от Veren1Защото, ето, Господ, ГОСПОД на Войнствата, ще отнеме от Ерусалим и от Юда подпората и подкрепата, всяка подпора от хляб и всяка подпора от вода,2силен и воин, съдия и пророк, и врач, и старец,3петдесетоначалник и почитан, и съветник, и изкусен майстор и умел баяч.4И ще им дам момчета за князе и деца ще владеят над тях.5И народът ще бъде потискан – човек от човека и всеки от ближния си. Момчето ще се големее против стареца и нищожният против почитания.6Когато човек улови брат си в бащиния си дом, и каже: Ти имаш дреха, стани ни началник, и нека това разорено място да бъде под твоята ръка! –7в онзи ден той ще надигне глас, ще каже: Не ща да стана изцелител, защото в къщата ми няма нито хляб, нито дреха. Не ме поставяйте началник на народа.8Защото Ерусалим рухна, Юда падна, понеже езикът им и делата им са противни на ГОСПОДА и дразнят славните Му очи.9Изразът на лицето им свидетелства против тях; заявяват явно своя грях, като Содом, не го и крият. Горко на душата им, защото сами на себе си направиха зло!10Кажете на праведния, че ще му бъде добре, защото ще ядат плода на деянията си.11Горко на безбожния, зле ще му бъде, защото делата на ръцете му ще му се отплатят.12Народът Ми – деца го угнетяват и жени над него властват. Народе Мой, водачите ти те заблуждават и объркаха пътя, по който ходиш.13ГОСПОД застава на съд и стои да съди народи.14ГОСПОД ще влезе в съд със старейшините на народа Си и с князете му. И ще им каже: Вие опустошихте лозето! Ограбеното от сиромаха е в къщите ви!15Защо смазвате народа Ми и смилате лицата на сиромасите? – заявява Господ, ГОСПОД на Войнствата.16И ГОСПОД каза: Понеже сионските дъщери са горди и ходят с надигната шия и с безсрамни очи, ходят съблазнително и подрънкват с гривните на краката си,17затова Господ ще оплешиви темето на сионските дъщери и ГОСПОД ще открие срама им.18В онзи ден ГОСПОД ще отнеме славата на дрънкулките, слънчицата и луничките,19обиците и гривните и тънките воали,20и панделките, и верижките на глезените, и поясите, и шишенцата за благоухания, и амулетите,21и пръстените, и обиците на носа,22разкошните дрехи и наметалата, и шаловете, и кесиите,23огледалата и тънките ризи, тюрбаните и покривалата.24И вместо благоухание ще има гнилота, вместо пояс – въже, вместо накъдрени коси – плешивост, вместо нагръдник – опасано вретище, и изгаряне – наместо красота.25Мъжете ти от меч ще паднат и силните ти – във война.26И портите ѝ ще въздишат и ще плачат; и тя ще седи опустошена на земята.
1For behold, the Lord God of hosts is taking away from Jerusalem and from Judah support and supply,[1] all support of bread, and all support of water; (Лев 26:26; Ис 1:24; Ез 4:16)2the mighty man and the soldier, the judge and the prophet, the diviner and the elder, (4 Цар 24:14; Ез 17:13)3the captain of fifty and the man of rank, the counselor and the skillful magician and the expert in charms.4And I will make boys their princes, and infants[2] shall rule over them. (Екл 10:16; Ис 3:12)5And the people will oppress one another, every one his fellow and every one his neighbor; the youth will be insolent to the elder, and the despised to the honorable. (Мих 7:3)6For a man will take hold of his brother in the house of his father, saying: “You have a cloak; you shall be our leader, and this heap of ruins shall be under your rule”; (Ис 4:1)7in that day he will speak out, saying: “I will not be a healer;[3] in my house there is neither bread nor cloak; you shall not make me leader of the people.” (Ис 1:6)8For Jerusalem has stumbled, and Judah has fallen, because their speech and their deeds are against the Lord, defying his glorious presence.[4] (Пс 73:9; Ис 65:3)9For the look on their faces bears witness against them; they proclaim their sin like Sodom; they do not hide it. Woe to them! For they have brought evil on themselves. (Вт 28:1; Пс 128:2; Екл 8:12)11Woe to the wicked! It shall be ill with him, for what his hands have dealt out shall be done to him. (Вт 28:15; Екл 8:13)12My people—infants are their oppressors, and women rule over them. O my people, your guides mislead you and they have swallowed up[5] the course of your paths. (Ис 3:4; Ис 28:14)13The Lord has taken his place to contend; he stands to judge peoples. (Пс 7:6; Ос 4:1)14The Lord will enter into judgment with the elders and princes of his people: “It is you who have devoured[6] the vineyard, the spoil of the poor is in your houses. (Пс 14:4; Ам 3:10; Мих 3:1)15What do you mean by crushing my people, by grinding the face of the poor?” declares the Lord God of hosts. (Пс 94:5)16The Lord said: Because the daughters of Zion are haughty and walk with outstretched necks, glancing wantonly with their eyes, mincing along as they go, tinkling with their feet, (П П 3:11; Ис 3:18; Ис 4:4; Ис 32:9)17therefore the Lord will strike with a scab the heads of the daughters of Zion, and the Lord will lay bare their secret parts. (Вт 28:60; Ис 3:16)18In that day the Lord will take away the finery of the anklets, the headbands, and the crescents; (Съд 8:21; Съд 8:26; Ис 3:16; 1 Пет 3:3)19the pendants, the bracelets, and the scarves;20the headdresses, the armlets, the sashes, the perfume boxes, and the amulets; (Изх 39:28; Ез 24:17)21the signet rings and nose rings; (Бит 24:47; Ез 16:12)22the festal robes, the mantles, the cloaks, and the handbags; (Лк 15:22)23the mirrors, the linen garments, the turbans, and the veils.24Instead of perfume there will be rottenness; and instead of a belt, a rope; and instead of well-set hair, baldness; and instead of a rich robe, a skirt of sackcloth; and branding instead of beauty.
