Mt 9:9As Jesus went on from there, he saw a man named Matthew sitting at the tax collector’s booth. ‘Follow me,’ he told him, and Matthew got up and followed him.Mt 5:9Blessed are the peacemakers, for they will be called children of God.Mt 5:48Be perfect, therefore, as your heavenly Father is perfect.Mt 5:7Blessed are the merciful, for they will be shown mercy.Mt 5:5Blessed are the meek, for they will inherit the earth.Mt 11:28‘Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.Mt 28:16Then the eleven disciples went to Galilee, to the mountain where Jesus had told them to go.Mt 10:8Heal those who are ill, raise the dead, cleanse those who have leprosy, drive out demons. Freely you have received; freely give.Mt 5:1Now when Jesus saw the crowds, he went up on a mountainside and sat down. His disciples came to him,Mt 19:21Jesus answered, ‘If you want to be perfect, go, sell your possessions and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven. Then come, follow me.’Mt 22:1Jesus spoke to them again in parables, saying:Mt 5:45that you may be children of your Father in heaven. He causes his sun to rise on the evil and the good, and sends rain on the righteous and the unrighteous.Mt 5:16In the same way, let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven.Mt 10:23When you are persecuted in one place, flee to another. Truly I tell you, you will not finish going through the towns of Israel before the Son of Man comes.Mt 11:29Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls.Mt 16:24Then Jesus said to his disciples, ‘Whoever wants to be my disciple must deny themselves and take up their cross and follow me.Mt 3:15Jesus replied, ‘Let it be so now; it is proper for us to do this to fulfil all righteousness.’ Then John consented.Mt 13:43Then the righteous will shine like the sun in the kingdom of their Father. Whoever has ears, let them hear.Mt 5:12Rejoice and be glad, because great is your reward in heaven, for in the same way they persecuted the prophets who were before you.Mt 20:23Jesus said to them, ‘You will indeed drink from my cup, but to sit at my right or left is not for me to grant. These places belong to those for whom they have been prepared by my Father.’Mt 13:30Let both grow together until the harvest. At that time I will tell the harvesters: first collect the weeds and tie them in bundles to be burned; then gather the wheat and bring it into my barn.” ’Mt 18:35‘This is how my heavenly Father will treat each of you unless you forgive your brother or sister from your heart.’Mt 6:33But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.Mt 5:2and he began to teach them. He said:Mt 5:6Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they will be filled.Mt 9:10While Jesus was having dinner at Matthew’s house, many tax collectors and sinners came and ate with him and his disciples.Mt 7:7‘Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you.Mt 28:19Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptising them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit,Mt 18:20For where two or three gather in my name, there am I with them.’Mr 2:13Once again Jesus went out beside the lake. A large crowd came to him, and he began to teach them.Lu 12:33Sell your possessions and give to the poor. Provide purses for yourselves that will not wear out, a treasure in heaven that will never fail, where no thief comes near and no moth destroys.Mt 19:29And everyone who has left houses or brothers or sisters or father or mother or wife or children or fields for my sake will receive a hundred times as much and will inherit eternal life.Lu 6:17He went down with them and stood on a level place. A large crowd of his disciples was there and a great number of people from all over Judea, from Jerusalem, and from the coastal region around Tyre and Sidon,Mr 8:34Then he called the crowd to him along with his disciples and said: ‘Whoever wants to be my disciple must deny themselves and take up their cross and follow me.Mr 1:17‘Come, follow me,’ Jesus said, ‘and I will send you out to fish for people.’Mt 4:19‘Come, follow me,’ Jesus said, ‘and I will send you out to fish for people.’Mt 15:10Jesus called the crowd to him and said, ‘Listen and understand.Lu 12:1Meanwhile, when a crowd of many thousands had gathered, so that they were trampling on one another, Jesus began to speak first to his disciples, saying: ‘Be on your guard against the yeast of the Pharisees, which is hypocrisy.Mr 14:36‘Abba, Father,’ he said, ‘everything is possible for you. Take this cup from me. Yet not what I will, but what you will.’Mt 18:10-11‘See that you do not despise one of these little ones. For I tell you that their angels in heaven always see the face of my Father in heaven.Mr 10:45For even the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many.’Mt 17:27‘But so that we may not cause offence, go to the lake and throw out your line. Take the first fish you catch; open its mouth and you will find a four-drachma coin. Take it and give it to them for my tax and yours.’Mr 10:16And he took the children in his arms, placed his hands on them and blessed them.Mt 20:28just as the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many.’Mt 5:39But I tell you, do not resist an evil person. If anyone slaps you on the right cheek, turn to them the other cheek also.Lu 14:16Jesus replied: ‘A certain man was preparing a great banquet and invited many guests.Mt 13:53When Jesus had finished these parables, he moved on from there.Mt 24:14And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in the whole world as a testimony to all nations, and then the end will come.Mt 9:36When he saw the crowds, he had compassion on them, because they were harassed and helpless, like sheep without a shepherd.Lu 6:38Give, and it will be given to you. A good measure, pressed down, shaken together and running over, will be poured into your lap. For