1 Psaume de David. La terre et ses richesses ╵appartiennent à l’Eternel. L’univers est à lui ╵avec ceux qui l’habitent[1]. (1Co 10:26) 2 C’est lui qui a fondé ╵la terre sur les mers, qui l’a établie fermement ╵au-dessus des cours d’eau. 3 Qui pourra accéder ╵au mont de l’Eternel? Qui pourra se tenir ╵dans sa demeure sainte? 4 L’innocent aux mains nettes ╵et qui a le cœur pur, qui ne se tourne pas ╵vers le mensonge[2], et qui ne jure pas ╵pour tromper son prochain. 5 Celui qui vit ainsi ╵sera béni par l’Eternel, il obtiendra justice ╵de son Dieu qui le sauve. 6 O Eternel, tel est le peuple ╵qui se tourne vers toi et qui s’attache à toi, ╵Dieu de Jacob[3]. Pause 7 Relevez vos frontons, ╵ô portes[4], haussez-vous, ╵vous, portes éternelles, pour que le Roi glorieux ╵y fasse son entrée! 8 Qui est ce Roi glorieux? C’est l’Eternel, ╵le Fort et le Vaillant, oui, l’Eternel, ╵vaillant dans les combats. 9 Relevez vos frontons, ╵ô portes, haussez-vous, ╵vous, portes éternelles, pour que le Roi glorieux ╵y fasse son entrée! 10 Qui est ce Roi glorieux? Le Seigneur des armées célestes, c’est lui le Roi glorieux. Pause

1 The earth is the LORD’s and the fullness thereof,[1] the world and those who dwell therein, (Ex 9:29; Ex 19:5; Dt 10:14; Jb 41:11; Ps 50:12; Ps 89:11; 1Co 10:26) 2 for he has founded it upon the seas and established it upon the rivers. (Gn 1:9; Jb 38:6; Ps 104:5; Ps 136:6; Pr 8:29) 3 Who shall ascend the hill of the LORD? And who shall stand in his holy place? (Ps 2:6; Ps 15:1) 4 He who has clean hands and a pure heart, who does not lift up his soul to what is false and does not swear deceitfully. (Dt 10:12; Jb 22:30; Ps 31:6; Ps 73:1; Ps 119:37; Is 33:15; Is 33:16; Ez 18:6; Mi 6:8; Mt 5:8) 5 He will receive blessing from the LORD and righteousness from the God of his salvation. (Gn 22:17; Gn 22:18; Ps 27:9; Ps 38:22; Ps 51:14; Ps 88:1; Is 46:13; Is 56:1) 6 Such is the generation of those who seek him, who seek the face of the God of Jacob.[2] Selah (Ps 14:5; Ps 27:8; Ps 105:4) 7 Lift up your heads, O gates! And be lifted up, O ancient doors, that the King of glory may come in. (Ps 118:19; Ps 118:20; Is 26:2; 1Co 2:8) 8 Who is this King of glory? The LORD, strong and mighty, the LORD, mighty in battle! (Ex 15:3) 9 Lift up your heads, O gates! And lift them up, O ancient doors, that the King of glory may come in. 10 Who is this King of glory? The LORD of hosts, he is the King of glory! Selah (Ml 1:14)
