž kdo z nich bude, ješto by toho znikl.2Byť se pak do země zakopali, i odtud by je ruka má vzala; pakli by vstoupili do nebe, i odtud bych je strhl.3A jestliže by se schovali na vrchu Karmele, vyhledám a vezmu je odtud; pakli by se skryli před očima mýma na dně moře, přikáži hadu, aby je i odtud vyhryzl.4Pakliť by šli v zajetí před nepřátely svými, i tam přikáži meči, aby je zmordoval; obrátím zajisté oko své proti nim k zlému, a ne k dobrému.5Nebo Panovník Hospodin zástupů když se jen dotkne země, rozplývá se, a kvílí všickni přebývající na ní, a vystupuje všecka jako potok, a zatopena bývá jako potokem Egyptským,6Kterýž vzdělal na nebesích paláce své, a zástup svůj na zemi sšikoval, kterýž může zavolati vody mořské, a vyliti ji na svrchek země, jehož jméno jest Hospodin.7Zdaliž nejste podobni synům Mouřenínů přede mnou, ó synové Izraelovi? dí Hospodin. Zdaliž jsem Izraele nevyvedl z země Egyptské, tak jako Filistinské z Kaftor, a Syrské z Kir?8Aj, oči Panovníka Hospodina proti království tomuto hřešícímu, abych je vyhladil se svrchku země, a však nevyhladím docela domu Jákobova, dí Hospodin.9Nebo aj, já přikázal jsem, a budu zmítati domem Izraelským mezi všemi národy, tak jako zmítáno bývá na říčici, tak že ani kameníčko nepropadne na zem.10Mečem zbiti budou všickni hříšníci z lidu mého, kteříž říkají: Nepřiblížíť se, aniž potká nás to zlé.11V ten den zdvihnu stánek Davidův, kterýž klesá, a zahradím mezery jeho, a zbořeniny jeho opravím, a vzdělám jej jako za dnů starodávních,12Aby dědili s ostatky Idumejských a se všechněmi národy, nad kterýmiž jest vzýváno jméno mé, dí Hospodin, kterýž to učiní.13Aj, dnové jdou, dí Hospodin, že postihati bude oráč žence, a ten, kdož tlačí hrozny, rozsevače, hory pak dštíti budou mstem, a všickni pahrbkové oplývati.14Přivedu také zase zajatý lid svůj Izraelský, a vystavějí města zpuštěná, aby v nich bydlili; a budou štěpovati vinice, a píti víno jejich, nadělají i zahrad, a jísti budou ovoce jejich.15A tak je štípím v zemi jejich, že nebudou vykořeněni více z země své, kterouž jsem dal jim, praví Hospodin Bůh tvůj.

1 Spatřil jsem Panovníka, jak stojí nad oltářem. Řekl: “Udeř do hlavice sloupu, až se zachvějí prahy! Sraz jim to všechno na hlavu, ty poslední vybiji mečem. Nikdo z nich neuteče, neunikne, nevyvázne. 2 I kdyby se prokopali do podsvětí, má ruka je odtud vezme. Kdyby vystoupili na nebesa, strhnu je odtud. 3 Ukryjí-li se na vrcholu Karmelu, vypátrám je a vezmu je odtud. Skryjí-li se před mým zrakem na mořském dně, poručím hadu a vyštípe je odtud. 4 Půjdou-li před svými nepřáteli do zajetí, poručím meči, aby je tam pobil, neboť můj zrak spočinul na nich ke zlému a ne k dobrému.“ 5 Panovník Hospodin zástupů sotva se dotkne země, už se zmítá a všichni její obyvatelé truchlí. Celá se vzedme jako Nil a zase opadne jako egyptská řeka. 6 On buduje stupně svého domu na nebesích, nad zemí zakládá svou klenbu. On povolává mořské vody a vylévá je na tvář země. Jeho jméno je Hospodin. 7 Nejste snad pro mne jako Kúšijci, vy, synové Izraele? je výrok Hospodinův. Nevyvedl jsem Izraele z egyptské země a Pelištejce z Kaftóru a Arama z Kíru? 8 Hle, oči Panovníka Hospodina jsou upřeny na toto hříšné království: Vyhladím je z povrchu země. Dům Jákobův však zcela nevyhladím, je výrok Hospodinův. 9 Neboť hle, přikázal jsem a zatřesu izraelským domem mezi všemi pronárody, jako když se třese řešetem, a žádný kamínek nepropadne na zem. 10 Zemřou mečem všichni hříšníci mého lidu, kteří říkají: „Nás nic nepostihne, nás nepotká nic zlého.“
ZASLÍBENÍ OBNOVY - Bůh si obnoví svou církev po dnech zkoušek a přivede do ní vyvolené ze všech národů.
