1 Тогава ГОСПОД говори на Мойсей и Аарон в египетската земя и каза: 2 Този месец ще ви бъде начало на месеците, ще ви бъде първият от месеците на годината. 3 Говорете на цялото израилево общество и кажете: На десетия ден от месеца всеки да си вземе по едно агне за бащиния си дом, по едно агне за един дом. 4 Но ако в дома са малко за агнето, тогава нека го вземе с най-близкия до къщата му съсед според броя на душите; смятайте за агнето според онова, което всеки може да изяде. 5 Агнето ви да бъде без недостатък, едногодишно мъжко; от овцете или от козите да го вземете. 6 И да го пазите до четиринадесетия ден на същия месец; тогава цялото събрание на израилевото общество да го заколи привечер. 7 После да вземат от кръвта и да сложат на двата стълба и на горния праг на вратата на къщите, където ще го ядатст. 13-22;. 8 През същата нощ да ядат месото, печено на огън; с безквасен хляб и с горчиви треви да го ядат. 9 Да не ядете от него сурово, нито варено във вода, а изпечено на огън, с главата му, краката му и вътрешностите му. 10 И да не оставите нищо от него до сутринта; ако остане нещо до сутринта, да го изгорите в огън. 11 Така да го ядете: препасани през кръста си, с обувките на краката си и тоягите в ръцете си. Да го ядете набързо, Пасха на ГОСПОДА е[1]. 12 И в онази нощ Аз ще мина през египетската земя и ще поразя всяко първородно в египетската земя, от човек до животно; и ще извърша съд против всичките египетски богове. Аз съм ГОСПОД. 13 И кръвта ще ви бъде за знак на къщите, където сте, и когато видя кръвта, ще ви отмина, и язвата няма да бъде у вас, за да ви погуби, когато поразя египетската земя[2]. 14 Онзи ден да ви бъде за спомен и да го пазите като празник на ГОСПОДА във всичките си поколения; вечна наредба да ви бъде да го празнувате. 15 Седем дни да ядете безквасен хляб. Още на първия ден да махнете кваса от къщите си, защото всеки, който яде квасно от първия ден до седмия ден, тази душа ще се изтреби от Израил. 16 На първия ден ще имате свято събрание и на седмия ден – свято събрание. Никаква работа да не се върши в тях освен онова, което е нужно за ядене на всекиго; само това може да вършите. 17 И така, да пазите празника на безквасните хлябове, защото в същия този ден изведох войнствата ви от египетската земя. Затова ще ви бъде вечна наредба да пазите този ден във всичките си поколения. 18 От вечерта на четиринадесетия ден на първия месец до вечерта на двадесет и първия ден от месеца да ядете безквасни хлябове. 19 Седем дни да не се намира квас в къщите ви, защото всеки, който яде квасно, онази душа ще се изтреби от обществото на Израил, бил той пришълец, или местен жител. 20 Нищо квасно да не ядете; във всичките си жилища да ядете безквасни хлябове. 21 И Мойсей повика всичките старейшини на Израил и им каза: Изберете и си вземете по едно агне според челядите си и заколете пасхата. 22 После вземете китка от исоп и я потопете в кръвта в съда, и намажете с кръвта в съда горния праг и двата стълба на вратата. И никой от вас да не излиза от вратата на къщата си до сутринта. 23 Защото ГОСПОД ще мине, за да порази египтяните[3], и когато види кръвта на горния праг и на двата стълба на вратата, ГОСПОД ще отмине вратата и няма да остави погубителя да влезе в къщите ви, за да ви порази. 24 И ще пазите това като вечна наредба за теб и за синовете ти. 25 Когато влезете в земята, която ГОСПОД ще ви даде, както каза, да пазите тази служба. 26 И когато децата ви попитат: Какво означава тази служба у вас? – 27 тогава да отговорите: Това е жертва за Пасхата на ГОСПОДА, който отмина къщите на израилевите синове в Египет, когато порази египтяните, а нашите къщи спаси. Тогава народът се наведе и се поклони. 28 И израилевите синове отидоха и направиха, както ГОСПОД заповяда на Мойсей и Аарон; така направиха[4]. 29 И в полунощ ГОСПОД порази всяко първородно в египетската земя, от първородния на фараона, който седеше на престола си, до първородния на пленника, който беше в затвора, и всяко първородно от добитъка. 30 И фараонът стана през нощта, той и всичките му слуги, и всичките египтяни; и се нададе голям писък в Египет, защото нямаше къща, в която да няма мъртвец. 31 И повика Мойсей и Аарон през нощта и каза: Станете и излезте изсред народа ми, и вие, и израилевите синове, и идете, послужете на ГОСПОДА, както казахте! 