1 Hospodin kraluje – národy, chvějte se! Trůní nad cherubíny – země ať třese se! 2 Veliký je na Sionu Hospodin, vyvýšený nad všemi národy. 3 Tvé jméno veliké a hrozné ať velebí: „On je svatý!“ 4 Král ve své síle právo miluje, vždyť ty jsi rovnost stanovil, právo a spravedlnost v Jákobovi konáš ty. 5 Vyvyšujte Hospodina, Boha našeho, klaňte se u jeho podnoží: „On je svatý!“ 6 Mojžíš a Áron jsou mezi jeho kněžími, Samuel mezi těmi, kdo jeho jméno vzývají; k Hospodinu volali a on jim odvětil. 7 Z oblakového sloupu mluvil k nim; dbali na svědectví a zákony, které jim uložil. 8 Hospodine, Bože náš, tys jim odpovídal, byl jsi jim Bohem, který odpouští, i když jsi trestal jejich zločiny. 9 Vyvyšujte Hospodina, Boha našeho, klaňte se na hoře jeho svatosti: „Jistě je svatý náš Bůh, Hospodin!“

1 The Lord reigns; let the peoples tremble! He sits enthroned upon the cherubim; let the earth quake! (1Pa 16,31; Ž 80,1; Ž 93,1; Ž 96,9; Iz 24,19) 2 The Lord is great in Zion; he is exalted over all the peoples. (Ž 92,8; Ž 93,4; Ž 113,4; Iz 24,23) 3 Let them praise your great and awesome name! Holy is he! (Dt 28,58; Jz 24,19; Ž 111,9; Iz 6,3; Zj 15,4) 4 The King in his might loves justice.[1] You have established equity; you have executed justice and righteousness in Jacob. (Jb 36,5; Ž 11,7; Ž 99,1; Iz 61,8) 5 Exalt the Lord our God; worship at his footstool! Holy is he! (Ex 15,2; 1Pa 28,2; Ž 99,3; Ž 107,32; Ž 118,28; Ž 132,7; Iz 25,1; Iz 60,13; Pl 2,1; Ez 43,7) 6 Moses and Aaron were among his priests, Samuel also was among those who called upon his name. They called to the Lord, and he answered them.