11 V onen den postavím padající Davidův stánek a jeho trhliny zazdím, opravím, co na něm pobořeno, a zbuduji jej jako za dnů dávných. 12 Podrobí si pozůstatek lidu edómského a všech pronárodů; i budou nazývány mým jménem, je výrok Hospodina, který toto činí. 13 Hle, přicházejí dny, je výrok Hospodinův, kdy půjde oráč hned za žencem a ten, kdo šlape hrozny, hned za rozsévačem. Z hor bude kanout mladé víno a všechny pahorky budou oplývat vláhou. 14 Úděl Izraele, svého lidu, změním, oni znovu vybudují zpustošená města a osídlí je, vysadí vinice a budou z nich pít víno, založí zahrady a budou z nich jíst ovoce. 15 Zasadím je do jejich půdy a již nikdy nebudou vykořeněni ze své země, kterou jsem jim dal, praví Hospodin, tvůj Bůh.

Spočinu na nich svým pohledem – avšak ne v dobrém, ale ve zlém!5Panovník, Hospodin zástupů, se dotkne země a ta se roztřese, všichni její obyvatelé se dají do pláče. Jako Nil se celá rozlije a zase opadne jako ta řeka v Egyptě.6Ten, který si staví v nebi komnaty a svoji klenbu založil na zemi, ten, který přivolává mořské vody a vylévá je na zemi, má jméno Hospodin.7Copak nejste, Izraelci, pro mě stejní jako Habešané? praví Hospodin. Copak jsem Izrael nevyvedl z Egypta stejně jako Filištíny z Kaftoru[1] a Aramejce z Kíru?8Hle, oči Panovníka Hospodina utkvěly na tomto hříšném království! Vyhladím dům Jákobův ze země, nevyhladím je však úplně, praví Hospodin.9Hle, už dávám rozkazy![2] Budu přesívat dům Izraele přes všechny národy, tak jako se přesívá sítem, aby nepropadly žádné kamínky.10Stejně tak zahynou mečem v mém lidu všichni hříšníci, kteří říkají: „Nám se nic nestane. Nepotká nás žádné neštěstí!“
Obnovím svůj lid
11Toho dne obnovím zbořený stan Davidův. Opravím jeho trhliny a jeho trosky obnovím – vztyčím jej jako za dávných dnů.12Tehdy jim připadne zbytek Edomu i všechny národy mé jméno nesoucí, praví Hospodin, který to způsobí.13Hle, přicházejí dny, praví Hospodin, kdy žence dožene oráč a toho, kdo šlape hrozny, rozsévač. Hory budou tehdy vínem oplývat a všechny kopce přímo přetékat.[3]14Svůj lid Izrael přivedu zpět ze zajetí. Vystavějí města, jež museli opustit, a budou v nich znovu žít. Budou sázet vinice a jejich víno pít, zakládat zahrady a ovoce z nich jíst.[4]15Zasadím je v jejich zemi, kterou jsem dal jim, a z té země nebudou už nikdy vyrváni, praví Hospodin, tvůj Bůh.
1Ich sah den Herrn auf dem Altar stehen. Er sagte: Zerschlag den Knauf der Säule, sodass die Schwellen erbeben, und zerschmettere allen den Kopf! Was dann von ihnen noch übrig ist, töte ich mit dem Schwert. Keiner von ihnen kann entfliehen, keiner entrinnt, keiner entkommt. Habe ich Israel nicht heraufgeführt / aus dem Land Ägypten
und ebenso die Philister aus Kaftor / und Aram aus Kir?8Siehe, die Augen GOTTES, des Herrn, / sind auf das sündige Königreich gerichtet.
Ich lasse es vom Erdboden verschwinden; / doch ich werde das Haus Jakob nicht völlig vernichten / - Spruch des HERRN. (Am 3,12)9Ja, seht, ich selbst gebe den Befehl, / ich schüttle das Haus Israel unter alle Völker,