32 Вземете и стадата си и говедата си, както казахте, и идете; и благословете и мен. 33 Египтяните също принуждаваха народа, за да го отпратят по-скоро от земята, защото си казваха: Ние всички измираме! 34 И народът вдигна тестото си, преди да се закваси, като носеха на рамене нощвите обвити в дрехите си. 35 А израилевите синове бяха постъпили, както Мойсей беше казал, и бяха поискали от египтяните сребърни вещи и златни вещи и дрехи. 36 И ГОСПОД беше дал на народа благоволение пред египтяните и те им бяха дали, каквото поискаха. Така те обраха египтяните. 37 И така, израилевите синове се дигнаха от Рамесий за Сокхот, около шестстотин хиляди мъже пешаци, освен челядите. 38 А с тях излезе и голямо разноплеменно множество, както и твърде много добитък – овце и говеда. 39 А от тестото, което носеха от Египет, изпекоха безквасни пити, защото не се беше заквасило, понеже ги изпъдиха от Египет и те не можаха да се бавят, нито да си приготвят ядене за из пътя. 40 А времето, което израилевите синове прекараха като пришълци в Египет, беше четиристотин и тридесет години. 41 И в края на четиристотин и тридесетте години, в същия онзи ден, всичките ГОСПОДНИ войнства излязоха от египетската земя. 42 Това е нощ, която трябва да се пази за ГОСПОДА, защото ги изведе от египетската земя; това е онази нощ на ГОСПОДА, която трябва да се пази от всичките израилеви синове във всичките им поколения. 43 И ГОСПОД каза на Мойсей и Аарон: Ето закона за пасхата: никой чужденец да не яде от нея. 44 Но всеки роб, купен с пари, когато го обрежеш, може да яде от нея. 45 Пришълец или наемник да не яде от нея. 46 В една къща да се изяде. От месото да не изнасяте вън от къщи и кост от нея да не строшите. 47 Цялото общество израилеви синове да прави това. 48 И ако някой чужденец живее като пришълец заедно с теб и иска да пази пасхата на ГОСПОДА, нека всичките му мъжки се обрежат, и тогава нека пристъпи да я пази; той ще бъде като местен жител на земята. Но никой необрязан не бива да яде от нея. 49 Един закон ще има за местния жител и за чужденеца, който е пришълец между вас. 50 И всичките израилеви синове направиха, както ГОСПОД заповяда на Мойсей и Аарон; така направиха. 51 И така, в същия онзи ден ГОСПОД изведе израилевите синове от египетската земя според войнствата им.

1 The Lord said to Moses and Aaron in the land of Egypt, 2 “This month shall be for you the beginning of months. It shall be the first month of the year for you. (Изх 13:4; Изх 23:15; Изх 34:18; Вт 16:1) 3 Tell all the congregation of Israel that on the tenth day of this month every man shall take a lamb according to their fathers’ houses, a lamb for a household. (Изх 12:21) 4 And if the household is too small for a lamb, then he and his nearest neighbor shall take according to the number of persons; according to what each can eat you shall make your count for the lamb. 5 Your lamb shall be without blemish, a male a year old. You may take it from the sheep or from the goats, (Лев 22:19; Вт 17:1; Мал 1:8; Мал 1:14; Евр 9:14) 6 and you shall keep it until the fourteenth day of this month, when the whole assembly of the congregation of Israel shall kill their lambs at twilight.[1] (Изх 12:18; Лев 23:5; Чис 9:3; Чис 28:16; И Н 5:10; Езд 6:19) 7 “Then they shall take some of the blood and put it on the two doorposts and the lintel of the houses in which they eat it. (Изх 12:22) 8 They shall eat the flesh that night, roasted on the fire; with unleavened bread and bitter herbs they shall eat it. (Изх 23:18; Изх 34:25; Чис 9:11; Вт 16:3; 1 Кор 5:8) 9 Do not eat any of it raw or boiled in water, but roasted, its head with its legs and its inner parts. (Вт 16:7; 2 Лет 35:13) 10 And you shall let none of it remain until the morning; anything that remains until the morning you shall burn. And you shall eat it in haste. It is the Lord’s Passover. (Изх 12:27; Лев 23:5; Вт 16:5; Лк 12:35; 1 Кор 5:7; Еф 6:14; 1 Пет 1:13) 12 For I will pass through the land of Egypt that night, and I will strike all the firstborn in the land of Egypt, both man and beast; and on all the gods of Egypt I will execute judgments: I am the Lord. And when I see the blood, I will pass over you, and no plague will befall