with the measure you use, it will be measured to you.’Mt 26:36Then Jesus went with his disciples to a place called Gethsemane, and he said to them, ‘Sit here while I go over there and pray.’Ro 12:2Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is – his good, pleasing and perfect will.Mt 5:4Blessed are those who mourn, for they will be comforted.Lu 6:36Be merciful, just as your Father is merciful.Mt 5:8Blessed are the pure in heart, for they will see God.Mt 12:15Aware of this, Jesus withdrew from that place. A large crowd followed him, and he healed all who were ill.Mr 10:21Jesus looked at him and loved him. ‘One thing you lack,’ he said. ‘Go, sell everything you have and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven. Then come, follow me.’Mr 13:10And the gospel must first be preached to all nations.Mt 26:41‘Watch and pray so that you will not fall into temptation. The spirit is willing, but the flesh is weak.’Mt 5:38‘You have heard that it was said, “Eye for eye, and tooth for tooth.”Mt 8:11I say to you that many will come from the east and the west, and will take their places at the feast with Abraham, Isaac and Jacob in the kingdom of heaven.Mt 23:1Then Jesus said to the crowds and to his disciples:Mt 16:27For the Son of Man is going to come in his Father’s glory with his angels, and then he will reward each person according to what they have done.Lu 5:27After this, Jesus went out and saw a tax collector by the name of Levi sitting at his tax booth. ‘Follow me,’ Jesus said to him,Joh 5:8Then Jesus said to him, ‘Get up! Pick up your mat and walk.’Mr 10:39‘We can,’ they answered. Jesus said to them, ‘You will drink the cup I drink and be baptised with the baptism I am baptised with,Mt 28:10Then Jesus said to them, ‘Do not be afraid. Go and tell my brothers to go to Galilee; there they will see me.’Mt 6:26Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than they?Mt 4:10Jesus said to him, ‘Away from me, Satan! For it is written: “Worship the Lord your God, and serve him only.” ’Mt 7:12So in everything, do to others what you would have them do to you, for this sums up the Law and the Prophets.Mt 26:28This is my blood of the covenant, which is poured out for many for the forgiveness of sins.Mt 19:26Jesus looked at them and said, ‘With man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.’Mt 10:33But whoever disowns me before others, I will disown before my Father in heaven.Lu 19:10For the Son of Man came to seek and to save the lost.’Mr 14:41Returning the third time, he said to them, ‘Are you still sleeping and resting? Enough! The hour has come. Look, the Son of Man is delivered into the hands of sinners.Joh 6:3Then Jesus went up on a mountainside and sat down with his disciples.Mt 6:20But store up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where moths and vermin do not destroy, and where thieves do not break in and steal.Mt 26:1When Jesus had finished saying all these things, he said to his disciples,Mt 9:13But go and learn what this means: “I desire mercy, not sacrifice.” For I have not come to call the righteous, but sinners.’Mt 5:24leave your gift there in front of the altar. First go and be reconciled to them; then come and offer your gift.Mt 5:44But I tell you, love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you,Mr 9:2After six days Jesus took Peter, James and John with him and led them up a high mountain, where they were all alone. There he was transfigured before them.Mt 6:1‘Be careful not to practise your righteousness in front of others to be seen by them. If you do, you will have no reward from your Father in heaven.Lu 6:23‘Rejoice in that day and leap for joy, because great is your reward in heaven. For that is how their ancestors treated the prophets.Mr 6:34When Jesus landed and saw a large crowd, he had compassion on them, because they were like sheep without a shepherd. So he began teaching them many things.Mt 19:14Jesus said, ‘Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these.’Mt 8:4Then Jesus said to him, ‘See that you don’t tell anyone. But go, show yourself to the priest and offer the gift Moses commanded, as a testimony to them.’Mr 2:14As he walked along, he saw Levi son of Alphaeus sitting at the tax collector’s booth. ‘Follow me,’ Jesus told him, and Levi got up and followed him.Lu 4:12Jesus answered, ‘It is said: “Do not put the Lord your God to the test.” ’Mt 5:10Blessed are those who are persecuted because of righteousness, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.Mt 21:21Jesus replied, ‘Truly I tell you, if you have faith and do not doubt, not only can you do what was done to the fig-tree, but also you can say to this mountain, “Go, throw yourself into the sea,” and it will be done.Mt 23:26Blind Pharisee! First clean the inside of the cup and dish, and then the outside also will be clean.Lu 24:47and repentance for the forgiveness of sins will be preached in his name to all nations, beginning at Jerusalem.Mr 10:1Jesus then left that place and went into the region of Judea and across the Jordan. Again crowds of people came to him, and as was his custom, he taught them.Mr 10:29‘Truly I tell you,’ Jesus replied, ‘no-one who has left home or brothers or sisters or mother or father or children or fields for me and the gospelMt 23:9And do not call anyone on earth “father”, for you have one Father, and he is in heaven.Lu 11:4Forgive us our sins, for we also forgive everyone who sins against us. And lead us not into temptation. ” ’Joh 13:34‘A new command I give you: love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another.Lu 6:27‘But to you who are listening I say: love your enemies, do good to those who hate you,Mt 23:15‘Woe to you, teachers of the law and Pharisees, you hypocrites! You travel over land and sea to win a single convert, and when you have succeeded, you make them twice as much a child of hell as you are.