you to destroy you, when I strike the land of Egypt. (Лев 23:7; Чис 28:18; Чис 28:25) 17 And you shall observe the Feast of Unleavened Bread, for on this very day I brought your hosts out of the land of Egypt. Therefore you shall observe this day, throughout your generations, as a statute forever. (Изх 12:3) 22 Take a bunch of hyssop and dip it in the blood that is in the basin, and touch the lintel and the two doorposts with the blood that is in the basin. None of you shall go out of the door of his house until the morning. (Изх 12:7; Лев 14:6; Чис 19:18; Пс 51:7; Ис 26:20; Евр 9:19; Евр 11:28) 23 For the Lord will pass through to strike the Egyptians, and when he sees the blood on the lintel and on the two doorposts, the Lord will pass over the door and will not allow the destroyer to enter your houses to strike you. (Изх 12:12; Изх 12:22; Ез 9:6; Евр 11:28; Отк 7:3; Отк 9:4) 24 You shall observe this rite as a statute for you and for your sons forever. 25 And when you come to the land that the Lord will give you, as he has promised, you shall keep this service. (Изх 4:31; Изх 12:11; Изх 12:21) 28 Then the people of Israel went and did so; as the Lord had commanded Moses and Aaron, so they did. 29 At midnight the Lord struck down all the firstborn in the land of Egypt, from the firstborn of Pharaoh who sat on his throne to the firstborn of the captive who was in the dungeon, and all the firstborn of the livestock. (Изх 11:6; Ам 5:16) 31 Then he summoned Moses and Aaron by night and said, “Up, go out from among my people, both you and the people of Israel; and go, serve the Lord, as you have said. (Изх 10:9) 32 Take your flocks and your herds, as you have said, and be gone, and bless me also!” (Изх 10:24) 33 The Egyptians were urgent with the people to send them out of the land in haste. For they said, “We shall all be dead.” (Изх 6:1; Изх 11:1; Изх 11:8; Пс 105:38) 34 So the people took their dough before it was leavened, their kneading bowls being bound up in their cloaks on their shoulders. 35 The people of Israel had also done as Moses told them, for they had asked the Egyptians for silver and gold jewelry and for clothing. (Изх 3:22; Изх 11:2) 36 And the Lord had given the people favor in the sight of the Egyptians, so that they let them have what they asked. Thus they plundered the Egyptians. (Бит 15:14; Изх 3:21; Изх 11:3; Пс 105:37) 37 And the people of Israel journeyed from Rameses to Succoth, about six hundred thousand men on foot, besides women and children. (Лев 24:10; Чис 11:4; Неем 13:3) 39 And they baked unleavened cakes of the dough that they had brought out of Egypt, for it was not leavened, because they were thrust out of Egypt and could not wait, nor had they prepared any provisions for themselves. (Изх 12:33; Вт 16:3) 40 The time that the people of Israel lived in Egypt was 430 years. 41 At the end of 430 years, on that very day, all the hosts of the Lord went out from the land of Egypt. (Бит 15:13; Д А 7:6; Гал 3:17) 42 It was a night of watching by the Lord, to bring them out of the land of Egypt; so this same night is a night of watching kept to the Lord by all the people of Israel throughout their generations. (Вт 16:1) 43 And the Lord said to Moses and Aaron, “This is the statute of the Passover: no foreigner shall eat of it, 44 but every slave[2] that is bought for money may eat of it after you have circumcised him. (Бит 17:12) 45 No foreigner or hired worker may eat of it. (Лев 22:10) 46 It shall be eaten in one house; you shall not take any of the flesh outside the house, and you shall not break any of its bones. (Чис 9:12; Йн 19:36) 47 All the congregation of Israel shall keep it. (Изх 12:6) 48 If a stranger shall sojourn with you and would keep the Passover to the Lord, let all his males be circumcised. Then he may come near and keep it; he shall be as a native of the land. But no uncircumcised person shall eat of it. (Изх 12:19; Чис 9:14) 49 There shall be one law for the native and for the stranger who sojourns among you.” (Изх 12:48; Чис 9:14; Чис 15:15) 50 All the people of Israel did just as the Lord commanded Moses and Aaron. 51 And on that very day the Lord brought the people of Israel out of the land of Egypt by their hosts.
